This is early. There are 5 chapters left of this volume, and this arc should end in September. Negi needs to keep the bride's identity mysterious at least a bit more than that.

It may well be that the answers he gives all end up being rejections and the story keeps going for awhile with less in the bowl.
There's a case to be made that Ichika's already been removed in which case it wouldn't be that weird if we lost more.

Since unlike other harems/romcoms the losers can't just go away, there should be one last arc to fix the sisters relationship after Fuuts confession
There's also the issue with Yotsuba which could make Fuu need some extra time to figure out his feelings before giving out his final answer
Also Miku has always been worried about how dating Fuu would change things between all of them so there's some good drama to be had when she sees her fears come true

That's actually a great idea. Would it count as genre shift in the most "unpredictable" way? Just imagine, next chapter involves gradually rising tension via dialogues, slipped frame of accidential mistake by festival cook store member, clocks ticking to the critical point and then, while readers expect confession from Fuutarou hurriedly going to meet some inknown quint, sudden explosion happens at the same moment near him. The outcome is ambigous, chapter ends with cliffhanger.
