Closer adaptation of the manga with the rape when

Well considering Fruits Basket got one and KareKano was apparently popular when it was releasing and its creator disliked the anime adaptation too it's not a too far off idea to see a remake happen one day down the line.

I won't lose hope

Now watch Kodocha, its like Karekano but with 100 episodes.
Also, Sana a qt

Isn't a bd coming out soon?

>remake

You were a mistake and I hope you die.

>with the rape
w-what?

>Re make when?
without anno's direction it would suck.
remakes all suck.
there has never been a good remake.

And it'll be completely forgettable because Anno won't be directing it.
Let's face it, the manga is shit. It's a wonderful anime but precisely because Anno did his own thing with it, which is why the author disliked it.

Fucking hell, someone mentions some old show in one thread and immediately a bunch of threads pop up about it.

>girl with a bright future becomes pregnant and is stuck on being a mother
>guy with traumatic past decides to become a cop
It was a shit ending. Just keep the memory of the anime.

It fell apart after Anno left the production

Did anyone ever finish subbing that shit?

Also I don't see many similarities between that and Kare Kano, it's good shit though.

Oh shit it ends like that?

Fuck.

Thank god I watched this in 2004

But Fruits Basket is still popular enough to warrant a spinoff/sequel. There's nothing of that sort for KareKano.

>During her senior year in high school, Yukino becomes pregnant. She marries Soichiro after graduation, marrying at a young age as her parents did. Although her apparent goal in high school was to become a politician or a lawyer, it is later revealed that she wanted to be a doctor, but put the dream aside because it was financially out of her family's reach, and because Soichiro and Maho both wanted to be doctors too.

It has HK crabsticks subs for the second part, but its somewhat easy to understand whats going on.

It's fully subbed in french

Hopefully never. It was great as it is even if the last episodes are the way they are

Don't worry it was consensual.

> its like Karekano but with 100 episodes.
it's also like karekano in that there's a part that would make a great ending, but then it keeps going with the same stupid "the boy and the girl start flirting with other people for a while before ending back up together at the end" shit that plagues so many series like this because that's the only way to force drama

why she look like Kazuma Azuma from "Yakitate Japan"?

They have to fill up 100 episodes somehow.

A remake would be a terrible idea. Especially for this because it was made what it is by the director and nothing else.
And the mangaka probably still hates the anime and would demand it being exactly like the manga.

People say it got bad after Anno left, but it's not bad, it's just what it would be like with a different director. It'd lose what made it special.

Anno was right about focusing in the comedy, the mangaka had too many edge and couldn’t get the reason behind making a wholesome story instead of a soap opera. See how the story end, mangaka was just in other tune.

IMO I think Anno was getting out of his depression with this anime, too bad he left the production. If it were to be remade it would lose that quality, plus I dont think they would get Anno to direct it again.
Personally, I enjoyed the comedy parts more than the drama, same situation with Kodocha.

Imagine making three TV anime and all of them facing major production issues. Was Anno cursed or just incompetent?

He was too good.
If he made Nadia slightly shittier, there'd be no demand for additional episodes, and it could've gone as intended.

I don't know what happened in Evangelion, but he probably wanted it to be too good.

In Kare Kano there was no way around it. To make Kare Kano good, he had to do what he did. The alternative would be a close adaptation of the manga, that would be less good.

KareKano had like 3 recap episodes before Anno left, there were clearly problems before.
