I've been slowly watching it, i feel kinda bad skipping it back when it aired. The animation style is really good and refreshing and most anime feel dull in comparison when I look back on them. I wish more directors tried to experiment with animation like that.

personally I felt like it was really good until nui shows up, which was at the same time probably the best scene in the series and the start of it becoming way less interesting almost immediately after with the dumb monster ryuko stuff

KlK is complete shit though, it's anime equivalent of a self-aware b movie. I'd call it style over substance, but it doesn't even try to pretend having any substance, it's fine with being crap. I guess some people enjoy it as a turn-your-brain-off type of a show.

The second half of KLK was utter trash.
TTGL has:
Better villians
Better characters
Better plot
Better power system
Better action
More memorable quotes and dialogue.
The only thing KLK has is the ludicrous amounts of trashy shameless fanservice.

Eh, KLK is good fun and inventive animation along with a cool OST, but the story and characters aren't anything memorable. Plus there's that weird lesbian incest rape thing that makes no sense tonally with the rest of the show.

This, and all it had going for in terms of style was mediocre fanservice and boring action.
I can understand liking things that are stupid yet entertaining but KlK just kind of sucked and there are better options within the genre.
