Yeah, for children

The visual effects are what you use for comedy in kid shows though. The tears flooding half the eyes are pretty much looney tunes physics.

Yes, because it is a show for children

Its an anime for children inspired by comic books for children

And it is.

When you use looney tunes physics, it kills the drama.

The tears are a bit much, but exaggeration != comedy. I'd agree that out of context they look silly but in the context of the moment they're expressive and convey the weight of his sadness.

He's talking about windows Tile opened but still having the video up in front like bruh.
Might as well have pepsi amd condoms advertising in there

Shit you're right. Egregious error, completely ruins the scene.

all shonens are garbage with no exceptions. also remove jojo and aot you mongrel

>also remove jojo and aot
Why? They're shounen.

OP is dead inside.

OP is supposed to be straight.

Not JoJo anyways...

Yes. Reminder, this is the most important dramatic moment in the most successful manga.

The face always gets me after reading it but when I first read it I felt pretty sad probably one of the few character deaths that I actually felt

wow that guy is hungry

Jojo was shounen until Part 7.

They're better than most moe-trash atleast.

Stop making excuses, it's moments like these that make viewers complain about Deku being an annoying crybaby. They're just too cartoonish, he's like a joke character, yet the series expects us to take him seriously as the main character.

A lot of defenders like excuse Deku as going against the stereotype that boys don't cry many other male characters cried before. Sure boys are allowed to cry but at least cry with dignity like this.

He is a kid and I felt bad for him.
