If they did theoretically make a Fate adaptation I'd like for them to try to stick closer to the VN artstyle more. I'm thinking something in between Emiya-Gohan and the DEEN style but with way less QUALITY. I'd want them to try a recapture that early-2000-visual-novel aesthetic as opposed to this new hyper-computer created Marvel CU style shenanigans. I just think that most F/SN adaptations have gotten too dark and gritty and it wouldn't really do the Fate route story proper justice as it isn't nearly as dark of a route, we just got done with the darkest route HF, and I'm just plain sick of the grim-dark edginess that FSN is going towards. The Fate route is probably the lightest and most whimsical/fantastical route and ufotable might not actually be the best studio for the job.

The Fate route just wouldn't fit right with what we have seen from ufotable's adaptations so far.

fate route is world building for servants and some magic. Impossible to animate the route without info dumping but knowing ufotable they will probably just remove it and wow people with budget.

Seriously how the fuck is this so good? How did he write a single, cohesive, original, entertaining story laden with tropes which whilst entertaining in their own right are there as pathways into and often deliberate misdirects and distractions from the more complicated grand underlying themes, philosophies and questions. Making each of the 3 story lines more and more complicated, meaningful and impactful as you experience each one? Just extraordinary. UBW & Heaven's Feel casts everything else in the story in a new light, offering new insights and possibilities. It allows for a ridiculous amount of fun interpretation and head canon too.
I mean the guy has written some absolute trash nonsense since releasing Fate Stay Night, but that game, these animes are just fucking extraordinary. Every time it feels like a generic hero fantasy he introduces an aspect to the characters, history, world, etc that provides new context and complications. Even his tropes are top notch, if all you want is a fun, action filled harem type fantasy with engaging memorable seemingly tropey girl characters then it offers that. If you want to spend hours deliberating over what actually drives each character it offer than too.
It appeals to the harem anime fan and the literature critic.
Fate Stay Night is in my opinion the best visual novel. How he wrote this by himself, and figured out it's the kind of story that can only ever be really expressed in one format as a VN is amazing. What a work of fucking genius. Then we've been blessed with these anime. Even if the original anime butchered the main storyline a bit.

First off, Miura gets a lot of resentment from Saberfags because he's the primary reason Ufotable adapted UBW as opposed to Fate. Second, Miura is hardcore flash-over-substance. His strong point is action sequences, and he's basically the reason for that flashy fight/chase sequence between Lancer and True Assassin in HF1, as he's the one who directed it. Even if shit doesn't make sense in the context of Fate, he'll still do it as long as it's flashy. Hence why Shirou was jumping around like fucking Spider-Man in the fight against Gil.

how would a F/HA anime work though? It's mainly groundhog day loops and the story jumps from comedy to being serious fairly quickly.

People actually loved it back when it was airing. But then the VN got translated and they realized that the DEEN adaptation fucked up some things. Also, no one ever liked what they did with Sakura, ever.

Zero just put it to shame and now it pales in comparison

It wouldn't be too hard, presumably just handled similarly to how the VN did it. Serious Bazett/Avenger episodes that end on a cliffhanger, then cut back to the Shirou slice-of-life. These lasts until Shirou hits a serious plot relevant scene, like him getting killed by Archer, discovering Caren in the park, etc. Then it switches back to Bazett/Avenger. Repeat.

It's mostly just a balance of which daily life scenes will be included. Can't spend too long on these sections, but it needs enough to get the point across for when its revealed that Avenger is actually just enjoying something he never had.

To be fair, bondage Sakura was at least a well-intentioned attempt to give her a larger role in Fate, even if it was an absolutely incompetent trainwreck. Later adaptations like CP and Zero had the directors shoehorn in their personal malice towards her in incredibly unprofessional ways.

Most of the scenes are disconnected. You'd do one scene, then move onto a completely unrelated scene.

It's not hard to force some kind of continuity between scenes. Like, Shirou goes to the market and encounters Caster, stops by the park on the way and sees Saber playing soccer, etc.

Continuity is only half the issue. The main problem is that most of the scenes are just random slice-of-life. So you'd have a show that plays out like a comedic slice-of-life most of the time, but suddenly gets serious every now and again. Plus, how would you even pace that? There are roughly 70 "Hollow" scenes, many of which happen on different days. Even if you cut out or condense the non-essential parts, Fate/hollow ataraxia really doesn't lend itself well to a proper show at all.

Even if you broke Hollow down to the most essential elements, you'd still have to deal with:
