Kirito saves her from being overwhelmed by a bunch of enemies in Lost Song. We get a quick overview of her character before she joins the group. Since she was added in a free update, there's not much you can do with her other than tossing her in your group so you can hear some of her comments. Wasted potential basically since she's sidelined so hard. The two of them do meet in the manga but I haven't really kept up with Girls Op.

If Donut shows up in future games, they’ll probably make you choose between default male or default female. There’s no way they’ll let you customise them again.

Fatal Bullet is a decent loot and shoot with a rushed shitty plot but decent amounts of content after all the DLC

It depends on what you want. Do you enjoy the characters of SAO? Then I recommend Hollow Fragment and Hollow Realization as the best choices. Fatal Bullet is fine as a shooter, since it was developed by the same guys who did Freedom Wars. Lost Song is very bare bones but I think it’s fine at a cheap price. Accel World vs Sword Art Online is recommended if you are an AW fan at all since don’t expect that franchise to get another anime any time soon.

The story structure is still hilariously bad and awkward though. They just shot themselves in the foot with the ending and couldn't implement the DLC seamlessly as a result so you have to do that dumbass thing where you exit the main story campaign and have to access the DLC stories from the menu like you do for Kirito mode (which was also horribly implemented, literally no reason to play as Kirito beyond the obligatory shitty rehash of GGO's plot since he's so horribly gimped compared to Donut). And despite the DLCs being more or less a continuous storyline each of them is still their own campaign for whatever reason.

She just sorta lives with it. They never address that it's even AIDS to begin with. I think the most that they say is that Yuuki has a condition but I can't remember beyond that. She's improving in health too so no chances of it ever being an issue for her ever again.

The latter. I think the idea is that no matter what, Kirito is involved with Asuna, but he can hook up with other girls whenever he wants, hence Asuna being a cuckqueen in the gameverse.
