I'll start.
Also, no FMA, that's the go-to answer
I'll start.
Also, no FMA, that's the go-to answer
>no FMA
already based and redpilled thread, fuck that overrated entry level shit
Wouldn't almost every manga fit this?
Japan still hasn't accepted that gender is fluid and not based on your sex. I'd wager that just about every mangaka believes themselves to be cisgendered because that's what Japanese society imposed on them. They never had the chance to explore their gender identity, so we can't say for sure if they are men or women.
Dilate
YEAH GIRL POWAH
Fuck off
is this some new pasta?
if I didn't know, how would I know to post it?
Something you figured out later
It takes 10 seconds to find out the gender of a mangaka
Hentai by woman is very hardcore.
But then you would know and couldn't post it in the thread.
you didn't think it was obvious that YRYR is written by a woman?
Especially the lolicon
Would you believe me if I said I didn't know like 90% of Kirara manga had female mangaka?
Most people don't initially check the gender of the mangaka when picking up a series. I don't see why you're being so dense and pedantic about this.
>>It takes 10 seconds to find out the gender of a mangaka
Considering the majority never have any photo posted it can take a bit longer.
There are some like Itou8 that I've seen claims they're girls here but never found anything to prove it either way.
>It takes 10 seconds to find out the gender of a mangaka
Eh, most of them but not all of them out themselves.
>Would you believe me if I said I didn't know like 90% of Kirara manga had female mangaka?
no, I literally don't believe that anyone could think that
Is Marin the cosplay gyaru's author a guy or girl?
>Considering the majority never have any photo posted it can take a bit longer
No it doesn't retard. Just Google the mangaka and click on the baka page.
You can typically say what manga is written by a female writer by how it handles romance and female characters.
The more depraved it is, the thirstier the main heroine towards the MC, the higher chance it's written by a woman.
the only manga where I was genuinely surprised the MC was female was FMA. Every other time it was either obvious or seemed pretty likely but not enough for me to be sure
Half of the ones I've looked at have just had N/A.
>MC
*author, I'm an idiot
But it's not absolute though. Baka claims the author of Kimetsu no Yaiba is female, but there is never an official confirmation.
That said, the nips are highly confident that Gotouge is a woman, so baka is probably right.
>The more depraved it is, the thirstier the main heroine towards the MC, the higher chance it's written by a woman.
What about those really raunchy ecchi harems though?
Dunno man, Morgiana seemed pretty autistic to me
if you can't tell the author of KnY is a woman just from reading it, you need to screw your head on better
Most of them are blueballing trash
Sono Bisque? Female
When I was younger, I was surprised to learn that the author of Koi Kaze and Usagi Drop are women.
Now thinking back, all the signs were there
Add Aki Sora to the list.
people still think tkmz is female even if their baka page clearly states they are male and they have made tweets about them jizzing on their ipad
>Girl falls in love with her teacher
>Not written by a girl
You're not familiar with women are you?
I think the real thing people are surprised by was that the mangaka is married with kids when she was making KnJ
Don't forget
>boy falls in love with his teacher
>>You're not familiar with women are you?
And you're not familiar with men? History shows that men have majority of the time preferred girls younger to them. Literally two sides of the same coin.
I read through Mushishi recently and didn't know the mangaka was a woman until I was at least halfway through and I saw someone mention it in a thread on here.
Wolfsmund. I thought its mangaka was a man a woman’s pen name (still kind of do) but apparently they were Irie Aki’s assistant
fucking piece of shit beat me to it
So... is bakaudon really a girl? I can't believe it
I mean I thought Pochi was a man. It's not that weird
does pochi want to fuck shotas?
Besides FMA, the only other series that surprised me were Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2; both of which were written by Rumiko Takahashi.
Morgiana is mostly an exception though she sitll pinned Alibaba to the wall like a hungry beast she is on a few occasions. Magi still had at least one couple that literally got hooked up during the events of the manga itself.
>men like women,
>women like men,
a revolutionary concept isn't it
>missing the nuance of men like YOUNGER women and women like OLDER men
retard
Yeah, watching (and reading a bit) Inuyasha as a kid I wouldn't have thought it was by a woman. I don't know when I heard about Ranma 1/2 (had never read or watched it until recently) but it wasn't until later that I realized that both of them were by the same person.
The Rumiko name didn't spell it out for you, or you just didn't know the author's name?
I watched the anime before I read the manga. I was 10 when I started watching it and manga wasn't as accessible in the west back then.
A reverse case where I was sure it was a female author but actually male
Galko fucks black guys
it was since 1994
50% of his tweets are about his dick and how much he wants girls to bully him over being a sissy too
what is fat elf mangaka?
Oh, come on! That was blatant. Even before checking this had "this was made by some bitch" all over it. It would have shocked me if it was made by a dude.
Another blatant one... guys seriously.
I suspected it, but my google skills have never been able to confirm it. Not shocked at all.
Oh yes, the mangaka of Okusama ga Seitokaichou. Fuck you, author.
Not to mention female mangakas drawing style tend to be... soft. Hard to explain.
And female characters are usually not built upon stereotyped tropes like tsundere, yandere, and so on. They actually have believable personality. While male characters make no sense.
Dunno okusama but this one is pretty nice.
I usually assume good manga is by a woman, men are typically not very good writers in general (muh power levels, muh undeveloped, unoriginal harem etc).
Oh, wait just read the spoiler... seriously?
Galko was made by a dude? He must be a tranny... no other explanation.
>While male characters make no sense.
Only in the worst examples of shoujoshit.
Maybe you should stop reading shounen and harem shit.
Nah just a very straight man who did some of his homework, he still gets some stuff wrong.
There is not only battle/action shonens.
The author of Indecent Island and RNG Erotic Cult is a woman too.
Oh god those arms
... and actual sexual activity.
If a couple act like a believable couple. And the characters actually engage in some real sex, 99,9% chances the author is a woman.
>no tropes and believable sex
Ever read BL?
This thread reminds me of this
>soranews24.com
Of course not!
And never will! But lotsa yuri.
This.
Dorohedoro
I never saw a girl draw something so gory
Sakurai Norio, the one that made mitsudomoe had to share some photos of her cause the readers didn't believe she was a woman. Her comedy style was considered too manly.
Men and women are both flawed when it comes to writing fetish material about the opposite sex
Oh but Yuri written by women is amazing, same with BL written by men.
>BL written by men
That's Bara. And it way more manly than conventional yaoi.
Are we posting female mangaka now? This is the one behind that trap manga and the twincest manga
Will there be more Ootsuka Reika lolis in this manga?
Stop reading only shounens and harems you dumb shit
>Ootsuka Reika went legit
I'm still mad
>Norio Sakurai
>Norio Tsukudani
Hm
> shoulders wider than hips
I still have doubts.
so is pic related
Not like she did a lot of eromanga.
>Draws some of the most exquisite and detailed female bodies
>Puts lots of details that only a women would probably know
>Hates titty monsters, but draws them because they sell
>Name is fucking YUMI
Come on user, you can't be that dense. You are like a harem MC if you couldn't get it.
Not all bara is written by men though (and is also kind of an outdated term)
In this case is all about subject matter, as long as it has buff guys is considered bara regardless of who made it.
But yeah men do tend to focus more on the physical aspect and the romantic points are much simpler.
The ones she did were god-tier
Yeah, that manga was GOD-TIER. The only problem was that it focused way too much on the secondary filler characters and not enough on the main couple.
That manga-ka tends to do that to draw out a story.
Beastars, for some reason.
I think it's mainly because of Legosi's coming of age story. It felt so personal somehow that I assumed it must have been done by a male writer remembering his own puberty.
Who is Q's self-insert?
>doesn't have clear shoujo o shonen art style
>haven't read the tags
>sister/daughter wants to fuck brother/father
>check the tags
>shoujo
>check the author
>female
Every time.
do female hentai mangaka use their own vagina as a model?
This. She is pretty lesbian though.
Yes.
>WHAT IS A PEN NAME?
For all you know "she" could be a fat black man living in Japan.
ah geeze well i guess if no one is going to marry pochi ill have to...
Ok
Speaking of which, is there ANY tranny mangaka?
There's always THAT guy in every thread that refuses to believe women exist.
yes
Dorohedoro. Part of me still can't believe it.
as if a male writer would make the main girl a massive slut
>She is pretty lesbian though.
Explain
