Yee nigga. My money is going to these slant eyed fucks so hopefully they don’t sell the rights to JC staff or god forbid Netflix. I give them money and my favorite series doesn’t get raped that’s how it goes right...

Never bought anything anime and manga related. And never will.

Why would I buy something that's free?

I only own psycho pass season one and both code Geass seasons.

Yes, but I don't buy them in set like that though.
I buy mangas more consistently.

It's not free, you thieving fuck.

Yah, Miru Tights BD is on its way to me in the mail

I always buy every Strike Witches!
Here's to 10 more years!

Not western releases, that's for sure.

Why not?

Occasionally when the money is right.
Most of the time though I just pirate it in order to try it out. Although sometimes I just buy a set and jump right in, thats how I got into Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, and Trigun.
>still no US NGE BLU RAY WTF

Shipping is a pain in the ass in Europe, and it cost almost as much as what you are buying.

I'm currently looking for a Lucky Star DVD/Bluray set. Despite not being a very good anime it was still the first one I saw as a kid.

Lucky Star isn't that expensive the last time I looked at it on Amazon

Same reason I don't give my money to crunchyshit and the likes.

But they're much cheaper and include more stuff.

>include more stuff
That's rather unusual

Yes, I do.

Pic's a little old. I've now got the K-on collection and Joshiraku here.

no, my country sells you a 12 episode show in 3 BDs for 40€ each. Meanwhile Burgers get that for 30 Burgerbucks for 12 episodes.

Yea but German dubs generally are much higher quality than English ones and have you seen how many sets Kimetsu no Yaiba is sold on in Japan?
>B-but muh money
Enjoy not being able to experience your show multiple times while paying full attention to your screen without cringing every 2 seconds
I'm definitely going German when KnY released in 2020

>dubs
>can't rewatch anything but BDs

Uh no?

This is your average shounenshitter.

I'd rather have no dubs than pay FOUR!!! times as much.
I watched shokugeki no soma in german because netflix only had german subs, which is worse than anything because it's just english subs translated.
it was pretty good, but it's in no way worth the price they ask for BDs here.

Oh, yeah, this too, 90% of other subs/dubs are just the american subs translated.

What's the best quality blu ray of sailor moon that i can watch sub?

>English subs translated
That's simply not true, the German Snk subs for series 3 p2 came out 8hours earlier than the English ones
>Hur dur similar
Because they are translating the same fucking show

Why are physical anime releases in the west so bad, bros?

Attached: nich0.jpg (1280x720, 94K)

you think licensing studios rather pay 1/10000 person who can translate jap-->german rather than the 9/10 people readily available who can translate english to german?

its EVA you nog. nge is a bullshit abriv.

I bought that one and the Outlaw Star special edition bluray, not really worth it at all

whatever
I just want the fucking blu-ray. 3.0+1.0 cant come soon enough to end the damn deal

Might be the the thing for some rare cases, but usually you can spot the americanized shit.

i will never buy anything

Only scumbags pirate.

I wish Sabagebu! was released on Blu-Ray in Europe.

I buy art books. If they sold the bluray rips online I might consider buying those, but I am not gonna spend a cent on physical media.

Homo

Yes, I have a large collection of hybrid DVDs and Blurays

>Ika
CUTE 10/10 COLLECTION

A piece of advice, if you have old DVD boxsets keep them in good shape, When Geneon went under the price of the Samurai Champloo LE boxset went through the roof, I had someone offer me 5 thousands dollars for one of mine recently

Still waiting for the Trigun Blurays

Why would you pay for something you don't actually own?
