I wouldn't even say that's the case, because if you look at it, BnHA characters' designs just follow right along their character traits. If you look at Tsuyu you know "she the frog hoe", if you look at IIda "oh he the nerd", etc.
Midoriya = incel self-insert
Bakugo = Bully
Todoroki = EDGE
Kirishima = muscle no brains
earplug girl (who gives a fuck what her name is) = Does something with Sound Waves/Music duhh
Uraraka = Incel's love interest (that's her sole fucking purpose and you know it)
