It lasts only an hour. But it did have the real pages the artists worked on, plus some really early manga. so its worth it for that.

I'm a member so I checked it out. Wasn't a bad exhibit. Not sure I'd pay specifically for it though.

It was a pretty good overview with some neat artefacts. Definitely worse ways to spend your £20

I remember visiting this museum couple years back and they had a floor reserved for some japanese pornography exhibit. Do they have like some necessary quota to meet for asian art or are british people just obsessed with asian culture?

As someone who really likes munakata it was very nice having that be one of the main displays. Really didn't expect an obscure manga to be that prominent but it is quite fitting. I also got a few other manga to read out of it and stared at Inoue's art for a while. I recommend it if you're really into manga.

Does Munakata get better stories later on? I really liked Yokai Hunter but Munakata Kyoju doesnt seem to be focused on the occult side of things.

Yeah it gets better. I like the slight horror themed ones even if they do get a bit over the top sometimes.
