What about the nub feet?

Look up some recipes, learn the basics of cooking, try to git gud at making a white sauce to start off your pasta dishes with, know when your noodles are "Al-Dente", and store your food properly.
It takes practice and a bit of commitment to cook wholesome meals everyday. I know for the first few years I tried to cook I had trouble following through on my plans. You just need to discipline yourself and set aside time in your day for cooking prep so you're not rushing to whip a meal together at the last second.
Another thing I highly recommend is to talk to your relatives and especially your elders about the recipes they use. I'm a firm believer in the idea that family recipes should be passed down from generation to generation, I managed to find some absolute gems that I cook regularly after asking the still alive grandparents on both sides of the family. Managed to get my great-grandmother's cookbook and a few recipes dating back to the late 1800s.

Adding onto this, I could share some recipes with you if you'd like. Just keep the thread alive till tomorrow morning.

Technically, the house belongs only to Mikochi, but Hakumei is allowed to live there rent-free, and they constantly refer to the house and everything in it as "theirs".

In one of the side things there's an interview with Mikochi and they ask why she's not married yet, and she explains that she's actually pretty happy with her life as it is but if Hakumei would ask she would be happy that way too. It's so damn wholesome.

Other than the separate beds and the fact that a single moment of actual non-yurigoggles romance is ever shown or mentioned between them. Realistically, if they were actually any kind of romantic love or relationship between them it would have been made perfectly clear by now, but as it is it's nothing more than a running background joke.

Not if you know their history. Hakumei was a wandering vagrant who was taken in by the kindly Mikochi, who stuck around because it's a stable and comfortable place in a great location that's near everyone and everything. Hakumei has her own set of skills that Mikochi doesn't and she puts a lot of time and work into maintaining the place, with that comes concept of ownership because Mikochi relies on her to take care of those kinds of things. So yes, I would have to say people can in fact do that while not banging.
Occam's razor, "they're totally in love even though we've never seen it and they've never mentioned it even though they don't have sex" doesn't hold up very well to them simply being best friends who share a place.

Just to clarify, I do want to say I'm not one of the militant anti-yurifags you see around, I just find it as groanworthy as any normal person would when people try to shove it into a series where there flat out isn't any, if there was I'd fully understand but there simply isn't.

I think the easiest explanation is their relationship being intentionally ambiguous, if we're talking Occam's razor.

I don't see the ambiguity, I just see an occasional running gag to be one hundred percent honest with you. I'll eat my words if at any point a chapter is released in which one or both of them clearly expresses romantic love for the other with no room for misinterpretation, but even at this point we're still nowhere near anything like that. Simplest and most likely situation as of now, they're best friends who live together. I won't say it's impossible for that to change, though.
