Great series, but it had a set timer from the get go, Koro-sensei already said from the get go for how long he would've taught the class. Kimetsu so far only had two major objectives: cure Nezuko and kill Muzan, both objectives don't really have a set timer, it could be extended indefinitely if the author wants.
