This series may be a bit unbelievable just because of the premise and a bit cliche because of how dense the protagonist is, but I still like it.
If you spray it directly it definitely hurts it, but any effect it has will be reduced. The residuals that the spray leaves won't kill any new spiders that come by.

it's a monthly seinen gyaru series kind of a small niche (pronounced neesh for any ESLs out there that might have heard americans bastardise it by pronouncing it nitch)
the only really significant monthly seinen popular on Yea Forums I can think of is probably dungeon meshi

Most of the gyaru titles get decent engagement on Yea Forums and often overlap in fanbases/threads yet even in those threads fuufu is hardly ever even brought up. Honestly I think the haremshit angle combined with the forced drama of the basic premise kinda killed it from the get-go

It's a borderline outlandish premise that even in a nation of concentrated autism like Japan they would participate in a such an odd bit of social engineering but then only in a select school that so many would simply opt to not enroll their children in and it's just glazed over like it's that hackneyed premise of students raising an egg as a child. All in the name of forced drama and stretching out a stagnant love triangle between three people who are so withdrawn from telling their true feelings it's getting harder to sympathize with them
