She's an agriculture high school student. Somehow, she convinces Nobunaga to let her do her agricultural things in a starving village, and she manages to improve crop productivity and gain a land and workers where she can do more agricultural things. In the end, /his/ is barely present outside of a general timeline that his pretty much restricted to "meanwhile, Oda was wrecking shit in Mino". The story is almost entirely focused the the MC doing her stuff in her valley.
Overall, it's pretty comfy, and the agricultural stuff is much more detailed and "realistic" than the usual "hey, here's crop rotation magic, now you won't ever starve again, let's never talk again about this anymore, by the way this is onions and miso, the food of gods". Would recommend.

One is where revenge is central to the whole story, this is the more traditional type and usually doesn't involve isekai and just time travel, and usually is just gujian and not fantasy stuff. Even then, like I said, there's a hell lot of comfy chapters, cause again, it's impossible for it to be pure spite pure vileness, etc etc. If you think these stories are Female Reverend Insanity, I'm sorry but that just isn't the case, cause remember, the primary reader base whether English or the native Chinese, are women. No matter how much catharsis they want, they don't wanna bottle it up 24/7, they still want their comfy family, their comfy pet, their prince charming to have silly shenanigans over.
The other more common trend that takes place in current chink otome, is that the MC transmigrates into the girl's body cause the body's owner died or some shit, ya know Mushoku Tensei style. And during that, the MC gains the memory of the old body or talks to their ghost and what not, and therefore decides to get revenge for the old host simply to put their spirit to rest or to act as a payment for allowing the MC for a second chance at life. This usually ends up in the typical xianxia vengeance of fucking over the young master/lady siblings and eventually separating from the house the MC was in because they were too petty with their internal strife to give a fuck about the old host which was what got them killed in the first place.
After the vengeance takes place though, then the MC will start their comfy adventure usually acting like an expert cause the MC's past life tends to be all sorts of crazy shit, otherwise it'll just be a fujo hikki or a normalfag office lady, there's a lot of variety. But point is, it gets comfy from there because in this trend, the MC is usually very competent but because she's a woman, she has little ambition and just wants comfort.
