Most sane people don't participate in these non-new chapter threads, it's probably 75% shitposters and waifufags in this "in-between" threads unfortunately. Not specific to HxH, it's like that for all series with large fanbases.

The structure of this arc hasn't really been suited for too much action so far and of course a lot of us still believe this arc is in the "calm before the storm" phase with all characters and angles Togashi's playing but it's not like fights and conflict aren't going to happen. The thing is, that's always the case with HxH, that's why there's never many fights. There aren't going to be many fights in this arc if any, it's all going to unravel through diplomacy, subterfuge and indirect means as that's the theme of the arc. This is a politics arcs, it's ridiculous to even think there's going to be signficant action or chaos down the road.

That is about it.

It is more political than most Shonen arcs, but it is clearly not Togashi's intention to make it political. If he wanted that, he would have probably given a speech to all the characters. Like he gave speeches to the characters in the Election arc (which was clearly more political).

I put Heavens Arena so high because of its introduction of Nen and Hisoka having some great moments. It's probably the most "Shounen" arc of the series but it's great buildup to Yorknew. I also won't put Dark Continent because I want to wait until it's done or at least we see the potential climax, though I am enjoying what we have thus far.
