You know what would be absolutely savage? If Kubo made a sequel to Bleach where he pairs up Ichigo and Rukia together in fights and makes them spend a lot of time interacting again. Then he throws some drawings and facial expressions that the dumb fangirls interpret as romance and all those ircucks start theorising again how Ichigo and Rukia will finally have a romance, despite having other matrial partners. They regret burining their shit and claim that the sequel is the best thing ever, buy even more shit for the next 5 years or so and then AGAIN get cucked up the asshole by Ichigo again loving only Orihime or some shit.

A lot of people hate Fullbring actually, I loved it personally, felt a lot like old pre-soul society Bleach, definitely a nice change of pace after Mexico, especially if you had read its shit tier pacing while it was going on.

I think at the beginning it was genuine, Bleach had legit naval battle not unlike Naruto's, with people being engaged in their parings and lots of bad blood resulting. But yeah, anyone still hunting for "ichirukitears" after fucking three years is just fucking obsessed.

Yeah I don't get the hate for the Fullbring arc desu. Kubo clearly intended it to be the post-timeskip analogue of the Substitute Shinigami arc, the start of the next chapter in the series. Did people seriously expect FKT-level battles and shit right off the bat?

I wouldn't compare the two. "Substitute Shinigami arc" is a series of short stories, but this is legit single story arc that went for over a year. And it kinda dragged until Tsukishima's mindrape. Kubo was going at suspense here, but no one believed we'd get Ichigo actually turning on Urahara/Isshin/SS, so the only issue was "is Ginjo a bad guy", but not that many people cared about him. And then it shat the bed right after it with Shinigami's return. Ultimately it really feels like Bleach's version of Cell arc with both sides making unreasonable decisions to drive the plot forward even though it could end in 3 chapters or so.
