what do you mean by game changer? Sure madoka inspired a handful of edgy magical girl shows but something like sao inspired a truck load of light novel isekai adaptations. Of course that doesnt make sao good

SAO is anime of the decade. There is no case against its influence on the isekai genre, good or bad.
Madoka managed to have a couple of clones but SAO managed to flood the industry with isekai.

Ping pong was good but let’s be real? It’s nothing like Madoka. I’m saying that as somebody who enjoyed both. As far as AOTD goes I feel like anybody who has taken the time to watch Madoka and wasn’t put off by it being a magical girl should would agree it’s the easy AOTD.

Vinland saga or SnK. Madoka is really good but definitly not Aotd and ping-pong is crap.

I almost feel as though fans of both these series would never watch the other because of how different they appear to be. That being said as somebody who has watched and enjoyed both I’d give the AOTD to Madoka with runner up being Monogatari.

AOTD isn’t a popularity contest otherwise Pokémon is AOTD. It’s the best overall anime of the decade. The closest you could get to judging the quality of an anime like that would be awards and Madoka has easily won the most awards. It even beat out Evangelion in total awards.

Okay two good arks , I forget about the Chairman election arc, which is just build up for the boat ark and with this release schedule the mangaka will die before its done.
