A bit shameful, I was expecting 2 hours
is Mary Sue ded?
Subs fucking when?
where sub
i saw this movie with subs IRL
ama
What was the smell like?
was it good, did tanya kill commies yet
It just came out, it will probably take a bit
It was alright. We live in a single large employer town (we make tractors), lots of people from the factory took a company van to go watch the movie. So just ordinary men
there are L O T S of commie deaths. its a solid 8/10
Nice, going to have to check it out now.
What's pic related's kill count?
Is the movie supposed to a direct sequel to season 1?
just a few no name mages, none of duck's squad mates die
Yes, it bridges season 1 with what could be them someday maybe working on season 2, provided Kadokawa can currently unfuck itself
They really went all out with the body language, very cute
I hope NUT makes season 2 one day, I really fucking do
Which LN volumes does it cover? I just finished LN vol. 6 yesterday.
The African campaign ones
In the good John Bull spirit. Churbull is his name. Please mind your Queen's Dialect, thank you.
Wasn't that only vol. 3 though? And Mary Sue the mary sue didn't even appear there. She only appeard later when it's already well into "Federation" arc.
The anime/movie don't follow the same timeline of events, if I had to say one volume it would be the start of volume 5
Meh, vol. 4 and 5 were the worst of the bunch. Nothing really happened.
I need the illustrations at the end of the movie goddamn
The first time Tanya and Mary sue fight is over the English Channel between the formation of the first and the second Salamander Kampfgruppe. So that's right before the Federation Arc and right after she gets recalled from Rommel's Command.
In the LN the formation of the first Salamander Kampfgruppe happens AFTER Tanya leaves Rommel's command. I forgot how the anime handled the later parts since I only watched through them once a long while ago.
My B. It was a search and rescue mission over the commonwealth. It was after Tanya's crew was recalled from the Eastern Front. This is before the Kampfgruppe has been formed. It was near the end of volume 4.
What the hell was that chase near the end?
First they show some chopped animation of duck and mary like the cop craft action scenes and then they fucking switch to 3d models.
She's such a fucking faggot she should just die
bump
So is dwang subbing this?
The Fatherland will wipe these communist roaches off the face of Europa.
>IGN
uh?
ign put a clip of the movie on their youtube channel
Oh shit its been 2 fucking years, finally.
Do they have a banger like los los?
youtu.be
I didn't know that IGN dabbled on anime stuff
What's OP's link it's just a black box.
Sub fucking when soldiers!!??
Movie was great though, been waiting so long for it and it was worth.
Just need subs now so I can understand what the fuck everyone was talking about when noty shooting at eachother.
This movie played in theaters with subs months ago, how did it not come on the Blu-ray or something, I feel like we should have it
I saw it in theaters subbed. A woman in her late 20s and her dad sat next to me... Her dad went to sleep 5 minutes after sitting down and proceeded to enter a neverending cycle of waking up and falling asleep, all while snoring loud as fuck. Sonzai X must hate me
He must've had a rough day.
What the fuck is wrong with their noses?
yeah, it was weird watching chopping animation in a movie, plus it changes into 3d models a few scenes later, making it more weird
Bumped and seeding.
It premiered in theaters with subs and the Japs must have known westerners would buy the blu ray so why not just include the subbed version with it?
subs where
You gotta wait for another 5 hours.
Nice I watched the anime just two weeks ago this is great
God I hope the Spring 2020 screenings in Germany are just German subbed rather than dubbed over, I want a theatre experiencejust from listening to the OST.
Only complaint is that Rememberance is a weaker track than Jingo Jungle and especially Los Los Los.
>2 characters standing opposite eachother to highlight their rivalry
>everyone else stands around randomly with no clear target, motive or enemy
do they hire monkeys to composite these posters?
It's the BD box cover.
...ok, and?
>stand randomly
are you stupid?
>dude in the middle looks at the viewer as the only one
>another dude has his back to the camera, no ide a why
>whole group at the bottom looks to the right but there's nobody to look at, and one dude looks in a different way for no reason, and their gazes don't meed with two people on the left who look their way but are too high on the poster
>dudes in top right corner are absolutely random, every one is different in their pose, shading and expression
it's fucking horrible, there's no cinsistency anywhere in this picture. it's like somebody threw up on the concept board
>Zettour looks upwards thoughtfully because he's a philosophical planner type
>Van Rudersdorf looks like an old guard dog looming over the scene
>Von Lergen looks at the real monster in the skin of a little girl he finally encountered
>Weiss looks at her because he's the most focussed and second in command of the battalion
>Grantz looks like he has a thousand yard stare because he can't cope as usual
>Visha looks forward without fear because she always trusts in Tanya
>Mary looks at the cap that represents Tanya as a soldier of the empire
>Tanya looks at the computation jewel that represents the power behind her enemy
>Drake looks like a fucking dick
I could go on but it sems pretty accurate.
yeah i agree with all that, but you're talking about character presentation, i'm talking about composition.
I'm kind of still waiting to see the final product when AmiAmi finally gets the shipping done. It seems like a bunch of the books included in the Limited Edition, like the Staff Book that was given to moviegoers, have had their full-art covers replaced with pretty standard ones, which makes them kinda less cool on the shelf. So in general waiting to see what they did in terms of arts and covers.
Clearly movie discussion isn't keeping these threads alive and we've got links in here to help anons find it, so let's post some ducks.
>5 hours
Source on that chief?
In theory someone could get the sub file from the US screenings I guess, but that's my only guess as to what he would mean.
is it even possible for someone to remember all the lines in the movie after 3 months?
I said file, mate. Either the actual file with the subs added to the raw data of the movie, the finished compound file, or just a transcript file of the subs.
Also goddammit AmiAmi, your business hours are ending and you haven't shipped my Limited Edition yet.
Honestly kind of disappointed the BD books all got generic covers instead of the ones you got in theatre. Pic related would look great on shelves.
Absolutely aryan
Damn, Russians look like this?
Peak beauty!
Wish the part where she was barred from the officer's bar made it in.
I can't really imagine Visha not hanging out with her instead.
Visha in the books is a little more independent I think. And a real G at gathering intel.
I did like the little touches in the movie where Visha is putting down crates for Tanya to stand on.
I don't know, I just don't really like how the picture makes Visha look, especially in terms of basically not caring at all about Tanya, which even in the LN is a bit of a stretch.
Tanya's a big girl. She doesn't need help all the time.
It's not about Tanya needing help, it's about how attached Visha usually is to her, along with being her adjutant.
At this point she should know better than to celebrate anything.
