What's the deal with Melvin?
I don't know, but I've heard good things. Just waiting for an English dub.
Too bad Waver is the MC.
Cute blonde and mysteries
>your opinion of this character
In need of one of the hardest dickings ever given to a thirsty Fate loli.
I like it.
Why up with Ms Adashino
I really like that despite being so smug she is really a considerate person who cares a lot about people around her.
Also cute and funny
I liked how she spent this episode just sat at a desk on the phone
>English dub
Thirsty girl stuck with gay MC.
According to the other thread he is an elf??
Your magic circuits are probably trash anyways
He's really cute.
wish it were the luvia+sisigo case files
It's a refreshing change of pace from Apocrypha. It makes good use of the more likable supporting characters from several series, and the interesting aspects of the setting that usually get overshadowed by Holy Grail War nonsense.
I'm kind of worried that they'll kill off Liongo at the end of this, it's not like he's in anything outside of Apocrypha, is he?
holy shit there's a servant now? How the fuck?
My one gripe with the arc they decided to adapt first is that it gives the impression that the story is yet more servant wank, when there's ony one servant in two of 5 arcs.
Case Files isn't the type of show that would get more than one cour.
yeah their being a servant seems dumb. I was hoping this series would stay away from servant shit. I think I actually prefer the filler to this arc.
For once in my life, I hope for the fujos to personally fund several seasons of something.
Scooby Doo: Where's my mystery
Naturally a soon as I saw the lightning I knew waver would cut his hair off, it is only common sense.
>caring about people's anime watching preferences in 2019
It’s cool that he has a practical reason for having such long hair
Same reason he smokes, the cigars are mystic codex and the smoke is used for magecraft.
I would say that two more cours would be enought to finish the whole story.
They're not gonna go back and do the stories they skipped.
I'm watching it as is but I'll re-watch when a dub comes out.
You can't have an anime take place in the UK and not watch the english dub of it.
Probably not given they used the original episodes to fill the relevant thematic ideas presented there. They even did the whole "Gueldoa and Wills' dad were sponsored by someone" angle that it's to make up for the lack of our mastermind shadow involvement in the two first cases.
They’ll just use americans anyway
So when did the Black Keys go from "hard to handle weapon that only weirdos like Ciel and Kirei use" to "Church standard-issue sidearm"?
weren't they always standard fare for Executors?
really hoping she's a pseudo/demi-servant and Hephaestion is actually a twink or bara guy and not actually female in the Fate universe
I want to love and headpat her.
It's sad that waver is gay.
It's nominally their standard weapon, but nobody actually likes to use them.
They're a basic weapon that are easy to conceal and carry. Any Executor will carry a few of them, even if they don't particularly like them. Only members of the Burial Agency can utilize them to their maximum effect, and only Roa and Ciel, being heretics who can utilizes thaumaturgy despite being members of the Church, can use their full potential.
You can see that he's actually using it wrong. Black Keys are thrown weapons. They're not designed to be used defensively.
They're standard equipment, but due to how difficult they are to wield and master, most members prefer not to use them.
>Kotomine gives Shirou a black key to use in HF
>It immediately shatters and was entirely fucking useless
I bet he did that as a joke.
They have literally always been that
It's all he has. Kotomine doesn't really have any special weapons or sacraments. Aside from the shroud used to cover Shirou's arm and a few Black Keys, the only other weapons he has are some SMGs.
Reins is cute but I like Olga more
angry/vulnerable types hit all my buttons
JESUS CHRIST WAVER STOP BEING A FAG AND FUG THAT POOR GIRL ALREADY! SHE'S BEEN TRYING EVERYTHING AND YOU KEEP CRUSHING HER LITTLE SMUGCOVERED FRAGILE HEART, READ BETWEEN THE LINES THAT SHE'S A GIRL, MIGHT BE A SADIST BUT FUCKING NOTICE ALREADY YOU GAY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!
was that ok?
>this character
Thought she was going to be an irredeemable little shit. Instead, she turned into one of the best characters.
>her show
Magic Sherlock is a comfy change of pace from the waifufaggotry and worm threads. This is the side of the Nasuverse that isn't a thumping, cancerous growth and I love it.
Kotomine actually uses them quite efficiently
Church agents actually uses them quite efficiently.
guess Gil might spawn gay bulge, but only if you train like Lancer you might be actually worth anything with it,
>Church agents actually uses them quite efficiently.
No they don't. Most of them don't like using them at all.
We already saw Hephaestion, Eumenes, Ptolomy and Parmenion.
being honest, turbant guy could be Poros.
>not listening to Grey cutely referring to herself as sessha
Shit taste.
What does Yea Forums think of Tsukihime?
That it's a masterpiece that is unfortunately overshadowed by it's perpetual money-making machine of a younger brother.
>it's perpetual money-making machine of a younger brother.
Arcuied and Shiki's relationship is a simple one, being of mutual lust and attraction and isn't a perfect as they fight, argue, and have a lions share of misunderstandings and disagreements throughout her route. Arcueid while naive doesn't fully trust Shiki and more than once calls him a monster early on and gets irritated when he's reluctant to jump into action with her even going as far as to threaten his and his family's life if he doesn't accept working with her and Shiki struggles with his growing attraction to Arcueid, treating her far more cruelly than most characters(san Arihiko) until he comes to terms with those feelings and Arc getting influenced by Shiki's humanity and growing protective of him realizing his fragility but they grow to trust and love one another throughout the course of the route and their parting scene is genuinely one of the best written scenes I've read. With Ciel they're more equal and mutually tease one and flirt with one another Ciel is investigating and watching Shiki to see if he's Roa and when the revelation is revealed a lot of details of their interactions early in the route become more sorrowful up until their fight in the hallway where Shiki's willing to let Ciel kill him but refuses to die hating her even if everything up until that point between them might have been a lie. There's also the aspect of Shiki (surface level) normalcy is something Ciel wanted but could never have because of Roa's possessing her ruining her life and any semblance of normal happiness she could of had
Why do the Near Side routes get so much hate?
he's a jetfag
:)
Dunno man. I feel like Ciel's route in particular never really gets appreciated. Personally it's my favorite, as I really love the constant sense of uncertainty regarding Ciel's true nature. Is she your intrusive, well-meaning Senpai? Or a cold executor of the Church? That final scene in particular really resonates with me.
:(
What?
Why is her hair a Christmas tree?
After Alex's death, which realm did these generals rule?
We know Ptolomy went to Egypt, and Eumenes to Anatolia. Hephastion died early.
Who got Persia? Who got Macedonia/Greece?
IIRC:
Parmenion died before Alex.
Seleucus got Persia.
Cassander had most of Greece and Macedon, Lysimachus got Thrace, Asia Minor and a tiny part of Macedon
Thanks user.
And I suppose everyone allied against Alex's son except Eumenes?
Does Reiness ever send Waver to conversion therapy?
Do note that Cassader wasn't a general himself, but son of Antipater who died not long after Alex himself (Antipater was contemporary to Alex father after all).
Also Alexander's son was mostly focused on Greece and especially Macedon, so the guys farther from it didn't got too involved.
Perdicuss was actually named regent for Alexander's son and what happened is that everyone operated under the fiction of being a Satrap to Alexander's son up until based Antigonus managed to nearly reconquer the entire the Kingdom and declared himself Basileous. Once he did it everyone else followed suit almost immediately. Honestly, Eumenes fighting in the name of Alexander's son is rather overrated. He was obviously doing things for his own benefit, he just died before the other satraps declared themselves independent of Alexander's son.
I want to perform a mana transfer with this servant
Ahhh thanks. It was an interesting period for sure. To the best and all.
So Romance of the 3 kingdoms in Greece / Anatolia / Egypt / Persia?
This is the best fate anime.
I don't exactly understand how Gray purged the control of the Mystic Eyes from her mana circuits. Was it El Melon who did it or did Grey do it herself? She seemed surprised when the control ended.
Sir Kay is overpowered.
Yeah, except the with the Wars the Diadochi the lip service was way thinner and blatant power grabbing much more blatant.
Who was in the wrong, Kariya or Tokiomi?
You can overcome the influence of mystic eyes with your own circulation of od. The more od you have, the easier it is. You can even overcome shit like Medusa's Mystic Eyes of Petrification with a high enough Mana stat.
Tokiomi's decision doubled the chances of reaching the root, so obviously him.
Fundamentally, magi are difficult to mind control because they can purge the influence of someone else's prana with prana from their own circuits. Shirou is just such a garbage magus that Caster was able to make him sleepwalk to the temple anyway.
She's kind of a turbo bitch.
Also what the fuck happened on top of the train? Why did she suddenly vanish? What exactly did Waver do to make her go away and how did he get a burn on his back?
Could Cisigo and Saber of Red defeat Kariya and Lancelot? The winner gets to fight King Arthur.
It'd be hard. Kariya's a worthless piece of shit and no one's gonna lose to him, but Lancelot's stronger than Mordred.
Kariya is a retard who couldn't move on from his teenage crush, Tokiomi was a retard who drank too much magus koolaid. Had they sat down and talked the fuck out it could've been solved in an afternoon.
That would require both of them to ot be written be written by Urobutch, Kariya being able to respect Tokiomi as an human being and Tokiomi being having at least an once of interest on what could have possibly made Kariya hate the idea of becoming a mage. They were fated to suffer from the start.
>imaging being this pleb
What I understood from the explanation previous to the fight is that the moment the sky clouded Waver and Grey phased into another part of reality (think bounded field), and she dropped the offense when it looked like she would damage the train because fuck getting on the nerves of al of Rail Zeppelin included a small army of pissed off magi. Servants are stronk but that's too much hax at the same time.
Waver banished her from the underworld where the train exists back into normal reality.
Dunno about the burn tho. Somehow Hephaestion can throw lighting bolts and thunder around, go figure
Tokiomi didn't suffer though, he got shanked once and that was it. Standard stuff for magi, with only the surprise of betrayal to spice it up.
You wound me, user.
>Touko Travel
Is that the most of a cameo she'll get in the anime?
The Rail Zeppelin has a kill on sight policy regarding Touko. At best you can get a flashback.
Is it from Mahoyo? I don't remember it being mentioned in KnK. Or maybe that's what she used to quickly get back and fuck Alba's shit up after her brain got smashed?
It's from Character Material
No, based Lancelot "Karate Chop Innocent Loli" du Lac kills all 3 of them.
But can Shiki kill Types?
TYPEs don't have a concept of death.
Which Shiki?
I wish she was younger.
I'm talking about Shiki.
Neither of them can do it.
Chairs don't have a concept of death
Doesn't she show up in the manga?
She shows up on the 2nd case
Rail Zeppelin is the 3rd one
Is it ever explicitly stated why Gray is a Saberface?
Was it just random, and her village simply thought she was Artoria?
Is she actually Artoria reincarnated?
Was she changed with magic to become a clone, like Mordred?
Did Rhongo have a physical effect on her?
Is she a descendant of Artoria’s? (I wonder how that would work though, because most of the knights died due to Mordred’s rebellion)
The priest saw Artoria with his mystic eyes, so somehow there is a presence of her in Gray
On a side tangent, if you think about it, Gray would be the best Saberface to waifu, because she isn’t a servant who disappears, but is a human with a permanent body, so you can wife her easily
I want to protect Gray and put a smile on her cute face
>Q: In Overlooking View, Touko mentioned "even I can't fly without a broom", please tell us about the details of the magecraft involved in flying with a broom.
>A: Basically it is a transportation method involving using prana as fuel. Within it, there is the Jet Method, which achieves maximum air speed transiently. There is also the low-cost Ether Sail method. The current new method of transportation involves planting a magical anchor at the destination, and the magus will be pulled toward it, like being pulled by a retracting elastic band. This is the Anchor Attraction Ascension method designed by Touko Aozaki (Patented, commonly referred to as "Touko Travel").
Cult wants Artoria back so they magic'd Gray into an imitation of her.
>Is it ever explicitly stated why Gray is a Saberface?
Yes
>Was it just random, and her village simply thought she was Artoria?
>Is she actually Artoria reincarnated?
No
>Was she changed with magic to become a clone, like Mordred?
Sort of. She and her ancestors have been doing selective breeding and magic fuckery to reach the Artoria body, she's just the generation that actually triggered a transformation (her saberface isn't her original face)
>Did Rhongo have a physical effect on her?
Strange Fake has her on her twenties, so it looks like she's going the way of Titoria
>Is she a descendant of Artoria’s? (I wonder how that would work though, because most of the knights died due to Mordred’s rebellion)
Theory is that she's a descendant of Morgan herself because she was a slut who slept around
she is meant as one of three parts of the components required for the true revival of king arthur. Her clan does not simply intend to create a new artoria, they want the original, including her skills, personality memory and all that.
For this to work they require the flesh, the mind and soul of the one they wish to bring back. The 4th grail war was a great boon to the clan as it accelerated their eugenic breeding by a dozen generations, with it the flesh of king arthur is nearly complete. The mind of king arthur the village already possess thanks to their founder( waver suspects Morgan ley fey due to the evidence he seen around the village but is never confirmed. ) and awaits the day the flesh is ready to receive it. Lastly the soul of king arthur was always going to be the complicated part of their plan but the Heavens Feel system is their perfect solution. With the grail they can manifest artoria 's soul and an even simpler solution is also possible should Artoria be summoned again as servant artoria is about as close as one can get to having the mind and soul in one place, nvm the fact since they didn't know that saber is not a mere copy from the throne but literal artoria summoned moments before her death as shown in the fate route. Either way they can then attempt to bind servant artoria into gray and thus king arthur could be truly considered alive once again. As such the clan elder wants among other reasons for waver to take gray as his apprentice so he can take her with him for the 5th HGW and knowing how valuable gray 's ability can be in a battle waver is hard pressed to say no.
Add has the personality and memory of Sir kay implanted in it and Gray can also call upon other members of the round table to undo seals on Rhongobongo once she is at 3rd level restaint.
>She's kind of a turbo bitch.
She's a follower of Dionysus, that's par for the course.
At least she didn't tear anyone to pieces with her bare hands and then proceeded to eat their raw flesh yet.
Dionysus' parties were wild
>Is it ever explicitly stated why Gray is a Saberface?
Because Takeuchi wants more sabers.
>undo the seals on Rhongobongo
Why on Earth would they do that? Why would they even serve someone who isn't their King?
if the idea of a clan of inbreed retards that wasted almost a millenia trying to create the perfect saberface didn't tip you off: because the premise of Gray's character is fucking retarded
Is it possible that reports of those parties were over-exaggerated?
>because the premise of Gray's character is fucking retarded
Sounds like your average Magus ploy
i get that the english translation of that scene was rather poor but some of it should still be clear.
>how did he get a burn on his back
He used the mana in his hair to direct the lighting elsewhere but enough still passed thru him to wound.
>Why did she suddenly vanish?
Waver said in the scene he suspect that the master of the servant pulled her back because he didnt want to antagonize the Owner of the rail zeppelin since its well know to never fuck with a Dead Apostle vampire.
The clan is descended from Takeuchi: The Waifufag God.
Why are magi always trying to destroy the world?
Okay next question why the fuck is there a Servant summoned outside of a holy grail war?
It's mythology, everything was over-exaggerated.
It's not like anyone was actually partying with the literal god of parties Dionysus in the real world.
But in the stories he appears on, Dionysus often drives characters into insane rages and make them kill and sometimes eat their loved ones.
Four letter words for "something at the base of a tree"
Because it will be explained later.
But the Grail War being in less than 2 months it's important.
Their life goal is poking at the underlying cause and origin of all of reality with their metaphorical (and sometimes literal) fingers.
What mage other than Araya tried specifically that?
Can't they do it in a way that doesn't involve completely overturning the Human Order?
Lately, a lot of magus activity seems potentially result in turning the world into a Lostbelt.
same reason why she can use Rhongobongo i guess. Besides its not like she summons the kotr to fight for her. its just like proto arthur needing to fufil certain conditions in order to undo seals placed on his excalibur by the knights. Gray is the same deal there are 13 seals on Rhongo and she needs to fufill the different condition and call upon those knights whose condition she fulfilled to unlock the seal.
not all 13 is known in the lore but here is what is known.
Bedivere: The enemy must be more powerful than oneself
Palamedes: The battle must be one-on-one
Lancelot: The enemy must not be an elemental
Mordred: The battle must be one against evil
Galahad: The battle must not involve personal gain
Gaheris: The battle must not be inhumane
Gareth: Unknown
Agravain: The battle must be for truth
Kay: The battle must be to live
Arthur Pendragon: The battle must save the world.
Gray fufills 5 of those by the end of Rail zepplin.
>cute and funny
What did he mean by this
Dust of Osiris
Twice H. Pierceman (he was a Spiritron Hacker, but it's similar enough I guess)
Moneysbill (if the Moneysbill caused Extra theory is true)
But she's not King Arthur.
>Mordred: The battle must be one against evil
lel that one sure worked out didn't it?
alot of magic munbo junbo that they are going to reveal over the next 3 episodes but it boils down to her master's ability to access Imaginary Number Space and having intimate knowledge in how the grail system and Chaldea's FATE summoning system.
Huh. I did expect that if Gray did actually have magic used to make her like Artoria, it would be incomplete, but I did not expect that it wasn’t from birth
Imagine being a little British girl waking up one day and suddenly you are Saber, and then everyone around you suddenly wants to swap out your soul for another one
It makes way more sense now why Gray dislikes her face, more than just having her mentor get PTSD from it
It is also interesting how she looks more like Saber Alter to me, with having colorless and just gray hair and eyes
I also wonder now, that because her village’s long-running magic finally activated with her, if she has a daughter, would that girl also look like Saber eventually, or not because the magic already succeded with Gray
GRAY FOR ME
Literally all of Atlas alchemists
Also probably Marisbilly too
>Lately, a lot of magus activity seems potentially result in turning the world into a Lostbelt.
How so?
And?
So why are the Knights of the Round Table supporting her?
Each generation gets closer and closer to the real Saber,
The forth war allowed them to skip several generations of magic enginnering babies.
Did you think they are actually present?
If you think it's bad now soon when Saber gets summoned during the 5th Gray undergoes a heavy change because of their link.
So Rhongomyniad is a slut NP that accepts anyone just because they have King Arthur's body?
Can't they go a single spin-off without shoving Servants down my dickhole?
well the spear thinks she is worthy and so does Sir Kay so plot.
she becomes 100% genetically identical by the end of the 5th grail war anyway.
It's too bad she get's blonde. There's already too many blondes in TM
The Saberface revel was the most important thing in Volume 1, of course they can't not remind you that this is Fate
Soul matters more.
Rongobongo was never an Altria only thing
Also Sir Kay totes thinks Gray's cool so it's fine
Well Rhongomyniad disagree with you then.
The whole idea of having a perfect clone of King Arthurin the modern era with an A++ Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm seems like complete horeshit to me.
To be fair the Servant stuff this time it's not even the goal of the mastermind, just a mean he needs for his final plan.
Blame Morgan, it was her whole idea. She set up the Blackmore Cemetery. It being the resting place of a powerful DA it's also relevant.
It's not about Morgan, it's complete bullshit narratively. Saber is so powerful that no magus in the modern age can do anything to her, and you literally just conveniently create a character who inherits all her physical traits AND her Noble Phantasm? Seriously? The fuck is that shit?
Can't believe Gray is going to look like pic related in a decade or so.
Not really all her traits at all and the NP was there from those times sealed in the cemetery.
Blame Takeuchi. It likely was his idea. He probably convinced Nasu to write Gray's backstory. She needed a good justification for being a Saberface.
Don't worry, her current form is preserved by Chaldea for ever and ever
>and you literally just conveniently create a character who inherits all her physical traits AND her Noble Phantasm? Seriously?
TRYING to create. Not quite there.
>Fate spin-off
She couldn't use Rhongomyniad's true power back then. If she's a perfect genetic copy now in addition to possessing the Factor of the Dragon, that means that she's pretty much the biggest mana battery in the world right now. If she can undo over half the seals on Rhongomyniad, that means she has a Noble Phantasm that can easily gouge out entire villages and blow away entire armies. She's an unstoppable juggernaut in the modern world. Assuming the Factor of the Dragon also gives her Saber's A-rank Magic Resistance, it means she's practically invincible.
It being kickstarted by Morgan explains it tho. She is not a mage from the present, hell the Blackmore Cemetery isn't even about mages in the Clock Tower meaning of the word. They are basically following the idea was given to them in a very specific mystery filled spot with access to a NP of Arthur.
>an A++ Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm
Gray's Rhongo only has A+ rank
I want it to be a Type-Moon work. Not just a "fate spin-off see there are servants and the characters won't shut up about the grail war see!?"
That's because she couldn't undo the seals. But now she can.
>spoiler
I know that, but does Grey receive Emiya's sword?
Bad for you, then. Case Files has been a Fate work since day 1 and it will always be a Fate work.
Well, she is still not quite there. Also using Rhon it's bad in the long run for her anyway.
It's a spin-off about a Fate/Zero character. Also the main antagonist does not care about the Grail War other than as a useful process to get it's own plan working.
She could easily carry that thing around unsealed for ten years with minimal adverse effect. The reason the Lion King became the way she was was because she carried it around for hundreds of years. Even if Gray carried around an unsealed Rhongomyniad for an entire lifetime, I doubt she'd become a divine spirit.
Knock-off Matthew
Add it's sealing it all the time and it's said he is needed or she is fucked, so she probably can't resist the effect of the lance as well as normal Artoria would.
Well not completely dominate the mages of modern time. Rhongo has very strict limits and harsh consequences to be used .she cant just spam it. and using Rhongo in such a reduced state gray gets easily stomped by Touko in this story.
The project started in the age of the gods, so that's not really modern age magecraft, it's also just the kind of result that's the fruit of a thousands years and more of work. We've seen world threatening events and true magic being created in the time the plan has been going.
The spear itself, too, is the real deal. Just like Fragarach.
And look here, I'm not saying this doesn't have the signs of Takeuchi's fucking fetish all over it, but this is a perfectly fine way to actually have a Saberclone using in-setting logic, but it looks like bullshit because Saberface was already a big meme before it happened.
Touko tanks an A+ Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm?
>human Saber clone that still ages normally, to make lots of saberface kids with
My fucking dick
If Hephaestion is a Servant why is she so weak? Even 50 mages shouldn't be able to defeat one Servant yet Hephaestion had to use her NP to try to defeat Gray, who is not even a mage, and Waver who is a very weak mage.
Add is sealing most of the lance's influence, without, she's pretty much fucked and will gradually lose her humanity.
The only thing that can offset it is Excalibur if I remember correctly.
Touko became a combat monster despite being a minion master type character.
And yet she still can't beat her sister.
He gets introduced to her while Rin is taking El Melon's class. There was a threeway.
I want to produce heirs with her.
At least that's consistent.
desu, that was pre 5th HGW Gray. after the 5th war, its hard to say with Gray having a dragonic core and all that other benefit of a living Arthur.
Though this presents an interesting situation for post UBW Sunny day ending. How is london going to handle having 2 King arthur in the same clock tower.
touko's brief case is a wonderful thing.
>I don't know, but I've heard good things. Just waiting for an English dub.
I wish Gray will get a cute British accent but of course peeps at Bang Zoom! never bothers
she has a crazy demon thing sealed inside her own body now when she gets hurt it's released to wreck face
>Two Arthur Pendragons
This has gone too fucking far, Takeuchi. I think I understand why people hate Saberfaces now.
If she's completely identical to King Arthur in body, then Touko shouldn't be able to hurt her anymore. Not with spells, anyway.
I think Grey's existence is a little too obnoxious, yeah. I can forgive Nero since she just has some visual similarities (mainly the hairstyle), but Grey's just an actual literal Saberclone.
>Rin sees Gray.
>Gets a massive erection for Saber.
>Pulls Shirou away and spreads Grey's pussy and orders him to fuck the brains out of her.
Why does this Glasses bitch hate Waver so much? Does she have some sort of grudge? Did he do something to piss her off?
Why is this loli so thirsty for dick?
Maybe them entering the underworld made them closer to their Servant selves
For one she is not Hephaestion. everyone of Iskandar's confidant/generals/adviser thats historically somebody is already seen in fate/zero during his NP. Even waver points it out this episode by saying why he have never seen her before.
2nd she was holding back as waver pointed out, one reason being she didnt want to damage the train because the owner of the train is a DA.the other reason why she held back will be explained soon.
>reserved for Swordguy in the eventual FSN TV Sequel
you all know it'll happen.
>no spinoff where cute girls just follow Necromancer around and they get into trouble
Probably because he won't fuck her.
>Living mages cannot hurt servants
Yeah about that...
Man, remember how grafting Archer's arm to Shirou was literally killing him despite them being the same person? It sure is convenient how all these other characters can inherit the powers and characteristics of Servants without repercussions. Shirou sure was unlucky.
the plot for Prisma Illya 4ier isn't decided yet.
Living mages can't hurt King Arthur. A-rank Spell Resistance makes her invincible to all spells of the modern era.
its more of whats in the brief case that gray finds difficult.
>It sure is convenient how all these other characters can inherit the powers and characteristics of Servants without repercussions.
Every single time I see a "person fusing/using a Servants powers and skills" I just get so fucking angry.
Prisma was absolutely abhorrent for this.
The fate/Extra anime can fuck off too.
>Glasses
Hishiri? She's just teasing him She hopes to recruit him for the Faculty of Policies, because she feels they are similar. She also might or might not want to recruit him for her bed
touko is op alright. Nasu will authorize people to write anything as long as the Aozaki sisters come out on top.
>Maybe them entering the underworld made them closer to their Servant selves
It's almost like careful planning and trial and error beats winging it in the moment.
Touko should be far weaker than King Arthur.
me and my bear don't give a fuck.
Why's she dressed like Saber?
Mediums channeling Heroic Spirits as oracles was mentioned in FSN, but yeah, it's going too far
Grafting the arm of a servant on yourself is far from the same as being born the end of a centuries long magic project to resemble a person from the time when that person was NOT a servant.
Just as a reminder, Servants aren't the same thing as the original person. What Shirour did was sew the limb of a ghost on his body.
Say that to a japanese ladyboy who can trade below with Indian mahabharata servants.
She only gets the dragon mana reactor in book 10, she's not quite there yet
Sieg had a Servant's heart embedded in him. It didn't give him cancer. It just turned him into an immortal dragon. Which I suppose is a minus from his perspective, but it was still less painful than what Shirou went through.
I didn't recognize Caules until he brought up his sister. Being worse than a secondary is amusing.
Can Aoko beat Saber with Blue?
i feel like you have a point there. But i also get that plenty of people here refuse to accept anything in FGO as canon despite the fact they are in the sense that the series creator say they fare.
>really hoping she's a pseudo/demi-servant and Hephaestion
Faker is Hephaestion's sister, who acts as Shadow to direct all curses from Alexander and her brother to herself.
Homunculi aren't people.
the immortal dragon part was becasue he asked that as his wish to the grail. without the grail he would just have been a person covered in scales.
True Magic isn't something you can pull out whenever and wherever. It's not that convenient. That's why Zelretch created all these Mystic Codes, in order to make it easier to use certain aspects of the Second at will.
Generally, when you're fighting Aoko, you're really only dealing with her martial arts and beamspam. You're not getting hit with Magic directly. Generally, Aoko can deal with average Servants with average Noble Phantasms. Average in this case means something like a B-rank that does pure numbers-based damage, like a spear that shoots beams or a sword that hits really, really hard. If she were to fight King Arthur or Cu Chulainn, she'd get wrecked.
So the seals are just to make sure that the full Excalibur/Rhongo can only be used against Beasts or the White Titan, right?
Tokiomi literally handed his six years old daughter to a creepy old man. It doubles as stupid when Nasu confirms she would have been loved and taken care of as Luvia's little sister.
Pretty much, the purpose of Exca is to deal against aliens and Rhongo is a lynchpin separating the surface and the reverse side.
None of them are supposed to be used as beamspams.
Moneybill might become a component of a humanity Evil. It's not being a magus what's the issue then.
Zouken needed Sakura to revive the Makiri family because of their bloodline's shit compatibility with the land of the Tohsakas (or maybe it was Goetia's fault now, I don't fuckin know anymore) so he took her in. Why would the Edelfeldts have taken in Sakura?
This is just an issue of the timeline, Gray's appears to be the straw that broke the camel's back because she's the latest in a long line of Saberfaces, but that doesn't speak of the character itself.
There's something very wrong if you can forgive the bajillion iterations of the same design + different flavor of waifu, but draw the line exactly on the one that took the time to justify itself (similar to how F/SN dedicated time to justify King motherfucking Arthur being a cute girl all alooooong)
Grey fucking hates her fake Saberface (it wasn't like this originally) and the fact she'll get soul raped and destroyed because of the cult obsession with Seiba. She'll literally never give some retard Seibafags like Rin or Shirou the time of the day.
>Lostbelt dudes want to bring back the Age of the Gods
>(You) could probably do that at any time by phoning up Merlin and Simba and getting them to yoink out Rhongobongo (True) and expose the Reverse Side
It's more egregious here because she's actually inheriting King Arthur's power. What if a human just happened to be a clone of Gilgamesh and had access to Gate of Babylon? Anyone would cry foul.
Excalibur and Rhongomyniad are simply too powerful to be allowed usage whenever and wherever. That's why they have seals placed on them.
Rhongomyniad and Excalibur (Proto) are bound by the Restraints of the Round Table, thirteen seals bearing the names of the Knights of the Round Table. In order to activate their true power, you must undo at least seven of the thirteen seals. Anything less and you won't be able to command its true power.
Excalibur (Fate/stay night) also has several seals in place. It's said that Saber was never able to undo all its seals in life.
They do in Apocrypha, she's raised as Luvia's sister. And again Nasu confirms in HF boxset 2 how they would have acted in FSN.
There's no bloodline of Makiri that's why it was fucked. They were all potential vessels for Zouken to jump into. The crest of worms was just where his spiritual core was and this got into the 'heir'.
Because them and the Tohsaka are relatives since the 3rd Grail War and she may have become an ojou like in apocrypha if only Tokiomi wasn't such an idiot.
They took her in the Apocrypha timeline
Despite everything the Edelfelts and the Tohsaka are family after all
People already got mad at it in 2015
Animeonly fags started getting got fed up only now because they consumed less fate meia
Doing that would wreck the world, idiot, and possibly extinguish humanity by missteps. By revising history to be always be the one in those LBs, would just make it the new panhistory smoothly after the bumpy begining.
Oh no. Shirou would know instantly that something is up and just treat her better than anyone but Sir. Unfortunately Gray's inherited sword lust would be in full swing by then and she won't be able to resist Rin's offer of that sweet blade's hilt.
Tokiomi wanted Sakura to fight in the Grail war, and being a Matou would assure that. In Apocrypha since the Grail was stolen away, he takes another choice, plus Zouken let himself die or something.
Luvia tag team partner?
He was killed by Darnic.
Is the Waver looking guy supossed to be Waver, or is it someone else?
Based Darnic.
Eumenes. Faker compares Waver to Eumenes and in FGO Alex also compares Waver to Eumenes. In the Sensha Otoko aprilsfull oneshot Eumenes looks like adult Waver.
Why s he Fastwheels with longer hair?
But why did they do that when they already had Luvia as the heir, wouldn't she be as superfluous to them as she was to the Tohsakas?
Because they both got cucked by Diarmuid.
They are famous mercenaries.
Another pair of hands is always useful idk
The reason she's inheriting anything at all rather than just being another generation of her autist cult is because Artoria herself landed in the present and activated Gray's in a manner not unlike Shirou getting Redman's shit. It's only because the real deal showed up that the transformation got kickstarded through some magic glitch on reality caused by her inbred genes (and don't say that's bullshit because that exactly how every single big impact magus ritual in this universe works).
Even the fact that she can use the spear at all is a consequence of the transformation since before that it was inert. At the end of the day this is just another show of what hax magi can be capable of.
Because the Edelfelt crest can actually be passed down to two heirs. Dunno where that puts Luvia's actual sister though.
>Edelfelts steal magic
>She immediately tries to steal Shirou from Rin.
It's like poetry it holds plants
Why did Morgan try to create more of the sister she hated and the dumbass son who burned down the country she wanted to take over?
They did the smart thing and fostered another strong bloodline that they could breed into their own without the repercussions of inbreeding.
>Gray suffers a change when Arturia is summoned in the 5th GW
Is the change only physical? Because suddenly changing to her 20s is too convenient for my boy Waver you feel me.
Yes, I ship them I don't give a fuck. I'm enjoying the shit outta Case Files.
I know this is still shitposting, but Shirou still has Avalon after the end of UBW so I wonder what if any effect that could have on Grey if she was carelessly exposed.
makes sense
I'm not criticizing the story reason. I'm criticizing the fact that the writer actually created those circumstances in the first place.
The morning after and Gray has grown a foot in height and has massive tits.
She doesn't get a 20s body, she just gets closer to the actual Artoria body.
She gets the 20s body by the time of Strange Fake because she is actually allowed to age.
she becomes blonde and gains dragon magic circuits
We don't know, making branches houses is useful anyway for old families anyway.
>Faker appears
>"Dumb cosplaying THOT. I've all ready seen the real Hephaestion. This bird's just a pho-."
>Faker summons Gordes Wheel
Evidence seems to suggest that she's actually a crazy yandere. What she feels for her sister may not be hatred, but a twisted love.
>summons Bedivere, Agravain, and Kay
I wasn't expecting Gray to have such excellent taste in Knights who aren't nepotistic failures.
Dumb question but why does everyone still use the outdated romanisation "Tohsaka" instead of "Tousaka" under Hepburn system which is used for virtually every single other Japanese word in otakudom? Is it just out of habit at this point?
That's fair, I too was fuming at Gray when I first got into Case Files, as it is CLEARLY pandering, but personally I don't find it worse than having a bunch of unrelated ancient people from different cultures get genderbended into looking exactly like cashcow waifu. Convoluted circumstances for crazy power is par for the course in Type Moon, and at least I'm glad in this case there are circumstances at all.
Tohsaka is the official romanisation.
Nasu's romanisations are totally retarded (see Altria for example)
Nero doesn't even look that much like Saber under closer scrutiny. Saber didn't have air vents in her hair. It's really just the braids and bun. If they both let their down hair, you wouldn't say they looked the same.
>Is it just out of habit at this point?
Pretty much this
Does Gray resent Add for that? Her trying so hard to not be an Artoria clone only to find out that her closest friend was just a knockoff of Artoria's big brother?
Altria, Artoria or Arthuria?
And I'll keep using them forever, just to spite the fanbase.
>Bedivere and Kay
Bringing in the OGs, absolutely based. NTRman and Worst Son can fuck off.
The "toh" part comes from the word "tooi", so the accurate romanization would be "Toosaka", which would constantly get mispronounced by English speakers if spelled that way.
Whichever one pisses off the most amount of people.
The real proper english reading of Rin's name is Toesucka. That's, also, why Shirou demanded she take off the socks so he could get to sucking.
Wait, why does Bedivere have Airgetlam?
I think Nero was meant to be both a marketing pull and a narrative fakeout for those approaching EXTRA for the first time. Like, "Hey, here's a Servant that looks like Artoria? Is she an alternate like Lily and Alter? Surprise! She's Artoria's polar opposite and a Roman. You know, the folks who kept trying to subjugate Britain! And the fire fiddler emperor besides"
And I think that's pretty keen - resulting in a character that the fans came to like albeit not to the extent the writing staff does - even if they padded their odds by plopping in EMIYA (except not really, but yes really) as a playable character.
>using Japanese names
What are you, a weeaboo? Translate that shit. Her name is Frigid Longhill.
It's probably just his original prosthetic unless they go full FGO.
And also by featuring Rin on the cover
In apoc, Luvia and Sakura become wrestling stars pair of sisters. Luvia's kind of a proud big sister type according to Nasu who would coax Sakura to embrace her noblewoman laugh.
Edefelt crest best works when is wielded by two heirs.
>waver
>women
user, let it go.
God, now I really want to see that. Shame her hair is probably still brown in that timeline.
Luvia already got a imouto
How obnoxious.
I will be sad to fight Beast VI-R as Flat is confirmed to become an utter Manaka-tier monster in any timeline Waver doesn't take him on as a student.
Maybe not in apocrypha since Sakura is her imouto now.
How old is Luvia here? She looks like a hag, I thought she was the same age as Rin.
God Extra is so shitty. No matter how you excuse it, it only sold because they baited people with Saber, Rin and Emiya instead of creating real new characters. Tamamo was even kicked from the cover to make room to Rin.
She doesn't even look 20 how is that hag status.
He seems to be inferior to Manaka, who's inferior to Ryougi Shiki.
Manaka isn't inferior to Ryougi.
Ryougi Shiki got a connection to the Root because she died, and due to her origin name, but she didn't have it before her accident.
Manaka's place of birth and origin is literally the Root. She has a connection to it before her birth.
Is there any antagonist in Type Moon more horrible than Manaka Sanjyou? Gilgamesh and Kirei have their unique charm that makes them tolerable. Araya Souren and most villains in Case Files are typical austitic mages with Muh root while Amakusa Shiro and Goetia have Muh humanity. Their goals arent that noble but at least understandable. Meanwhile that bitch Manaka with her Muh love makes me sick. I swear everything about her from design to personality pisses me off.
>Samuraison Defenseshrine
>Frigid Longhill
>Cherryblossom Spacepaulownia
>Humbletwo Spacepaulownia
>Entrailinkstone Spacepaulownia
>Sectoneson Kudzutree
>Beautiful Wordpeak
There need to be more breather episodes with Gray-chan cosplaying and giving fashion show.
She is. The entire reason she needs the Grail is because her quality as a wish granter is inferior. Manaka's ability to channel the power of the Root is limited by her circuits, and while the quality of her circuits are incredible, it's not enough to turn her into an all-powerful wish-granter. This is why she sought the Grail. While "Ryougi Shiki" possesses the ability to destroy and restructure the world as she sees fit, Sajyou Manaka does not.
You have that completely backwards. Ryougi Shiki's origin is " ", and this is what connected her to the Root from the beginning. She was supposed to have been killed by the Counter Force, but the Ryougi used their secret techniques to keep her alive. Thus, she always had a connection to the Root. Originally, she had no personality, so the Ryougi awakened her origin. As someone who was connected to the Root, "Ryougi Shiki" saw everything and had no interest in anything. Thus, she created the dual personalities of the two Shikis that the Ryougi desired and slumbered beneath them.
When one of the Shikis "died", this awakened Ryougi Shiki's dormant powers, the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. This is an ability that she always had, but never knew about.
Isn't Shiki's 3rd personality the Root itself?
"Ryougi Shiki's" body is the Root spokesperson like how Solomon was for God.
>While "Ryougi Shiki" possesses the ability to destroy and restructure the world as she sees fit, Sajyou Manaka does not.
Literally headcanon and just claim without substance, not even backed by Nasu.
>You have that completely backwards.
No, dude. Manaka is an existence born in the Root. That's her origin (not her Origin, difference). Birthplace: The Root, is in her material.
>Holy head canon
Those eyes aren't dormant powers, she gets those powers because she touched the root and returned. So her sight became more self aware. She literally DOESN'T have them otherwise.
>Thus, she created the dual personalities of the two Shikis that the Ryougi desired and slumbered beneath them.
She never existed until Ryougi died briefly.
Why does the Root love murder so much?
The third personality who has never seen anything outside Earth? Not really. It's just a headcanon she is though.
Imagine being delusional to think Shiki can hold a candle to Manaka whom Nasu and Takeuchi describe not as a girl who becomes omnipotent or all powerful (aka a lot of the inferior heroines) but as "Omnipotence becomes a Girl."
Even Olga falls for Waver
Is there anyone who can stop this chad?
Gray-chan is super cute!
Olga is pretty hot, one of my favorite characters in this show.
I want to breed her.
No one can. These threads call aboard all of us Waverfags.
I really didn't expect Director Olga to pop up in this show, pleasantly surprised. She is such a cutie and FGO treated her badly
And she only wants to breed Waver, not some anonymous looser!
I love how, deep inside, he is still the same dork.
I don't get it, is this before apoc or alternative timeline?
Alt.
Glasses is the head, never summons Fran and Cool Necromancer never summons Mordred.
Alternate timeline.
By this time in the show, fuyuki would have been up in flames, the grand grail would be stolen and everyone would be preparing for a 7 vs 7 war.
This is not to mention that Saber wouldn't have been in the 4th war because Amakusa Shirou took Kiritsugu's place or something and had the whole love thing with the homunculus instead like the fucking gary stu faggot he is.
Case Files take place before FSN. Apocrypha is another timeline because of divergence on Third Heaven's Feel.
Why is Olga such a cunt? Her father is alive and she's not shouldering any responsibility.
Ahh the siblings who wanted to fuck each other.
Apocrypha and EXTRA are on different rails from the rest of the franchise. FGO used to be separate too, but now it's worming its way inside everything else
Her dad still fucked her up.
She's a spoiled rich teen who also happens to be a strong magus
What did she mean by this?
Makes me a pedo
Bitchy babysitter.
>happens to be a strong magus
But she's not. She's a shitter and only better than Waver because her family's been around longer.
She would like it if Waver was pedo.
But he is gay.
IN FGO they say she is though, just that she doesn't have "it" to be a master. Whatever "it" is
Her dad barely paid attention to her.
Marisbilly is a neglectful father, who would have thought? He's only interested in his experiments and theories.
>Ryougi Shiki: "Yes. I'm not a personality dreamed up by my brain...but the personality derived from my body itself. At the end of the day, Shiki and Shiki were a personality swap that occurred inside the root character called 'Ryougi Shiki'. And it was 'Ryougi Shiki' who presided over all of that. Although they were separate personalities, they still shared the same thought processes, because in the end, they were 'the good and evil inside Ryougi Shiki'. I am the origin of all of that, and I am also the end. Otherwise, those two with their conflicting tendencies, could never have co-existed."
>Kokutou: "I'm not sure I completely follow, but basically, you're the archetype for the true Shikis.
>Ryougi Shiki: "Indeed. I am Ryougi Shiki's true nature. And I am the true nature who never shows her face. Being no more than a physical body, I don't have the ability to think, so by all rights, I should have rotted away. But the Ryougi clan infused me, an empty vessel, with intelligence. In order to turn Ryougi Shiki into an omnipotent human being, they attempted to insert various personalities into me. That's how they produced me, the archetype. And thus, since I needed to have a stronghold against everything, I created Shiki and Shiki myself."
She's the sucessor of family that's as old as the Clocktower and one of the best blue bloods of magi nobility. She's full of herself. Her father hasn't tutored Wodime yet so she doesn't know she'll get replaced as heir.
Her dad is too busy sucking Roman's dick to pay attention to her
That's how you fuck a kid up.
He still had plenty of people to be her caretakers and caregivers, as she was his successor (tentative).
Roman is a non issue when she's 11, bro.
She has below Rayshift possibility. That's what gives the prerequisitive to be a Master since you need to be deployed through that system.
what exactly is it you want her to be shouldering responsibility for?
Being the mother of our child.
Roman excused her bitchiness in FGO because she was stressed due to be forced to become the director after her dad's death, but it just seems she's always been a bitch.
What are the "good" subs?
I kinda want to know Olga's and Kirsch's opinions about each other
First off that doesn't having anything to do with shouldering responsibility.
Second of all her friend just died then some member of the church a magus killer decides he'll be the one to do the autopsy and starts walking right towards her of course she objected of course she attacked why should she let him do the autopsy why should she let him get that close the real question is why the hell everyone else was fine with it what the hell kinda of detective is Waver? Thirdly she is only 11.
So Gray has almost the same level of physical strength as a Servant? How is this possible? Does she already have Artoria's physical strength?
Some people are just that strong even alive.
I hope shirou steals her from waver, waver already has reines anyway
Waver's gay.
Not that user and this is not relevant to the responsibility thing but
>the real question is why the hell everyone else was fine with it what the hell kinda of detective is Waver
See what Yvette said later in that episode. Mages murdering each other is a normal thing, especially for those who are magus family's successor. Reines always has to prepare some emergency food supplies by herself since she was young because people could do bad thing (e.g. poison) with her food and murder her with that. Trisha, who has Mystic Eyes got killed in a Mystic Eyes Collection Train is even more understandable. And Waver, Caules and Gray still helped Olga after Trisha's death so i don't really get what you are saying here.
Shiroufag, pls.
For the last what Yvette says doesn't explain why the fuck a detective would trust him with the autopsy or knockout the person who knew the victim it makes him look like a pretty shitty detective.
>The Apocrypha cast live happier and more fulfilling lives simply by virtue of not being stuck in the Apocrypha timeline
Pffhahahahaha
Darnic is probably dead, but do we know what happened to Sadist Elf Bitch and Golem Shota in the main timeline?
Why couldn't this get animated instead of apoc
Sounds like a stupid fix-fic to me.
>the fuck a detective would trust him with the autopsy
Waver simply has faith in him and believes he is a good person well tbf Waver is not wrong though and eventhough the Church and the Mage's Association are always in a bad relationship with each other, it's still normal for a person from the Church to do the autopsy and Karabo doesn't want to mess with the magi side, after all.
>knockout the person who knew the victim
Olga is just 11. Her tutor being killed is too much for her to handle and if anything, she needs to calm down first. It's not like she can help them to investigate Trisha's death while being shock by that death anyway.
The same can be said for the stay night cast in the apocrypha timeline.
How do I watch this show without wanting to fuck Reines? Is that intended?
First off are you saying that Waver knows this person why does he have faith in this person why is he not among the suspects? Also why is it normal for a member of the church to do the autopsy? Also knocking someone out is not the way to get somebody to calm down especially if you want info from them since it causes brain damage.
You are treating this like a normie and not a magicman.
you mean I am treating this as a sane person since most magus seem to be insane?
Yes
>Shitroufag complain about Guda or Hakuno
>btw but Shitrou can become a harem Master too XDD
fuck off. nobody even gives a shit about shirou in the clocktower other than rin and luvia, he's not even a real student and left to chase isis.
This. As long as you're not the focus, chances are you're spare of suffering.
He is not even allowed to join the Clocktower. He would get merc'd in a second if anyone even knew half of what he is capable of.
They would simply put his brain in a jar.
That's what I said. He only had fanservice interaction with Waver which Nasu said wouldn't take place. Unlike what retards think, he's not involved in the Grail dismantling either.
Well if you write a murder mystery your detective should act like a detective magus or not if no fate magus can fill that role then fate should stay away from the genre.
He does act like a detective. He just specializes in crazies who can do bullshit magic.
Waver can only perform normal human autopsy and everyone present could see what exactly Karabo was doing, so I think there was no reason to not let him.
somehow I think seeing what he's doing is only any good if you understand autopsying yourself otherwise he could probably pull a fast one. Also if you don't understand they autopsy they you just have his word for the conclusion.
Melon does an autopsy right after. If not there would have been some inquiry into the church and there people, a quiet one but there still would have been one.
So how much was that Druid Elixir cure-everything bottle worth?
Only way to cure Waver of the gay is in doujins.
wait a minute who's melon again and why didn't he do it in the first place? Also i doubt autopsying and already autopsied body is as reliable though I am not sure
Wait, can Artoria use Gray's spear and she just never bothered to use it?
I guess Gray is just one of those gorilla girls that seem to be appearing in more anime lately
Waver is Melon. It was magic done in full view of members of the train faction, the church faction and the Clocktower faction so it passes.
Saber only has what she had on her when she made the contract with the world. She used Rhongomyniad to kill Mordred, but then she dropped it somewhere and Bedivere never bothered to pick it up when she carried her off to the forest. During Fate/stay night, she only had Excalibur and Invisible Air, though I suppose if she were a proper Heroic Spirit, she could be summoned with it.
By which i mean both autopsies were done in full view of all three factions, all participants capable of understanding what is going on. As legal as it can be.
if the dissection was well done and the body was preserved an follow-up examination shouldn't be meaningfully more unreliable. and anyway it's magic instead of a traditional invasive autopsy so it's a moot point
you telling me everyone their knew how to do an autopsy and the choose to let the church guy do it?
>but then she dropped it somewhere
It's lodged into mordred's chest.
>Not knowing who El Melon is
fair enough it was a magic autopsy now that I think about it it still seems dumb to me though.
Gray, pls.
Right, I fucked up. There were four separate people of three separate faction who understood what was going on. Waver and Glasseschan, church dude, and train lady. All three have stakes in things going well.
isn't supposed to be El Melloi
it is, but it's minor so whatever
Yes it s.
Don't forget the II.
Everyone there know when someone else uses magecraft to keep the priest in check. And Waver probably even understands what exactly can be done with certain sacraments (if he even used any).
No, she could if she was summoned as a lancer
How exactly does the Edelfelt family Sorcery Trait that allows them to have two successors at a time work? Do they just get another copy of the crest or is it split between the two heirs?
what is he playing, Yea Forums
and why is it fate extra
Fire Emblem 3 houses
Guess his husbando
Uh...Golden Sun?
%%He probably would think that Edelgard did nothing wrong%%
The hell? His Japanese name is 西瓜, literally "watermelon". This "Melloi" is Japs screwing up again.
No, it's 諸葛亮
Do those two ever show up again? For all their implied importance in episode 0, they sure as hell barely appear in the show proper.
The right one has such a punchable irritating face. Then again he really looks like anglo inbred.
Wait, is this adult Artoria?
summer version of the artoria who uses rhongo
She is your King.
>Escardos
>anglo
>this passed for a male
By that point in that timeline no one cared.
Those menu prices looked pretty cheap but then I remembered it's 2004 in their timeline
Strictly speaking, she never got to that point. Since she never aged past a teenager, the running excuse was that she was just eternally a young boy. If anything, "his" youthful beauty probably contributed to her popularity. The Lancer version is a "what-if" that isn't part of normal Panhistory, since King Arthur becoming a divine spirit and returning to the earth rather than going to Avalon probably doesn't help the Human Order very much.
That said, her breastplate hides her assets very well.
But the PSP was first released in December 2004 in Japan and didn't hit the EU until September 2005.
As if Melvin with his infinite megabucks couldn't get access to a PSP before the official release date. Anything to make Waver happy.
This is pure speculation on my part but they could work like the terminals on a car battery (positive charged) sister/brother and a (negative charged) sister/brother.
mages don't respect street date
>never aged past a teenager
Why not?
he could be paying off his debt being a beta tester.
When she obtained Caliburn, it completely halted her aging process. In fact, it's literally impossible for her body to undergo any physical changes. No matter how many years past, she won't grow an inch. No matter how much she eats, she won't gain an ouce. Even if she starves for days, she won't lose any weight either.
>Saber: "That is not it, Sakura. I simply cannot gain weight."
>Sakura: "----------"
>A straight answer, like a powerful fastball. And, like a batter that struck out, Sakura is frozen stiff.
>Saber: "My body stopped growing the moment I pulled the sword from the stone. For that reason, no matter how extravagant the meal, I will never gain weight, yet I can go on without a single slice of bread and never lose any. ...Yes. While it left me unable to attain the dignity and physique worthy of a king, I felt it quite convenient on the battlefield during times of war. However, now that I am also unable to ever reach the splendor of a woman in full bloom, I am starting to feel but a tinge of-------Sakura? Are you listening?"
Tell me about Hishiri Adashino(snek lady).
Why she always hangs around our pure boy?
That's pretty cute but also sad. Thanks user.
Atlas is trying to save the world user
But pretty much all of what they created are world-destroying inventions...
They're pretty shit at it, though.
They didn't mean to do it
youtu.be
Based GudaCHAD
I want to fuck this 11 year old.
So how strong is the church? What do they have over mages outside of martial arts and those stupid black keys
I remember when mystic eyes were rare and precious. Now every halfwit has one
Sacraments, scriptures, prayers as well as numerous conceptual weapons. Not for nothing, the Roman Catholic Church is the largest religion in the world, so they actually to receive some power from that. Even though the Holy Church (the militant organization affiliated with the Church that exists to fight heretics) is much smaller than the Magus Association, their strength is easily a match for them. Riesbyfe is said to have a punch force of up to 5 tons, and Ciel is supposed to be even stronger.
Kill yourself.
They actually go out and hunt monsters and shit while magus are a bunch of hikki hiding in their basements that they claim is their workshop.
They have like 780 Holy Grails that they've confiscated, or at least a decent chunk of those. They also have a bunch of "Holy Scriptures" which are super powerful weapons given out to certain members. This is the one Ciel has. According to Kirei, these weapons can put you on the level of being able to fight Servants.
No, the super special mystic eyes like Shiki's are rare and precious. Not all mystic eyes are equal, they may not be common, but not all get to be rare and precious.
Mystic Eyes weren't that rare or precious. In Tsukihime alone, there were no less than five owners of Mystic eyes. Tsukihime Plus-Disc added an additional two. In Kara no Kyoukai, there were four.
However, there are certain very specific subcategories of Mystic Eyes that are extremely rare and valuable. The greatest Mystic Eyes are categorized by the Noble Colors system, as mentioned in Case Files. Powerful Mystic Eyes are Gold, as shown by Arcueid and Nrvnqsr's Mystic Eyes of Enchantment. Beyond that are Jewel-class Mystic Eyes, which are said to have only existed in the Age of the Gods, among which are Medusa's Mystic Eyes of Petrification. It's said that only Divine Spirits possess Jewel-class eyes. And then there's the Rainbow-class, the highest category of Mystic Eyes which are so rare that most magi believe them to be a myth. It's said that the Crimson Moon had Mystic Eyes of this category, and Roman states that the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception are Rainbow-class as well.
Reines is cute and grew on me after she took Gray shopping. The show is great in general because Waver is gay and sad and that makes me sad.
Why is this question being asked in every single CF thread?
Is this a meme at this point?
Just newfags trying to pretend they were oldfags so they parrot some out of context shit they've seen other people talk about.
>the dignity physique worthy of a king
Aka a pair of giant knockers
Well, how can you call yourself a king if you don't at least own several large... tracts of land.
>He would get merc'd in a second if anyone even knew half of what he is capable of.
You mean that he'd murder a dozen magi who were dumb enough to try to make moves on the guy who can wave his hands and conjure magic swords with more Mystery than their most potent ritual magics?
So do they practically use magic and just call them prayers. Kinda like dark souls
Are they like official wish granting holy grails or just magical artifacts with lots of magic
You think a collective of magus wouldn't use better tactics than a lone magus with a single superweapon like in the Grail Wars? Don't take the Case Files as a measure of how the mage world responds to threats. The moment either the Clocktower or the Church get wind of him he is getting teams of trained and co-ordinated killers set on a single target who doesn't know how to operate the way they do. He can murder thousands of hillbilly towelhead magus but real ones looking for him he can't deal with.
I don't think you realize how bullshit some of the top tier magus are. I mean, sure, we're used to magus being more interested in petty office politics, but they're still magus. And some of them have been dealing with that kind of shit for ages.
He inherited a good deal of Archer's skills and abilities. I'm sure he can avoid capture. He did manage to defeat the King of Heroes, even if conditions were pulled in his favor.
Dealing with what kind of shit? Noble Phantasms? That's not really all that common.
Yes, Holy Sacraments is magecraft.
I don't see Shirou having some kind of precognitive powers. Pragmatic Mages who do dirty work as mercenaries can easily do Shirou in. Mages like Sisigou and Kiritsugu will probably make short work of Shirou.
Bounded fields, curses, mystic eyes, blessings. Anything that isn't some stupid fighting-game level battle where individuals are pitting themselves against each other in glorified honor duels or hillbilly levels of poorly educated shitters doing the one thing they can do to fuck over the non-magical idiots around them and Shirou before he gets into the REAL shit gets murdered hard.
He managed to stop a sneak attack from Rider. He has the patented Nasu Protagonist Spider-Sense ability.
You say that, but Bazett's tactics in Fate/hollow ataraxia don't exactly inspire a whole lot of confidence. Reality Marbles are actually crazy rare. I seriously doubt most magi have ever run into even one.
He has Noble Phantasms, and when one magical effect contests another, the one with more Mystery wins - and any Noble Phantasm of B rank or higher has more Mystery than even an A-rank thaumaturgical ritual.
Shirou could just pull out a sword and cut their bullshit spells apart.
Against those faggots that fellate themselves at Clocktower, Shirou could probably win. But Rogue Magus who aren't by bound by Clocktower's asshattery and have years of real battle experience under their belt will probably make short work of him.
Bazett was specifically a counter to Np thanks to Fragrach and didn't have much use outside of being muscle. Even then she would wreck Shirou at any point in the Fate timelines outside of having Archer's arm grafted on..
It wouldn't be hard for him to run away from her at the prime of his game. I mean, Bazett kinda seems to suck at follow-through.
I don't think that Curses or Mystic Eyes would work very well on Shirou. He could just do the same thing that Gray does in this episode where she uses Rhongomyniad to break the Mystic Eye effect on her, or just Project Rule Breaker and jab himself a little bit.
Also, Bounded Fields are unlikely to work terribly well, since Shirou could just cut an opening in them with a Noble Phantasm, or remove their roots from existence by calling forth his Reality Marble and thereby cause them to collapse out of existence.
I wonder what characters would get caught in the mayhem besides Rin and El Melon students
>Punished Bazett back for closure
>Adult Issei (the greater grail is near Ryuudou temple)
>Taiga (expired cake version) being nosy and getting in the crossfire
>Sakura and Rider if we go Heaven's Feel True, but likely not because the Mushroom won't commit to a route)
>Likely not priests because the grail is a confirmed dud, but maybe they'll send Caren to check on things
Pretty sure Waver's Canuck not-grandparents are worm-food by this point, but maybe he could buy/rent the house for his state for nostalgia points.
>I don't think that Curses or Mystic Eyes would work very well on Shirou. He could just do the same thing that Gray does in this episode where she uses Rhongomyniad to break the Mystic Eye effect on her, or just Project Rule Breaker and jab himself a little bit.
No. He would need those out before the spell effected him. Additionally he would need to know the bounded field is there and have something set up before hand. Shirou is not at that level.
How so? Unwilling to kill a kid or unable to?
I don't see how Shirou can defend against an entire building bombed to collapse on him and kill him (Kiritsugu style) or getting a necromancy grenade filled with curses lobbed at him (Sisigou style). Mages, espescially those not bound by Clocktower's rules, don't exactly play fair.
Shirou might have good reflexes, but no way can he handle these Merc mages who make a living keikaku'ing all sorts of pragmatic ways to deal with the job. Not unless he has some kind of short term future sight power, which I'm pretty sure he doesn't.
I mean, she gets blindsided by shit near-constantly. She's not used to dealing with unorthodox magi or Servants. And she does stupid things that make her easy to detect, like how she lost her patience and brute-forced a magus's barrier. Who the fuck WOULDN'T notice her? Imagine if she attacked Shirou at his home. He'd know she's there instantly. She has no finesse, no real preparation. Her tactics seem to work well against orthodox magi, but the moment something unexpected happens, she gets caught off guard.
At his prime, Emiya Shirou would probably notice Kiritsugu's foul play. After all, he's probably used to dealing with terrorist tactics. And as for grenades, he literally has a shield that has the properties of seven fortress walls.
I admit I don't know to much about Bazett because I couldn't stand that show but I know the stuff they are dealing with is beyond even what Shirou can pull off.
Are you implying he learned that shield before he was a Counter Guardian? That's absurd,
>he literally has a shield that has the properties of seven fortress walls
"Lance of sure hit, shield of no loss" is probably my favorite scene from the VN. I like how they took Archer using it once and are now shoving it everywhere they can (be it Shirou using it for the second time in ufo's UBW and Archer blocking the Shadow in the new movie, not counting numerous appearances in stuff like Prisma).
>Are you implying he learned that shield before he was a Counter Guardian? That's absurd,
Archer was probably still a servant in the same Grail War he was a Master so it's not impossible.
>that show
what show
Shirou probably couldn't deal with Church Executors either. He's had enough difficulties with Kotomine. Who while strong, isn't exactly the top of the line the Church has to offer. The Church has other monsters under their leash.
Are we talking about Counter Guardian Emiya Shirou or Plain Old Magus Shirou. If it's Counter Guardian Shirou, then yes, the world itself might've supplied him with the knowledge of his enemy's plans, but if it's just Magus Shirou, then I'm gonna have to call bullshit on that. There's no way that he can just magically know the plans of people sent to kill him as most hitmen will probably have no prior connection to Shirou before the hitjob.
And does Magus Shirou even have high resistance to Curses or Poisons? I forget, does he even still have Avalon post-HGW?
>Are you implying he learned that shield before he was a Counter Guardian
Archer probably did in afterlife, but for example UBW Shirou already knows it.
Bazett is actually way stronger in Prisma, to ludicrous levels. In Fate/hollow ataraxia, she's strong, so strong that most orthodox magi can't beat her no matter how hard they try. But her tactics seem to leave a lot of room for her targets to manage to get away.
We're talking about UBW Shirou, who's probably the only Shirou relevant to this discussion. HF Shirou never goes to London. Fate Shirou's up in the air.
>Archer blocking the Shadow in the new movie
Actually, doesn't Shirou use Rho Aias in HF later on? They actually answered the "how did Shirou know about it in the first place".
Archer's timeline went similar to Fate where Shirou saw only Kanshou & Bakyua out of all his projections.
Shirou has, on multiple occasions, shown an ability to sense threats beyond what he can see. He has the instinct to realize his life is in danger because apparently, all of Nasu's protagonists have this trait. Multiple times he manages to defend against attacks he simply should not have seen coming. Blindsiding him is actually surprisingly difficult. He usually gets killed by things he CAN see more often than he does by things that he can't.
Avalon isn't a factor here. Even if he does have it, he can't use it without a connection to Saber.
As he never witnessed it in UBW, he doesn't know it. Like all other UBW abilities.
>They actually answered the "how did Shirou know about it in the first place"
All Archer's knowledge transfered into Shirou the moment he got his arm though.
What are you talking about? Shirou literally uses Rho Aius to defend against Gilgamesh's swordspam. The only Shirou who doesn't have Rho Aius is Fate Shirou, and we don't really know if he even goes to London in the first place.
Dude they’re ALL supposed to be marketing pulls. That’s the entire point, Saber is the company mascot and placing her likeness there acts as a sort of branding. Magical justifications come well after the fact or not at all.
Only HF Shirouu knows it and we know how he ends up.
No it didn't. Shirou doesn't have all of Archer's swords. Because Shirou and Archer's inner worlds are incompatible, he can't just adopt Archer's UBW just because he has Archer's arm. In order to use one of Archer's Noble Phantasms, he has to go through the arm's "archives" and find the one appropriate for the situation.
Ciel is now total moeblob.
>As he never witnessed it in UBW, he doesn't know it. Like all other UBW abilities.

So who made the compass?
Where did you get such good quality? Anyway thanks for the pics.

The images of multiple weapons he never saw before there seem like he knows how to project them now. About inner worlds being incompatible, it's more about not being able to manifest reality marble.
What? Are you kidding me? Are you seriously making me open up the VN to get this shit for you?
>"I see. I am done with hearing your nonsense."
>The numerous Noble Phantasms are released.
>----I'll make it. This is why one of my eyes is open. I pull out a shield from the hill to block the oncoming Noble Phantasms----!
>"Guh----!"
>The swarm of swords batter against the shield. The shield is me myself. My body breaks up as each petal of the shield is pierced and damaged.
>"---Steel is my body, and fire is my blood."
>There's only one place I need to reach. The flowing power fills me to capacity in an instant.
>"Wh----at?"
>What caused his shock? Is it his Noble Phantasms that cannot penetrate through a single shield, or is it the magical energy in front of him?
He doesn't see all the swords. That's why he makes the distinction: If he wants to project a sword, it must be one that he's already seen personally, or he must search through Archer's arm to find the appropriate one.
Yeah because he can keep using that kind of power anytime.
>a sniper!
>better use that noble phantasm that take a few seconds to get ready
Than what is him seeing image of proto Caliburn Gil pulled in Fate route means, for example? We already know he can project Caliburn just from seeing its image in his dreams so it applies to other NPs.
He saw a couple of swords but he clearly didn't see every single sword recorded in Archer's Unlimited Blade Works.
Does he project it? Also,
What makes you think he doesn't see it? Stay Night Shirou becomes an Archer so that Archer can use a Caliburn.
Nigga if Shirou couldn't handle a few snipers then he must have been one shitty ally of justice. Apparently, in your mind, the hero Emiya was a worthless piece of shit who probably got through all his escapades through nothing but sheer luck.
Obviously they won't draw CG for each of thousands NPs Archer has.
Do you honestly think he had to deal with snipers of any kind of skill in the middle east?
Here user anime.elmelloi.com
His activities weren't limited to the Middle East. He went all over the world. He even fought an Imaginary Numbers monster once, though he had to run away because there was nothing he could do about it at the time. He's even worked as a magus killer.
>Does he project it?
It doesn't matter, Archer doesn't project 99.9% of his arsenal in F/SN either.
About >Archer's world and mine are different. I can't reproduce it
Means he can't manifest reality marble
> I can only reproduce what Emiya Shirou has learned, or the Noble Phantasms he has recorded
He saw images of Archer's NPs when arm got attached so they're recorded.
Yeah after he was a CG. Normal Shirou, the Shirou we are discussing having to deal with the Clocktower or Church, isn't at that level.
You are judging Shirou by EMIYA levels.
Was talking about HF Shirou, he never saw proto Caliburn that Gil has.
>He saw images of Archer's NPs when arm got attached so they're recorded.
What in the hell, so apparently he can project anything he wants anyway? Why say that line then?
*Never saw it in person aside from that image.
Nope, before. Nasu said that he dealt with monsters similar to the shadow in life, but was forced to flee. The bizarre idea that he worked only in the Middle East only came up because of the anime.
The reality marble is different from projecting them.
To say that he can't manifest reality marble.
He clearly didn't see every single sword.
He fought Imaginary Numbers monsters before becoming a CG? Bullshit.
What about Caladbolg II? He doesn't see it in HF and yet he can project it during fight with Saber. Also, the entire Zelretch sword thing.
So it just so happens he saw the swords that had CGs already and has nothing to do with not wasting time and money on drawing new weapons?.
Yes, and he had to run away. If he were fighting as a CG, he wouldn't have that luxury.
>Q: In Sakura’s Route, Archer seemed to already know of the existence of beings like Angra Mainyu. Did he have experience in battling this type of enemy in other eras?
>A: He fought such things when he was alive, but had to retreat because there was nothing he could do. Also, after reaching the Throne of Heroes, he gained an understanding of the target of the Counter Force.
Look at Archer's expression when Shadow first appears.
If he did see all of them, there'd be no need to make a distinction in the first place. He wouldn't need to search through Archer's arm at all, since all the swords would already be in his own world. The narrative saying that only makes logical sense if Shirou has't recorded every one of Archer's swords. There must be weapons in Archer's arm that he hasn't seen.
He searched through Archer's arm. Same with Aias.
I love this show so much. Reines is cool.
It is just actually another type-moon work falling in line with Mahoutsukai no Yoru's worldview.
It's pretty much anime onlies and people only aware of Servant's being in Rail zeppelin who see it as a Fate in particular property since they don't recognize the other stuff going on
But how is that a problem when it comes to the original topic that was about movie explaining how Shirou can project rho aias? He just searched archer's arm for a strong shield to overpower Excalibur before the battle then.
This.
>waah, a guy from church appeared, must be a tsukihime spinoff
Is it explained where Gray got Rhongomyniad from?
>Zouken needed Sakura to revive the Makiri family
He was never planning on reviving the family, user. He threw her in the wormpit on the first night for shits and giggles. Whatever his intentions were, and they were in a way noble, they degraded over the four hundred years of life.
Read the LN
Yeah, but that's the cover story he fed to Tokiomi.
Then why did he even bother asking for a heir from Tokiomi? Or rather, why of all families Tokiomi had to pick the Matou? I mean, assuming Tokiomi didn't know how fucked up Zouken is, mage secret and what not, surely he at least had some suspicions about how shady that old fuck is.
It's another copy, functionally, but Ore Scales is weird, and also applies to more than just the crest (e.g. they had two Sabers in the Third War, because of Ore Scales). It was fucked up for a while when one of the Edelfelt heirs was claimed by the Tohsakas, too. The Case Files novels also discuss how the Edelfelts are the hyenas of the magic world, and scavenge + incorporate all sorts of magic that they can't use into their crest, just for the sake of having it.
Tokiomi isn't very bright person and he only thought about this situation from magus perspective.
Holy shit, I have to finally read it, by my moon is still on the level of 5 minutes for one page with jisho.
What did Trimmau do with Melvin's blood? Does she absorb it into her own body and use it for power or something?
Vomits it into the trash bin.
>Then why did he even bother asking for a heir from Tokiomi?
Tokiomi looked at it from a magus perspective, meaning he thought that Zouken asking for a child to revitalise the bloodline was entirely reasonable.
Zouken, however, was working at it from a perspective of "create an heir for the 5th/6th war instead" but because he's so decayed in intention and morality, he immediately stopped caring and switched to "going to try for 5th/6th war with this worm-filled guinea pig" instead, so he basically forgets or stops caring and shoves her in the worm pit.
>The Case Files novels also discuss how the Edelfelts are the hyenas of the magic world, and scavenge + incorporate all sorts of magic that they can't use into their crest, just for the sake of having it.
Is that a Sanda original thing or did Sanda get that from Nasu? If it's the latter, it's just all kinds of dumb that Sakura wasn't thrown to the Edelfelts in the first place.
>giving Sakura to your rival
Zouken is operating on a level most mages can only dream of.
I'll wait until it's fully translated. Thank you very much. I'm not blueballing myself
That will be 4+ years away. Are you really willing to wait that long?
I have doubts that it will ever be fully translated.
Is Olga Marie ever going to catch a break? It seems like her whole life is composed of crying and suffering.
>not learning Japanese
This is the true blueballing.
It hurts, and I don't have the time
>Not learning two entire sets of characters and centuries of context just to understand a language at a grade-school level.
Yikes.
At least I can wait for fsf and requiem haha
Nasu said Bazett could easily murder Shirou even in his peak. He doesn't consider Shirou a big deal without his plot armor.
Why does she want to be Waver's mistress? I mean, I get that she's attracted to him, that's fine. But he's not married.
He could probably escape if she operates like she did in F/ha.
Forbidden/taboo romance yields better chuu2 point that just plain vanilla romance.
I think Moriarty is in on this as well.
>He
Excuse me, my Bazzett is a female(true)
>two entire sets of characters
what the shit, kana is easy as hell
They'll hire this guy and Shirou will be dead easy. Even if he's a child in that timeline, he'll get the job done since he's a prodigy.
compare back then to today's tm threads
His peak refers to Shirou.
Not according to Nasu.
>implying Pepe will kill Shirou instead of discussing seigi no mikata stuff together
Also another bonus point is that both of them are nips too
Pepe at that point is still in full Itachi mode though. He had a rough childhood.
Nasu only said she'd beat him. He didn't say he couldn't run away. Shirou managed to escape from people who are stronger than him before.
...
He'll adopt the self orphan made kid and the kid would be forced to kill him in the future for tragic points. It's the exact kind of thing Nasu likes.
The worst kind of newfaggots.
Would really like the scenario where Shirou adopts Pepe, without forced tragedy. It kind of makes sense of Shirou to encounter him eventually because they are heading the same direction. They wouldn't have in FGO timeline where Shirou either died or never became as fucked up and led a normal life.
How did Hephaestion become a woman? If Waver somehow summons Iskander will he appear as a female this time?
That already got spoiled a dozen in times itt
>How did Hephaestion become a woman?
she isn't Hephaestion
Faker is Hephaestion's sister, not Hephaestion. She has a connection with him and Iskandar because she was the magic double (shadow), you know who got all the curses directed at them, as prepared by Olympia.
