da fuck you on? theres no lose flags here for anyone.
Camden Harris
So obviously Hina and Rui still like Natsuo. But while Hinas break up with Natsuo had a purpose, what purpose has Ruis served? she hasn't developed that much to say she will be more trusting of Hina and Natsuo, or be less controlling. If anything the breakup made Natsuo suffer and all we saw of Rui was her enjoying herself. literally whats the point if not to make Natsuo and Rui move on in the end since Hina still isn't taking the opportunity to confess and Miyabi would of done it anyway?
when i translated the ヒナは義姉として挨拶に向かった際に桃源は体調が崩れだすが誤魔化す i thought it was about Hina meeting her sister in law and she gets jealous over Hinas body being more mature than her own. But instead its hina not confessing, trying to be a sister in law but now her body is getting sick because she cant keep her feelings down?
Seems like its not Shuu but Marie that wants to talk to Natsuo about Hina. Its not like Marie to tell secrets and as a bartender he cant take sides, but i can see him telling Natsuo to think about his relationship with Hina and ask if he was happier with Hina or Rui in order to nudge him to Hina without actually telling him anything. AS Hina, Natsuo and Ruis friend and confidant for 2-3 years he has heard all their problems, learned about their happiness and pain, their triggers and faults so he probobly knows whose best with who, but will go a round-about way of making things go there since a bartender cant openly take sides.
Jackson Garcia
Chef and Rui are going end up together, the author hasn't built this relationship on several chapters for nothing. And more importantly, Hina didn't dating Natsuo while Rui was gone, it was the losing flag to avoid. My prediction, rui and natsuo will come back together and realized both have moved on and love a another person at the end (chef and hina)

True. Hina wasn't meant to win from the beginning because of age gap and status gap. They were teacher and student, and now big sister and little brother. Rui can connect with him more because at leadt they're the same age and status. Also Rui has the "first girl wins" privilege at her side.
Grayson Kelly

Xavier Campbell
>>It's Shu who takes HinaxNatsuo photo confirmed what photo?
Matthew Edwards
you dont want to use the "first girl" trope because Hina has WAY more tropes.
Also, first girl has 3 ways of being made.
First girl can be "first girl introduced to the MC that he has no prior association or little memory of" with an example being Chitoge in Nisekoi, Touka in tokyo ghoul. This does not work for Rui because by the time the story starts (first page) he and Rui are already antiquated so in this regard, the 'first girl' trope does not work
the second is the "first girl MC falls in love with" which would be Hina in this case. a winning example includes Juliet from Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet and Asuna from SAO while a losing one includes
3rd is "First girl introduced in the story" which DOES mean Rui, but these characters don't always win such as Sakura from Naruto, Leon from Akame ga kill, Onodea from Nisekoi, Ichigo from darling in the franxx (i think) etc.
Also, "first Girl" has never been a factor in Sasugas works. In Good ending, the MC knew both love interests equally and the loser was the first one presented. baisically, i wouldn't use "first girl" tropes to justify a winner here.
Oliver Watson
Take your pills, Ruifag.
Andrew James
>losing one includes technically Utsumi from good ending, with technically because it wasn't love but a crush. you can count it if you want, but know that when it comes to Tropes, Korukawa (Good ending winner) shares plenty with Hina
Connor Baker
Of course, there was a point to the breakup - to punish him and make him fall in line. She's done it before. I really hope Sasuga isn't trying to redeem Shuu. I think this arc Tougen Sensei may die but after he teaches Nat a lesson on quitting too soon. I hope he sees that he quit on the relationship with Nina too soon. This means we will see more Hana chan. I hope she isn't some late minute romantic interest.

Dosnt make much sense. Shuu had no reason to know about the Okinawa trip, and how would he know which room Hina and Natsuo are in? As for the photo, there was a bit showing the camera people going through the photos but someone overlooked the one with Natsuo and Hina. It was a second look through by a school member that caught Hina and Natsuo. Dont get me wrong, even high def camera cant get a good enough picture through a window at THAT distance, but there's too many factors for Shuu to be the one who did it, and Rui was with Alex and co so it couldnt be her.
just chalk it up to bad luck
Levi Parker
about what? the spoiler of Hina confessing and Natsuo rejecting her are confirmed fake.
John Wright
it really has been like that. Even the spoilers make things seem worse for Hina than they end up being, and last week was a massive 'winning trope' chapter of Natsuo and Hina and Ruifags still think it was a loser flag.
Thing is, there is going to be a losing chapter for Hina at some point. Not a total loss as in "she lost the bowl" but something along the lines that make make it seem unlikely they'll get together, and Rui fags will take it as a sign for victory, even when the next or following chapters will undermine it to put Hina on a clearer victory path again.
Jose Garcia
the OP also showed Natsuo drowning and someone reaching into the water and attempting to pull him up. Is that supposed to forshadow Hina bringing his dream of writing and happiness back?
Brandon Nelson
I'm starting to get tired of Sasuga releasing new chapters with trying to make both girl looks like they have equal chance desu. Preferred the manga to be simple like with KNIM and GE where the second breakup are obviously permanent and shift the focus back to the first. Meh, I'm just ranting because I want more Hina chapters.
Ayden Flores
>My prediction, rui and natsuo will come back together and realized both have moved on and love a another person at the end (chef and hina) not a bad one.
mine is that Hina wont confess until she talks with Rui, so they both talk and agree to hold nothing back. and we get chapters of both Hina and Rui with Natsuo.
As time goes on it will probobly get to the point that Natsuo or Rui will realize that they are better as family and that Natsuo is more happier with Hina. So Rui shows how much she's grown and moves on and this time agrees not to hate Natsuo for being with Hina.
Camden Stewart
same here. Its probobly because most followers on her twitter are Ruifags and wants to give Rui a proper defeat while making Hina win Natsuo in a way that gets as much approval as possible. she cant get everyone but i'm betting she'd still rather have more "I wanted Rui to win but i accept Hina winning" than "i want Rui to win fuck you for pairing her up with chef"
Liam Williams
if her intent is for Hina to lose though, she's doing an extremely bad job of it, and will make most of the story, the breakup of Rui and all the tropes pointless.
Matthew Jones
WHEN THE FUCK DOES THIS SHIT END ALREADY? I swear, I stopped reading last year and to this day it's still the same bullshit indecisive love triangle.

Jace Rogers
Shu will push Natsuo to realize all the shit Hina did for his ass He knows Hina secret about the school. Maybe he will open his eyes about who is always by his side when he needs it

Doubt Shuu wants to persue Hina at this point. He himself told Hina to be honest with her feelings for Natsuo. Feels like he will confess that he lied back then.
Jacob Jenkins
Shuu coming back only reinforces a hina end. Like we didn't have a gazillion hints all around already.
Christian James

Asher Walker
Your discords the opposite way, nigger.

I'm sure Ruifags will celebrate. But seriously, after telling Hina that she won't be happy if she isn't honest with herself about Natsuo it will be retarded writing to suddenly have Shuu chase after her now.
Angel Sanders
Nice, just a matter of time before Hina meets Tsutaya now.
Brandon Perez

Eli Jenkins
not self-inserting into natsuo for a moment:
WHY THE FUCK did everybody forget and forgive what rui did to natsuo? it‘s like she never broke up with him while he was at his lowest
kei you fucking hack
Asher Perry
Why is she still dragging this shit? We all know Hina will win cause of her suffering, and because Kei started this shit in order to write about the taboo relationship between a teacher/student.
Asher Smith
this will probobly be the start of Natsuo realizing that Hina always loved him. Shuu was the one who said Hina had moved on from Natsuo, and Rui took the opportunity to ask Natsuo if he would date someone else if Hina was. Along with Ruis advances and Shuus lie, Hina lied and that caused Natsuo to move on when he realized (falsely) that no matter what he accomplished or how long he waited, Hina had no intention of getting back together, which is why he moved on.
I'm thinking that This will be Shuu admitting he lied. its been a while since they last met but i doubt he has an intention of going after Hina. If he does he will probobly be asking Natsuo for permission, but this would just mirror Alexs asking for permission of Rui, in that Natsuo has no right to say no. And after last chapter, whats the point now that Hina isn't lying to herself? she'd just reject Shuu. So if Shuu isn't admitting to the lie, it will probobly be to tell Natsuo to set Hina free by properly rejecting her. but he has no right to Hina after lying to Natsuo and causing his shift in feelings.
If shuu does admit to the lie, then i think there will be a slow domino effect in the truth being revealed along with other events like the authors declining health. i rekon in coming chapters, when Rui comes back, in order to try and move on from her guilt and jealousy, she will admit to Natsuo that she knew Hina lied but kept it from him because it was what Hina wanted, making Natsuo more aware of Hinas sacrifice and love and undermining Rui's attempts to get back together. But all that is about the past and Natsuo has no way of knowing if Hina loves him now.
which is when the rings will most likely hit Natsuo the hardest and make him realize that Hina never stopped loving him and re ignites his feelings.
We didnt. Ruifags have. they make all kinds of excuses. examples:
>She broke up with him to inspire him to write again through suffering >She broke up to set him free from being burdened by long distance relationships. >She broke up so they can focus on themselves and make themselves better people >She broke up so Natsuo is not burdened from the long distance and needing to tell Rui everything, giving Natsuo the time to focus on himself and make himself better >She broke up to give them time to sort out their trust issues by rejecting the ones crushing on them >She broke up because Long distance was too hard on Natsuo and she set him free from its burden, still loving him and hoping they can get back together but without forcing him to choose to do so if she hurt him too much.
If any of these where actual legit reasons for breaking up with Natsuo, i'd like Rui more and wouldnt be upset at the thought of her winning. But the story is never discreet in its reasoning and directions so if it never made these reasons clear as day, it cant be any of them. sure, sasuga Could make one of them a reason later on, but all the reasons for the breakup are on chapter 216, and none of these are used.
as for Ruifags, they think Rui was cute in the relationship and thats all that matters and why they want her back with Natsuo.
Mason Ward
Because ruifags are horny af and still think their relationship can sustain by only being sex buddies.
Ethan Stewart
My question is; what is Shuu going to say? Is he finally going to go after Hina again and asks Natuos permission and because Natsuo doesnt really feel anything for her at the moment he gives Shuu his blessing to do so? Fuck that would suck.
Parker King
If anything, I think if it goes that way, it would make natsuo realize he still feels something for hina
Christian Ramirez

He won't. He will only confess about him lying.
Robert Hall
What are the chances here that Hina gets back with Shuu to try and forget Natsuo once and for all. Shuu was her first love after all so maybe she might think it'll work. A Hina end is obviously coming but I can unfortunately see Kei doing this for more shitty drama.
Jordan Ross
Again, just my threadly reminder that neither side should cry victory before the end.

Natsuo’s monologue during Misaki arc said that he could’ve ended up like Misaki after breaking up with Rui. A few chapter later Rui be like we agreed to spend some time apart. Either Sasuga’s treating the breakup as a joke now or we can expect the what the hell, hero? trope waiting for Rui.

I love that Rui still hasn't gotten over Natsuo. It will just make her BTFO much sweeter. She will have to settle for the second prize and Ruitards will get to seethe.
Domestic na kanojo 900: natsuo reveals that he had a love note with the power of trigering retarded romance drama all along, and was using it to string along the two sisters until their mind broke.
Jaxon Thompson
I know you anons are saying Shuu wont pull anything and hes gonna push Hina and Nat together or some shit but that's way too easy an outcome for this shit and I fully expect him to try to get back with Hina, for the sake of drama. Tbh I can see Kei actually making Shuu and Hina together and Nat and Rui together regardless if it makes sense. I'm fully expecting it unfortunately.
Nathan Bailey
Rui a best at being a shit
Jose Brooks
>I fully expect him to try to get back with Hina That plotline has been done and dusted. Even he himself had encouraged Hina to go after Natsuo when she was seeing the stalker dude. At least pretend to have read the manga.
David Young
Hina has rejected him too many times and that boat has long sailed into the abyss.
Jayden Young
If Sasuga simply let Rui move on with Chef, then when does Rui ever get to face the consequences for her actions? She needs to get rejected like the trash she is.
Jaxson Foster
Don't be so mean to Rui, she's not that bad either.
Ryder Walker
She is the main source of conflict in the story though because of her history of selfish choices.
Adam Ortiz
I'm a Hinafag myself but c'mon I don't you can disagree that Hina is the main source of all the tension and drama (whether by circumstances or luck) instead of Rui.
Colton Lee
This is possible. I don't want it to be but it is. Around now she needs to bring in a romantic interest for Hina as a backup. We haven't seen Shuu since before Tanabe arc. Does he know what happened - that Hina didn't marry, Tanabe turned out to be a stalker and that Natsuo got stabbed for Hina? I thought it strange that we heard nothing, that he didn't go to comfort Hina. Maybe he was away. He could very well seize the opportunity to go after her again. This could be Sasuga's way of making Hina 'happy' if Natsuo chooses Rui. No one can deny that Sasuga has been trying to redeem Shuu but in my book he is still a deceitful, arrogant, selfish pig who really shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Hina. The mere fact he was able to divorce his wife right after Hina broke up with him and him realising that Natsuo was his competition meant that he was lying all along that he couldn't divorce the wife - he just didn't have the will to do it.
Carter Ramirez
>meant that he was lying all along that he couldn't divorce the wife - he just didn't have the will to do it. Plus he was using his wife. Wasn't she the daughter of the university dean or something? Her father was some big shot school-wise from what I remember and may of had money as well.
Nathaniel Collins
Shuu is approaching Natsuo not Hina. The only logical reason would be to apologise to him for lying to him. If he was going after Hina there really is no need to tell Natsuo about it cause even Shuu knows they they have broken yup t since ages. This is pretty much Shuu redeeming himself but coming clean to Natsuo.
Grayson Cruz
I meant we haven't seen Shuu since right before things started to get really crazy during the Tanabe arc.
Levi Gutierrez
Sasuga has spent entire chapters showing how Rui was so much happier with Chef. The only reason Chef's on the backburner now is because Sasuga has to play out the final showdown between the sisters. Sasuga has never shown Hina to ever be happy with Shuu. Even when they were dating, Hina was miserable. There is no way Sasuga would just pull such a contrived ending where Hina ends up with Shuu, no matter how much of a hack you might claim her to be.
Leo Cook
Hina is not the source of tension. Shit happens to her beyond her control. Rui on the other hand is actively responsible for causing shit.
Bentley Martin
She's actually not that bad when she' sharing scenes with kajita but that's mostly because those are the ones where she acts like she's learned from her experiences.
Julian Allen
>I can see Kei actually making Shuu and Hina together and Nat and Rui together regardless if it makes sense You need to get that brain tumor of yours checked asap.
Mason Peterson
Understand that I hope that you are right - that this means nothing and this will be the last time we ever see Shuu but this mangaka also made Miyabi approach Hina right before she confessed to Natsuo. Nat and Hina had broken up a long time ago as well and there was no need to tell Hina. What it did do was start the ball rolling in her realising that Natsuo could be taken by someone other than Rui and maybe he was over Rui. This caused her to complain to Master who had that conversation with her with the double entendre,
Shuu could ask the same question that Miyabi did, basically signaling his intention to go after Hina again since Natsuo has no intention of doing so. This could set off a similar chain of events for Natsuo. This is just speculation and I want you to be right but I have to cater for the worst.
Carter Mitchell
Rui a shit
James Martin
Even if Shuu asked Natsuo for permission, the only plot purpose it would serve would be to push Natsuo towards Hina. Do you really foresee a plotline where Shuu just asks permission from Natsuo and he gives it and then never thinks about it again? If Shuu was indeed Hina's endgame, he would've approached Hina in every scenario. Approaching Natsuo completely kills that thread.
Jonathan Wilson
based
Jacob Cook
Also Miyabi only asked Hina for permission because she knew that she still held feelings for Natsuo. If Shuu does the same as Miyabi, the meta implies the same for Natsuo.
Alexander Phillips
I would never claim that Sasuga Kei is a hack. I wouldn't be reading her work almost every week if I thought so. I 100% agree with you about Shuu - he was horrible in that relationship with Hina - he lied to her to the point that the steadfast Hina fell out of love with him. He uses lies to get his way - even lying to and demoralizing a teenage boy that it affected Natsuo's dreams and ambitions, making him open up to accepting the substitute that was flaunting herself in front of him. The affects of Shuu's lie and conversation still, I believe, affect Natsuo to this day. I gave Shuu credit for checking on Hina while on the island, something that loverboy failed to do, even if secretly just to make sure she was alright. However, with Shuu like Rui, he always puts himself first and all actions have a self centered motive. He cannot make Hina happy.
I knew that Shuu would return, either to help or to hurt. Sasuga could very well use him to make Hina's fans riled up the way she did with Kajita and Rui's fans. Of course, Kajita only helped Rui and was a great guy unlike Shuu who broke Hina's heart over and over and was a disrespectful slime-ball.
Hunter Rivera
Whatever is the case I doubt he would conveniently come to tell him he lied earlier, if anything this coincides with the cruse, so maybe he saw/heard about them going together and wants to confirm if they got back together. And when Natsuo declines he can announce he wants to get together with her, not asking permission, just warn him.
Justin Green
But the thing is the last time we saw Shuu, he was encouraging Hina to not give up on Natsuo. I doubt he is going to do a sudden 180 without any on screen explanation or events. It would just be contrived writing.
Liam Mitchell
Rui a turd
Angel Jones
I am not talking about endgame here. I don't think I said it was about permission, I think it could be about just stating his intention, figuring out where Natsuo stands and basically telling him that if Natsuo doesn't want Hina that Nat should stay of of his way. I don't mind if Natsuo goes up against Shuu again but this time, because he has grown into a capable man, he can win. I want you to be right and that Shuu helps and leaves IMMEDIATELY but the conflict it would cause if he did try to pursue Hina would be hard for any writer to resist.
Jason Martinez
Rui sucks
Luis Watson
It would still not make any sense because the last time we saw Shuu he had realised that Hina could only be happy with Natsuo and had encouraged to pursue him.
James Clark
well yeah, in one of the .5 chapters she in fact did.
Luke Carter
Chef soon
William Campbell
What I'm curious about is what's the point in Togen getting ill? Sasuga introducing an arc for Natsuo?
Hunter Garcia
He and Hina are going to help Natsuo get his writing back. He will probably also die.
Gavin Ward
HINA A BEST RUI A SHIT
Daniel Ramirez
>He and Hina are going to help Natsuo get his writing back. Doesnt that just reaffirm that Hina is gonna win? Her helping Natsuo get his writing back works incredibly in her favour.
Daniel Gomez
Yeah no shit.
Jose Carter
On the mountain, Togen Sensei told Natsuo that he needed to learn about when to quit on something when Natsuo told him that Togen had never experienced a writer's block. I have been interested in what he meant ever since.he said so. I'm really happy that Hina will be introduced to Natsuo's mentor - that has to mean something good. Did it mean that Natsuo quit on Hina too soon?
Jason Smith
>Yeah no shit. Eh I'll believe it when I see it. Sasugas a hack so even if anything seems like the way it should go, it probably wont. Like with Shuu, I hope hes gonna tell Natsuo that he lied or something similar, but the logical part of me thinks that hes gonna try to get Hina back. As let's be honest what shes doing right now isn't healthy because she cant Express it and it's making her sad as fuck and I think Shuu will see that and want her to move on, unlike last time where he said she couldnt be happy without Natsuo. Maybe this time he thinks she needs to move on to be happy.
Luke Baker
Maybe, well I personally have to look at all sides. It's been over a year and nothing has happened. If Shuu could make up for what he did to Natsuo, it would be nice. There's lots of stuff that doesn't make sense or maybe I don't understand. When Hina started her sister act, it was a conscious act not to cause more trouble for the family because Master warned her that she could be hated. She channeled her romantic love into just being there for him as a sister. Just before the book is published, she was praying at the shrine and started asking for her and Natsuo to get back together. She stopped herself, remembering her promise. Did Hina really delude herself? On the other hand, it means that she didn't consciously lie to Miyabi or Master about only acting as a sister.
Eli Rogers
The other part of this is that it's all for nothing if Natsuo isn't in love with and doesn't want to go back to being Hina's lover. She may only be happy that way but Nat has to want that too.
The worst part of all of this is why would Rui get a second chance and I feel she will when Hina did not.
Chase Martinez
Rui will win
Jackson Cook
The Kajitabowl.
Landon Evans
No, the Natsuobowl
Ethan Adams
Tachibowlana
Tachibana would be used for both Hina and Rui just like Cleganebowl for GoT.
Bentley Young
i think so too. In fact, i think Hina meeting both the author and editor just reinforces that Shes the wife that the editor is asking Natsuo to write about.
Kevin Mitchell
Either he's going to admit he lied about Hina "moving on" or something unrelated. Its unlikely he's going to go after Hina since last time he knew her feelings about Natsuo, and whats the point after 241 when Hina is no longer lying about being in love with Natsuo?
Even if he did ask for permission and Natsuo says yes, its most likely going to be in the same breath of Alex asking permission to date Rui. Natsuo has no say. Even so, Natsuo was not happy at the thought of Hina having an arranged marriage and Hina being with Another man when she dated stalker, and that was before he realized something was wrong. so if he did give permission, its likely he's going to be shown being uncomfortable with it.
Personally, i thought that Misaki and Shuu could make a better couple since she was introduced. I was right about her being a druggy, Marie saving her and Natsuo, and Misaki working at the cafe. i could be right about this.
He can do both. He's just not in a position to tell if Hina still loves him or not since too much time has passed for him to know.
Ryder Murphy
She wont unless Natsuo rejects her. Just like Rui and Kajiba, she wont date another man if she still has feelings for Natsuo
Grayson Wood
it goes both ways. depending on who the focus of the chapter is.
Jonathan Rodriguez
>Rui winning would be the ultimate asspull plot twist It really would be. Thinking back, she hasn't done much to develop herself as a person to be a better fit for Natsuo. If the breakup really was for then she should of shown some progress, but the only progress we see is her happiness with Kajita. if there was more to show her developing would make her a better girlfriend then there'd be less issues, but we havnt seen anything to support her being a better girlfriend. maybe in the future but right now, it would be a total asspull.
And looking back on the rejections of Kajita and Miyabi, Rui rejected Kajita because she still has feelings for Natsuo, while 'admitting she and Kajita would be happy and make a good couple. thats like an round about admission that she likes him more than a friend, while also rejecting him on the grounds that she still has feelings for someone else and hasn't moved on 'yet', with 'yet' being the keyword.
For Miyabi, Natsuo rejected her on the grounds that he can only like her as a friend. there was no sign of Rui being a factor in his decision or any lingering feelings. the only reason he had doubts was because of how 'into character he got. If Rui was a factor for rejecting Miyabi, like Natsuo was for Kajita, then Natsuo being together with Rui wouldnt be so far fetched, but right now, nothing really supports it other than a brife phone call where he talks to her more like a sibling than love interest.
Hunter Young
I think you mean NatsuoxHina-fag.
but also, so is the mother it seems.
Adrian Powell
>Natsuo’s monologue during Misaki arc said that he could’ve ended up like Misaki after breaking up with Rui. dont forget he also had writers block. the breakup just left him with no support since Hina couldnt help him without admitting her feelings. thats probobly why shes talking to the author now.
>A few chapter later Rui be like we agreed to spend some time apart. i forgot about that. I just re read 216, there is nothing there about "some time". Rui is just making stuff or is so bad at breakups she forgot to tell Natsuo that its supposed to be temporary.
>Either Sasuga’s treating the breakup as a joke now or we can expect the what the hell, hero? trope waiting for Rui. i Think only Rui is being made to treat the breakup as a joke. her actions show she has little consideration for the pain Natsuo went through, but then again, its not like she knows. Still she has no shame in getting back together after dumping him when he was already depressed so thats an issue. Just goes to so how immature Ruis handling of issues are. that even if she broke up so they could improve themselves, she missed the point of what a break up means and the sadness it causes.
As for the hero trope, it looks like Hina is working on it, saving Natsuo from the drug gang, holding onto his writing dream and now talking to people to help him revitalize his writing passions again.

you never know. Now that Kajita confessed and Rui still has weeks before going back to Japan, she may arrive having her feelings changed but still spend time with Natsuo just to make sure and have no doubt that she's moved on. i doubt Sasuga will BTFO of Rui but still make her and Natsuo admit the breakup was for the best and that they've moved on. she wont buttslam the Ruifags.
Jack Cruz
Rui is only a best when shes a sister to Natsuo and a love interest to Kajita. Being with Natsuo made her shit and once she moves on, she will be a better person for it.
i think your just pessimistic. Anything is possible, sure, but story wise Shuu has hardly been in the story and when he was, its always established that Hina was in love with Natsuo.
Besides, Hina was not happy with Shuu and became less happy as time dragged on. She may of been her first love but that only made it difficult to let go, just like with Rui. and after 241, it would be a major turn around for Hina to be with Shuu. even now she's doing things on Natsuos behalf.
not impossible, but extremely unlikely.

>Plus he was using his wife. Wasn't she the daughter of the university dean or something? Her father was some big shot school-wise from what I remember and may of had money as well. it hasnt been established that Shuu was using the wife. only that the dean pushed him into marrying the daughter and Shuu felt indebted and obligated to marry her. he did love her, but the love faded when they had to stick with each other.

this. Rui's actions caused alot more tension and drama and she has never owned it. Hina does, has guilt and was willing to dump Natsuo for Ruis sake. both are accountable, but Rui is a lot more shamless and selfish. she was selfless before dating Natsuo but after...well... and now the breakup and she still wants to get back together...yea...

>I have to cater for the worst. me too bud.
but still, Shuu asking for permission to date Hina would be like Alex asking for permission to date Rui. Natsuo has no right to object.
but so much time has passed since Shuu was seen, and he knew then that Hina loved Natsuo and encouraged her to 'be honest with herself' otherwise she cant be happy.
If Shuu was going to be an obstacle, he should of been featured a lot more, like with Kajita. just once in a while or something. But too much time has passed and we have no idea what he's up to in life. i think he's moving/leaving Japan and wants to leave Natsuo with the truth so the lie dosnt eat at him with guilt.
Jack Miller
>However, with Shuu like Rui, he always puts himself first and all actions have a self centered motive. He cannot make Hina happy. Just like how Rui could not make Natsuo happy. i think Shuu and Rui's actions mirrored each other a lot
Kayden Russell
>Did it mean that Natsuo quit on Hina too soon? pretty much. but then you have to take in that Shuu lied, Rui made advances, and Hina lied. it was an accumilation of things that made Natsuo move on and the heartache just pushed him overboard.
James Green
i think that Togens death will help Natsuo get back into writing along with Hinas help.
Just like the mothers death made him like books and made him dream of being a writer.

>i think he's moving/leaving Japan and wants to leave Natsuo with the truth so the lie dosnt eat at him with guilt. See now this I'd like. But this being the type of manga it is, I'm expecting something worse. I still think hes gonna pursue Hina again. Mark my words.

>Not even a single doujin comes from c96 what went wrong? what went wroooooong?!
Levi Long
I think most series that are already famous for having some smut rarely get that many doujin, if any at all.

i get it. its just that Sasuga has a style of writing in that what is eventually established is hinted and troped at throughout multiple arcs.
Natsuo and Hina being together Natsuo and Rui being together Natsuo and Rui rejecting Alex and Momo Momo and Rickon being together Miyabi and Kajita crushing/confessing Natsuo and Rui breaking up Hina admitting she loves Natsuo
All of these had signs of happening over the course of several chapters and arcs. with the biggest and constant one being a NatsuoxHina ending that has been troped at from the beginning, throughout the relationship with Rui, and even now they still get troped for it.
Even RuixKajita has been given tropes and signs it will happen eventually. the rejection, while valid, was also predictable and came off as light and open compared to the Miyabi rejection which came of as permanent.
So for Shuu to do anything is just not really conceivable since the last time we saw him suggested Shuu himself that he now supports Natsuo and Hina (or at least Hina). If more was done as consitantly as Kajita (sparingly but still there) then yea, Shuu could be trying to take Hina, but since he's not, its just seems unlikely based on Sasugas writing style. the biggest surprises that no one can predict usually come from the newly introduced characters that have no prior mention, like Misaki.
i'm not saying your wrong, anything can happen, just that its unlikely and even if it does happen, there is too much in the story to suggest that it will still lead to Natsuo and Hina being together at the end. The most Shuu can do is become a Rui-like obstacle, but one neither Hina or Natsuo will be guilty about undermining.
besides. i think Shuu and Misaki would make a better couple. dunno why, but i see it more clearly for some reason.

did rui get chef'd yet?
Jaxson Hill
nah. despite always being happy around him and admitting she and Kajita make a good match, she still has feelings for Natsuo and hasnt been able to move on yet.
