Yea Forums is a unique case of a good board that was single handedly ruined by moderation instead of an influx of bad users. Yea Forums had amazing self-moderation before when shounenshit would get dubspammed and rec threads would get reported and told to fuck off. I don't know what happened in the past few years. No fun is allowed here anymore fireden at least hosted 2015/2016 images from Yea Forums click on any fucking image that hasn't been posted since 2016, it's dead

And I will point out that all moderation must be a conjoined effort of the mods and the users. Self-moderation does not work without mods. Yea Forums used to get special treatment by the mods. That's why self-moderation here worked well. And in the same vein, the mods are to be blamed for much of what went wrong in the past few years, but changing demographics on Yea Forums are also at fault.
