this, especially eren disappointed me the most from all of them. just when you thought he finally experiences a surprising character growth, it only lasts for 2-3 chapters and he regresses back to your generic ragetard with muh ambitious motifs and all the pay off to that was just the lame path shenanigan we got in the last chapter, completely predictable and cringy at times (when he once again repeated his annoying catch phrases that he was born into this world, which just felt forced and out of place)

Per actual canon, not your head canon, the Ackerman power is that they can access titan-like powers in their human body through paths when ordered to in the heat of the moment like when Eren commanded Mikasa. It does not mean that they obey every command like a slave, that they are unable to betray/go against the person who gave them the order/that they are perma-bonded/in love with the person giving the order/that they can't get an order from somebody else. If they were slaves why were they hunted to near extinction for failing to obey the royal family? Couldn't they just slave command them in that case?
