A friend reccomended this one when the month started. It's just 20 chapters long but I have to read the same pages lots of times to fully grasp whats happening, because of that, I haven't finished it yet. It's not even a heavy read, it's just that too many things happen. Right after it started the manga strayed from what I thought it was going to be about but I continued reading and it's been really good so far, you should try it.
Taiyou no Ie has been sitting on my reading list for ages but I always find something new to binge before remembering about it

Sounds like the one where the guy is always trying to get his girlfriend out of bed on her days off, and it becomes a game of her getting him to join her or he manages to get her out.
The MC thinking he could be the Light Yagami of the harem world was a funny concept. The fact that the girls like his friend, who likes the girl that likes the MC all being delivered in the beginning was actually quite funny. The fact that the only genuine interactions he has is with his friend who ends up having hated his guts is also hilarious and fitting.
However, the MC was known by everyone as being a love master that everyone would consult for their relationship woes. The entire house of cards collapsing moment makes no sense because he could just say he didn't know how to resolve their love triangle without hurting any of his friends and they should have believed him? If they leaned into the fact that he is a scumbag with a master plan while looking innocent in the first chapter, or stress that he COULD have kept the scumbag antics up but came clean because of his friendship, it would have worked as a concept. The way things played out is that he was a scumbag the entire time, gets found out because everyone else is also a scumbag, and then everything is resolved and now the characters have no direction. Stupid plotting scumbags fucking each other over could have been hilarious.

It's a romcom about 2 teenagers that are "80s japanese pop culture" enthuasiatics, there are a lot of references on the story and, even that the story is settle nowadays, the art has that 80s shoujo style. It ended, but there're almost no one translating this manga right now.

The drama isn't that bad at all, and is foreshadowed early on. TLer probably just used it as an excuse because he stopped giving a fuck. The girl pulls away because of the baggage she and her mom have, caused by her father disappearing. It's clear from the start the boy is gonna snap her out of it.

The anime covers the first fifty chapters or so, and it's mostly just Yona assembling her reverse-harem with little to no romantic development whatsoever.
I'm around chapter sixty or so, and while Yona has developed and plenty of stuff has happened, the series hasn't delivered very well on the shoujo aspects.

lol good luck, there's only a scant few of gaijin who are published. You'd need to know the language and live in Japan. It's more likely that you would just get published as an artist, but serialization is incredibly rare for non japanese.

This can be subjective. The artist himself is often his harshest critic. And it's not like there aren't any mangaka whose technical skills are less than stellar.
Maybe you have adequate skills as an artist, I don't know. The big hurdle is serialization and its requirements.
1) Know Japanese
2) Live in Japan
3) Understand nip culture to an extent where your work and demeanour isn't immediately alienating to publishers
4) Have good skills and/or an idea that a publication might pick you up, and even then it'll be even harder because you're a foreigner. Aspiring artists get rejected by the ton daily.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but it would be an arduous effort.
