The whole series is. It's really weird because the manga is, to be honest, pretty generic and nothing very outstanding -- fun, but not much more. And yet the artistic effort put into the anime goes above and beyond what's necessary and does a lot for the emotion and impact of scenes that feel a bit rushed or unimportant in the manga.
