There are plenty of single pages that have good jokes, comfy character moments, nice flow, or great scenery. But the closest I've seen in any of these threads is either replies to someone's page with better stuff from that manga, or that one overrated Vagabond spread.

one page threads are kind of their own thing, a series can be great but every single individual page doesn't have the impact that makes it stand out enough to post here
many jokes have several pages of build up so posting one page is wasted because usually only the punchline page is posted which comes off as boring
horror and cute girls are immediate emotional triggers

Retard, the single pages I posted were better than anyone else's prior pages without any context. I made no claims about the series the pages come from. Even though I really like Bakuman, 3D Kanojo, and Komi-san, the rest of the series I posted are fairly mediocre. Made in Abyss, Henshin Ganbo, and Koe no Katachi (even though that one was posted after I already started my dump) are definitely better than manga like Fire Force or Prunus Girl.
