Any of you use a tablet for reading manga? I usually read at work (retail) so I have to use my phone on my break but it's kind of small
Any of you use a tablet for reading manga...
>but it's kind of small
Like your dick
Try one of the Amazon Fire tablets. They still use Android as a source so you can sideload apps on it.
Yeah, I use a Samsung Galaxy tab 3, pretty nice.
galaxy tab s2 with manga rock with an unlimited data plan. nice OLED screen and unlimited manga. I also recommend tachiyomi for mangadex support because mangarock is dumb.
to add to this,
Don't use an iPad for manga. Not many good apps because of apples app store policies and their screens are not OLED.
I hav an iPad 6th gen and honestly the only manga I read on it are from websites, like niggastream
Manga rock has an app for the galaxy tablets? And how much is the unlimited plan
Use store wi-fi?
Did you even read my post? The issue is my phone's small screen, not the wifi
Which app/browser/website do you prefer?
I use a Chromebook Plus which is not so much a tablet as it is a foldable laptop. The resolution is great though.
Android tablets are all horrible though.
Yes. An iPad since the original launched, Currently using a 2018 value iPad with MangoRock and iComic. Works great
get an e-ink reader unless you're some sort of casual
Looks nice but unnecessary. E-ink is nice for reading text because it's easy on the eyes, but your eyes don't need to focus like that for manga. Plus I enjoy color pages
e-ink makes me cream my shorts, but you're shit outta luck if you want color
>color
I got a 8.0 Samsung Galaxy Tab A for sub 100usd on ebay and its been great.
I can only read physical manga most of the time unless there's no other choice. I probably have unchecked Auts.
Back when my surface RT wasn't a slow piece of shit and was still sported, I used it for mango. It was pretty good. Now I mostly read on my phone, but yeah, it's pretty small. I just want color e ink that is accurate and cheap so I can fap to muh colorized hentai.
why you asking about unlimited plan pricing then?
I have an old nook tablet I use solely for reading manga. Its the perfect size and weight to bring into the bathroom.
Ugly transitions.
I have an old ipad 1 that I got for free when a family member upgraded. application choices were really limited considering the old version of ios, and I have to scale some official releases (like kodansha's sankarea) since it can't handle 2000x3000 images, but overall I really like it. I'd definitely recommend getting a 4:3 tablet since it's perfect for manga.
Your face is ugly
I use Tachiyomi on android.
I wish there was a windows port of Tachiyomi, so I could use it on my Surface Pro.
