What's going on in this image
No part 8?
I can't rank it before it ends.
5 way too high
pretty based
>1 that low
Are you fucking stupid?
Jojo villains go to a haunted house and get spooked
Not at all
Phantom Blood is in no way bad, and I enjoyed every moment of it, but it would be foolish to put it above any other part
3>2>7>1>5>4
>3 that high
>5 and 4 that low
5 fucking sucks, 4 is way better
False. 4 is fucking abhorrent and 3 is quarter-shit. 1 is better than 2, 3, 4, and 5
>1 is better than 2, 3, 4, and 5
But Jonathan lost. i can't root for a loser.
The only thing 4 does better than 5 is the ending fight. But the minor antagonists and the Jojo gang don't even come close.
>1 is better than 2, 3, 4, and 5
O-okay, user
>la jobba is anything but mediocre
>liking the most boring one note crew
TLDR 5>=7>4>3>6>1>2
Part 1: Simple, fun story with lovable characters and memorable moments. The four MCs are all great, and Erina is pretty good too. The fights are okay, but each have some great moments. The rivalry with Jonathan and Dio is well done and what makes this go from an okay story to a good one. Their relationship to this day is one of the greatest things in JoJo. Sadly, the parts with Zeppeli's training and Tarkus and Bruford lack this aspect and suffer because of it.
Part 2: Joseph is a riot. The fights are entertaining. The Pillar Men are great. Lisa Lisa is cool. I even think Caesar, while not the best character, is better than some people give him credit for. However, all the side characters are underused, and they don't have many or even any moments to shine on their own because Joseph hogs the spotlight. The fights can also be a bit too unbelievable. Every JoJo part has those fights where there's a moment that makes you go "wait, is that even possible?" but with 2 it feels like every fight is ripping your suspension of disbelief, hoping you find it fun enough to forgive, which I mostly do. Everything else about it is either good or fine, but I can't think of any aspect of it that has aged well.
Part 3: Used to be my least favorite but the more I go back to it, the more I like it. While the first half has some lame fights, it also has a nice sense of adventure and interesting locales. Not every MC is as fleshed out as they could be, but they all have good chemistry that makes up for it and makes them one of the most memorable crews. And while I said it has some lame fights, there's also a lot of great ones, mainly in the second half. The Vanilla Ice fight is probably my favorite in the series.
Part 4: Imo, the part where JoJo goes from a good series to a great one. The character writing has improved with every member of the cast being fleshed out. The theme of community and having the story be about the various people, places and occurrences in Morioh was a fun change of pace that paid off.
Part 5: While it may not do everything better than every other part, it does most things better or equal to every other part imo. Every one of its aspects is executed well and it excels at Araki's character writing, stands, fights and story combined with some great art and a beautiful message about facing the hardships of life.
Part 6: In terms of pure enjoyment, Part 6 is my least favorite part. I love its first few and last couple of arcs, but I'm not a big fan of the majority of it. I find its story, characters, fights and stands to all have some crippling flaw that clashes hard against anything it does well, to the point where I can't say the pros always outweigh the cons. However, I have a lot of respect for it. I respect it for trying new things, for trying to go big and weird with the stands and tell a unique story, even if I don't think it always paid off.
Part 7: I basically love this as much as Part 5. The only thing breaking the tie is I like the overall cast, stands and fights more in 5. Part 7 is still amazing in those categories and has a better story. It has an amazing story about growth and self-improvement, encapsulated in Johnny. His journey from a fallen star to someone who can stand on their own was the core of the part and one of the most engrossing things in the series. The fights, while not my favorite, host some of the best in the series. The artwork is Araki's peak.
Checked
>Most complaints people have on 1 is it being slow, otherwise the story on its own is fucking great and ended without going on too long
>The complaint is valid but it’s not very strong
>Most complaints on 2, 3, 4, and 5 are for asspulls, meaningless, episodic, and repetitive fights, stupid decisions by characters (particularly Kira), wasted potential, and anticlimactic final fights
>Most of these are valid, only being carried by cool fights and fun character dynamics
>Part 1 HAS cool fights and fun character dynamics anyway despite the less complaints, though there are no creative stand abilities (the flaming fist and hot sword were great fighting strategies)
I like Parts 2, 3, 4, and 5 too but come on, 1 was kino
Joseph won from a 1 in a trillion luck bonus, but I’ll give you that
Jotaro won from a 1 in a trillion luck bonus, but I’ll give you that
The Town of Morioh won from a 1 in a trillion luck bonus, but I’ll give you that
Giorno won, I’ll give you that
Jolyne and Jotaro lost
Johnny lost
That’s almost half of the series where the MCs lost
based
Pretty based, although personally I'd put 4 a little lower. Like this: 7>5>4=6>2>3>1
6>4>(8)*>2>5>7>3>1
* As of yet Chapter 89 and how things are looking up.

I had the time of my life with SBR, and now I'm bored to death with a character I couldn't care less about doing autistic stuff with his stalker gf. I just finished tome 2 and everything is like watered down part 4
The only thing 4 does well is introducing themes/ ideas that progress the series as a whole (including stands having multiple abilities and less simple or direct effects) and characters who are more multifaceted.
Personally that shit read like persona 4 and the pacing was nonexistent when Kira wasn't on the screen for his total of 5 seconds until the finale. It's like a classic high school anime. I know its opinion but I dont see why everyone loves it. Serial killer villains have been done so much better in even non-anime shows/ lit
Also they just repeat part 3's using the arrow to elongate the season, and it's way less charming the second time. I can't even name one enemy from that season sho didn't become their friend eventually.

What am I reading
The plot kicks off during the vitamin c arc, u got to admit that at least the sea village aesthetic is pretty cool tho
Yeah I really like it, the wall eyes has a very interesting design and I'm glad to be in Morioh again. But holy shit those characters ... I don't underwtand why I should care about this weirdo Josuke, the stupid as a chair gf, or the weirdo with the bowl cut
my opinion bruddah. desu i wanna hear why people liked it so much.
i really had a hard time sitting through part 4, the plot felt like it was never happening, most of the fights seemed unimportant (pylon dude, the alien in general). i also realize im the insane one tho, cus the majority of people would die for pt 4.
>Not including 6
They get developed over time. Way moreso than part 4's characters imo.
Why do you care about any fictional characters?
>alien
>fight
speedreader spotted, pleb filtered
Agreed. I think part 4 is Araki messing around with ideas and concepts, moreso than part 3. It doesn't have any plot or theme in mind until Kira shows up.
Because the plot revolves around them
>I'm glad to be in Morioh again
The name is the only thing it shares with the part 4 version
And the plot of part 8 revolves around Josuke and Yasuho. So why are you asking why you should care about them?

What if Jonathan cut Dio's brain in half horizontally? I find it hard to believe he would be able to regenerate from that.
