It greatly saddens me that the anime wasn't more popular in Japan. Considering the tropes, designs, and music, you would have expected it to have done better, but nope. I guess it was another example of Konomi jinxing an anime.

Sounds like a good harem to me. Harems rare have the balls to actually make a harem ending so why even making an effort to show that girls other than the main one have a chance for winning

Kind of feel sorry for Konomi though. Almost every show she's sang for (including this one) either flopped, was poorly received, or both. It's to the point that even 5ch and other Japanese anime fans are joking about it.

Kinda sad how they let it flop, yet nips shamelessly eat garbage like the isekai shit magician.

Cramming 5 volumes in 1 season was not the best of ideas.

Plenty of other series did that before and they turned out fine. Didn't DAL S1 adapt something like four or five novels?

Aren't rokuaka novels quite popular though? I though that the anime at least boosted LN sales

It did, but the novels aren't exactly huge sellers even after the anime.

Could be worse, they crammed something like 7/8 volumes into flags adaptation. Hence why it made so little sense.

5 in the harem: Mommy, shironeko, blueberry, cute blondie, and some side character bitch who probably got Glenn's first girlfriend killed to open up the position. Of the 5, shironeko is the obvious win, but blondie has the slim possibility as an upset win probably not though as she generally seems content to let shironeko cuck her
