But I am not. Easier than you think, just have to start download fast enough. Apparently muted track is a different file that link redirects/playlists switch to. I have incomplete Day 2 vod open in smplayer right now and can scroll to any point without mute. Opening the same url again in another player instance has muted audio. I don't want to ping the servers every second all day every day - if there is a public push notification api I'd rather try it, but also I want to check how exactly twitch playlists work so anyone could grab finalized but unmuted vods at any time. For some reason there's 5-10% filesize reduction and better compatibility with shit players.
