grow up underage

Gash a cute.

>genre

yes

>shounen
>genre
pick one and only one

what's his endgame, lads?

Based
How anybody can look at dr stone and fire force and then tell me they are the same genre is a fucking mystery to me

The shit you like is on fire and never coming back.
Get the fuck out of this hobby.

Is OP implying that Gash Bell is cringe?

Unfortunately the fire is just going to make kyoani and moeshit in general stronger than ever

CATCH MY HEART

how can teenagers be a genre?

PG-13 is the worst film genre.

ADVENTURE

>Genre

>a category of artistic composition, as in music or literature, characterized by similarities in form, style, or subject matter.
Subject matter

being marketed at teenagers doesn't mean teenagers are the subject matter.

yes user. the majority of Shounen stories are about old men in their 80's. you fucking retard. the subject matter is a bunch of youths and things they do

Anime or Manga for Zatchbell?

>the majority of Shounen stories
So what about the ones that aren't? You ever read a sci-fi story that didn't have any technology in it?

Seems like you're only reaching on what terms mean but shounen is not a genre the way you are trying to stretch things.

Manga is more complete and not fucked up the ending, but anime has good songs.

How can fire force be an adventure if the entire thing takes place inside a small city and their is no difficulty whatsoever in getting from place to place

By this point vegeta must be pushing 80 with goku not far behind.

There's obviously two meanings to the word in vernacular. One is the demographic and the other is a distinct and very prevalent type of genre that follow the same conventions (DB, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc). You're a moron if you think the usage of the word shounen is only applied to the former.

Wrong brainlet that's specifically called battle shounen

Hell, Toriko is a shounen about a bunch of 20+ year old guys and their far older peers fighting over food storages.

>You're a moron if you think the usage of the word shounen is only applied to the former.
People aren't dumb enough to buy into the "shounen is a genre" rhetoric. It is not consistent with any definition of genre and neither you nor anyone before you can provide an adequate descriptor for what Shounen as a genre even means.

What fucking simuralities do dragon ball and one piece have besides both being action shows

Manga

Only when the writer is an idiot.
Thanks god there are talentfull mangaka like togashi and isayama.

>Be cool
>Be a hippo

>both being action shows
That's all you really need.
There's also the trademark power creep, probably. Haven't touched either in ages so I'm not sure.

USTED QUERRA DECIR ZATCH

since when were you under the impression i didnt cast shin poroku?

>shounen is manga/anime for 10-18 year old boys
>If you hate it you must be underage

Attached: 1468784983273.jpg (500x500, 63K)

that would be Yaoi
t. homo

Manga all the way, but when you are there in the manga watch the anime's:
>Folgore songs
>Patty song
>Victoreem song
>Leila song (manga chapter 146)
>Coral Q song
>Big Boing song

Not really. It's just bland. WSJ is quite meritocratic, but they use the readers' taste as a merit. This results in most series sticking to a formula, with slight differences, and very little experimentation. They aren't shit, they aren't cringe, they're simply meh.

Kanchome is the puppetmaster behind King Gash and never truly got over his insane power trip

>hatting a manga/anime aimed at 10-18 yo boys
>im so mature!!!

If you're specifically talking about shounen romcoms, then yes.

are you okay pedro? Did you have a seizure?

15-17 year olds are the only people that genuinely hate things targeted to the 10-18 demographic.

t. actual amerimutt shitskin who thinks he's mature for watching maid dragon

Logical conclusion, but I don't. Yes, most of them suck, but it's also true to moe, mecha, 2deep4u anime, and basically every genre on earth. Even I have shounens I like, HxH and Soul Eater.

I have an enormous Gash Bell folder.

Please do not use Gash to shitpost

Was about to say, please don't. Gash Bell might have had a massive "Power of friendship" ending but man was it well executed.

Yeah, it's pretty cringe desu. No layer of irony will make it less cringe.

Shonen anime is cheesy as all hell, but that's part of the charm.

I do believe he is, based Tsukushi Tsutsukakushi poster

>massive "Power of friendship" ending
But that isn't an issue when we are outright told that strong emotions make the demon kids stronger. Magic is powered by love, hate, etc.

this was a good shounen though, manga was great and had a good ending

You have to go back.

Based and seinenpilled
Cringe and sh*Nenpilled.

It's actually one of the best, right behind Seinen.
It goes Seinen > Shonen > Shoujo > Gay shit > Toddlercon masquerading as moe.

That's yaoi

Not as cringe as OP's faggotry

One of the cases where I vote both.
I prefer the anime for the early arcs and the manga for the latter arcs.

Regardless of you not knowing what 'shonen' means, the most cringy genres are either the harem variant of the time (battle harems, isekai harems , etc.), or the seasonal moe/cgdct schlock.

Ecchi Harem shows are.

cringe, yes, but it has it's moments.
