Punished Toga

A Waifu denied a canon ship

Joke aside, will she keep a blinded eye even when transforming into someone else? That would be a HUGE nerf

Hope so. Also Purification arc when?

>Purification Arc
Why??

Maybe they hurt Toga to deter japanese weirdos from cosplaying as her and killing people like that once chick a few months ago who stabbed that one guy

>will she keep a blinded eye even when transforming into someone else?
Logically, no. She fully becomes another person to the point of being able to use their quirk, she sure as hell should be capable of using their eyesight.

Pretty shure Hori just dig the eyepatch estheatic

People aren't actually disowning her for the eyepatch are they? What do the nips think?

"Purification"? What do you even mean by that? If you mean redemption then soon, hopefully.

Why would people want her to be a good guy?? Not to mention that would go against ever character arc she went trough

>Why would people want her to be a good guy?
Because she's cute, user. I can't pretend that's not at least 50% of the reasoning, even for me. The other aspect is that she, like several villains, has shown to be severely mentally ill in a way markedly influenced by her quirk. She's a representation of how society has failed to properly care for the mental health of people whose quirks influence their behavior. People want to see her get the care she needs and be redeemed - though in my eyes this isn't in the fashion of "joining the hero side" but being committed to a mental hospital.

Hero are the thesis is MHA, they are the part of the system that works and do good
Vilains are the antithesis, they are getting fucked by the system

If the heroes win and the vilains are just given a redemption/recovery then I'll be the first guy telling the whole manga is a big sac of turd.

There needs to be a antithesis where society is change and while deku is still a hero and do good the system was marked forever and changed by the vilains actually for the better, this is how the manga will logically end. Screencap if you doubt my words

TL;DR : Toga will stay a part of the "antithesis"

Society obviously needs to change, I'm not debating that. What I'm suggesting is that a redemption for someone like Toga would be a part of this change - it would mean society recognizing and admitting its fault in being unable to care for her and trying to make amends. Of course, it could just as easily be that she dies a villain in order to prompt change, but it will be one of the two: either she stays a villain until defeated and killed/imprisoned or she becomes redeemed at the end. As I said, it's no doubt people only former the redemption option because she's cute.

>wanting her to get redeemed
fucking kill yourselves dekucks

Toga belongs to Twice

Wanting her to be redeemed doesn't necessarily mean shipping her with Deku, although Toga being a shared mistress to Izuocha is basically the patrician's ship.

I suggest we turn a blind eye to this and just enjoy the manga.

I bet you feel incredibly clever, right?

I mean she can use the powers of the people she copies now, so that's a major power up. Weakening her disguise skills would make her a less effective infiltrator, but she still got an insane upgrade.

She's not even blind. She probably just hurt the area around the eye and needed surgery.

Don't let your anger blind you, user; what's done is done.

you can loose an eye from sheer force without getting the eye pierced you know?

>Vilains are the antithesis, they are getting fucked by the system
Not really.

That's what happened to Theodore Motherfucking Roosevelt. Got his retina detached in a boxing match.

>Wanting her to be redeemed doesn't necessarily mean shipping her with Deku
yes it does. There's literally 0 reason to want Toga to stop being a villain other than to justify Deku dicking her

I have a massive boner for redemption in general. Couple that with me liking her and wanting her to have a happy end then it's easy to see why I want that to happen. Redemption arcs are great so long as they're actual arcs and not instant conversions.

giving Toga a redemption arc would require insane amounts of mental gymnastics to justify, it makes no sense to either the plot as a whole or her character arc in general, that's why the only people who want it are braindead shipfags

>it makes no sense to either the plot as a whole or her character arc in general
The plot that involves a large number of villain's spurned by society using society's faults to amass an empire and oppose the status quo? The character arc about a mentally ill girl with a physiology that skewed her perception of reality who was spurned by society rather than helped and has now become further twisted? Yeah, no, I guess you're right that neither of those is addressed by society recognizing its failures and making amends by giving her the care she needs to recover from the neglect and helping her to become more healthy and balanced as an individual.

>Implying that the writer of MHA understands Hegelian dialectics.

Not to mention that the moment she gets her redemption, she will job hard.

She wouldn't be fighting then. She'd be in a mental hospital and would be relegated to being a non-combatant.

almost every time she appears, Toga reiterates the fact that she enjoys hurting people and follows Shigaraki so she can hurt people. She's a total mental case who can only be stopped by getting put down. That was the point of the Chitose fight, she's already past the point where therapy could have helped her

to be fair you don't need to be very smart to understand it
