Kabuki brush.

Clean as in washing or clean as in dusting?

For dusting I use a makeup brush with very soft bristles. You can get those pretty cheap, the one I use is an E.L.F brand makeup brush for use on the face. Face brushes seem to be ideal as they're designed to be gentle as to not irritate sensitive facial skin. I also find that the "poofier" a brush is the better, since all the bristles can get into the crevices of a more complex figure and get all the dust. After I finish I just rinse the brush off with water and let it dry.

As for cleaning, if I have to I use cold running water. Hot water can damage the plastic/paint. If you have to use soap, use the gentlest possible soap you can find, and don't scrub with anything rougher than the soft side of a sponge. Don't scrub too hard either. A "No tears" baby soap seems like it would be a good fit, it's designed to not have too many chemical irritants, which also means it isn't very chemically basic. I should stress that this should be done as sparingly as possible though. Even gentle washing methods are risky and can deteriorate paint jobs fast. So stop cumming on your figures unless you are prepared to replace them.

If you are trying to get rid of leaked plasticizer or mold release though warm water is the way to go.

Never shopped with them before but there's a nendo that was released early last year that has a few reviews from earlier this month on TOM so I'm guessing they had a recent restock of it, would it have been a fluke since I'm well aware gsc doesn't restock?

Riko is definitely the better of the two. She has great paint with nothing really spilling over. Reg is solid as well with no issues worth mentioning. There's not much in the way of shading but the color pallete of the figures is kind towards that kind of coloring. Both of their faces are a little potato-y but not in quite the same way as the anime or manga art but it's not bad.

Only real gripe is the angle the characters sit on their stands and the base is boring and would look better without the flowers.

How do you guys feel about figmas? I honestly regret buying them since statues and even nendoroids are much better looking. Most of the time the stand on the figmas won't even attach to their backs because the hole is either too loose or too small.

Depends on the figma. The ones that look good my only regret is usually the size. 13cm compared to the 20 of a scale can be pretty meh. I wish they were in the 16-18 range, especially when they're the only version of a character in that outfit.
