It has a largely pointless and overly long tournament arc that only exists so the author could draw more dicks.

"Boogie Woogie Feng Shui" was a pretty weak episode and story overall.

the artist is a bit of a twat - its the only fault i can find with it.

You got it all wrong. S1 has a snappy pacing and lots of catchy music. S2 is a snorefest and lacks good, original songs. Plus its opening themes are a fucking atrocity.

Watching it week by week sucked.

You have no taste. S1 is caged in club room comedy formulas. Kyoani really got the hang of it and were able to create something much more soulful in S2. Something that should even be apparent to a shiteater such as your self is the comparison between the inventive S2 summer trip and the two generic ones in S1.

Chihayafuru only gets praise. Don't get me wrong, it's flawless so anything otherwise would be blatant lying but sometimes things which are perfect are seemingly too good to be true and the mentality of those who are always looking for the worse of things will try to break down the perfection that is Chihayafuru.
