SO should have either stayed completely disconnected from the main series, or been a mandatory read. Instead it follows an awkward compromise and as a result the way you perceive Bell's relationship with Ais and other Loki Familia members depends on whether or not you're reading the spinoff. I guarantee that someone who reads SO would describe Bell's and Ais' relationship differently than someone who doesn't. And let's not even get started about Lefiya, who pops in and out of existence depending on which version of events you follow, because the main series isn't allowed to acknowledge that Bell works part-time as a gay-curing therapist for a tsundere elf.
