Isn't this guy supposed to be the """best""" servant? why is he always jobbing?
Isn't this guy supposed to be the """best""" servant? why is he always jobbing?
Because Nasu sucks big doo doo
Because the good guys also have to win.
The whole point of a strong antagonist is to lose. That's not "jobbing" you mong.
He's the strongest servant. Not the best one.
something something massive ego something overconfident leads to jobbing
Because he's an idiot.
his brain still functions on ancient sumerian logic
cheating zasshu wouldn't understand what it is to be the king
That's bad writing.
Literally the only time in F/SN that he lost to someone weaker than him is in UBW cause, you know, his ego. In Fate, Avalon shielded Saber then she killed him by Excalibur. Avalon is literally the strongest defense NP. In HF no servants can do shit against the shadow. Even in UBW, though Shiro cut off Gil's arm, the battle was not over. The grail saved Shiro ass by sucking Gil, then Archer came for the headshot
Why is UBW considered the best route in FSN?
Playing through the VN now I'm legitimately surprised people think UBW is the best route; 70% of it is bogged down by Caster, literally the least interesting servant in the war, and 20% of it is exposition and Grail shenanigans that is done better in HF. The remaining 10% is actually about Archer, Kiritsugu and Shirou and legitimately interesting, but they bog so much of it in this basic shit. Gil won't even wear his armor, Gil won't even attack seriously until its too late, every single thing was in Shirou's favor since that's the only way Nasu could write Shirou winning. Also Rin somehow gets more development in Fate and HF, despite UBW being her route
Battle of ideals in UBW is what makes people like it the most. In Fate and HF, the romance element becomes too important to the story.
Because UBW is the "Emiya Shirou" route. It's the route that focuses on the protagonist himself. It is not a surprise why people that has experienced the story through the eyes of Emiya Shirou enjoyed UBW the best.
Fate gets a lot of the exposition and simple shit out of the way for their to be way more action and complexity in the other routes. UBW just doesn't work that well without Fate, neither does HF.
Because that's what jobbing means. You hype someone up as super strong and then have them lose to demonstrate the power of the new character. If someone weak loses, it's not jobbing.
He could've beat Saber with Avalon if it wasn't for his ego too.
Merlin is the strongest servant actually
Even Ebuma Elish coulnt touch Saber when she used Avalon. Gil cant do shit against her when it is activated.
He's not even the strongest grand caster and pic related lmao
That's bullshit how is Lancelot unbeatable?
just wait for babylonia, the jobber dies like 3 times
>reputedly
>Because UBW is the "Emiya Shirou" route. It's the route that focuses on the protagonist himself.
What about HF?
She still had to activate it at the right time and use it accordingly.
It's not an instant button win secondary
He was always jobbing in the Epic and always needed Enkidu's help in order to solve problems because he sucks hard as a solo fighter.
Fate route -> Prologue of Fate , Childish of
Emiya Shiro
UBW -> I'll make my dream come true . Impossible ? fuck you Archer
Heaven's Feel -> Emiya Shiro become adult
He face realistic , Fuck dream or Idealism
,Hero of Justice
I'll Protect only one (Sakura)
