Well the art was only starting to look good aroung Golden Age, but even so, left is better. Something is so flat and 2D about her on the right, probably starting with the position and size of her shoulder... yes, proportions are basically the same on both pics but while left is obviously stylized and simplified, right tries to be realistic with those unrealistic proportions. It's detailed but somehow not alright, reminds me of the deviantart drawings. Slapping realistic details like singular eyelashes and tearducts on manga eyes, the eyebrows shape is weird even if he drew every hair... continue down this road and you get uncanny valley. You wouldn't expect such things from such a weathered artist.

The most pathetic attempt at shilling a trash series I've ever read. No user, here's the actual scientifically proven truth: most mangas show what they really are about in the first volume. If they have a hidden thematic direction that too will be forshadowed in the first chapters though either specific characters or scenes. For example, Miura's love for moe can be felt with the way he delivers Puck scenes. Same with other series like HxH, where the dark tone can be felt here and there with specific characters. From what you fags posted here it shows Bastard is the same thing at the end as it was at the start - a schlocky hentaiesque comedy action series with not much action except magic battles and a random retarded plot that changes direction as the wind blows. Schneider is a joke character with no depth and he spouts stupid shit most of the time. Has no insight or wisdom for someone his age, and acts like a comedic stereotype beta typical for the 80's. Even Ataru from Urusei Yatsura didn't get his ass kicked by a girl as much as Schneider, the wannabe vagina slayer.

And another thing - there's a reason why series flop. Every story, especially a manga, needs one or two very strong premises or characters to hold the weight of the series. Bastard had nothing. You do realize this gets addressed, for instance being reincarnated in the kid changed him and made him more human. Another example being those times he almost ended up dead because he prioritized saving those dear to him.
