Miura has said in interviews that he's intentionally using thicker lines along the edges to make his art easier to follow. It's not necessarily worse than his older art. It's more akin to stuff from the Golden Age arc.
The detail on this is great (60 chapters ago), but you have to admit that it takes a second to orient yourself and actually figure out what's going on.
