Was it a masterpiece?
Was it a masterpiece?
Yes
No
maybe
what anime is this
No.
There was a lot of effort put into it but it was not a masterpiece.
>No, but Sora Yori was.
>Timeflop
>VEGFag
There now this thread can hurry up and die.
Yes
No
No
>No, but Sora Yori was
I finally got to that recently after seeing Yea Forums shitpost over it for months and it was unquestionably the best moe and one of the best character dramas I've ever seen. It's frankly embarrassing that VEG came out the same season, it feels really forced and unfocused by comparison. What doesn't Yea Forums like about Yorimoi? Surely salesfags don't think their opinion is worth shit, right?
See
It's a meme
The sora yori was tone deaf.
I can't understand why people liked it. There are much better shows that aired the same year.
Yea Forums likes Yorimoi, the only people that hate it are VEG autists because it outsold them and took AOTS. They've been obsessively shitposting about it every day for nearly two years.
Holy shit that thread is concentrated cancer, is that what the threads were actually like? It's all just spewing buzzwords and reaction shitposts. Why does Yea Forums have such a hateboner for the haircut trope? It's actually used in a symbolically relevant way in Yorimoi, involving letting go of something long tying someone down, which is the primary theme of the entire show. Discrediting the show for that is like discrediting Evangelion for having a tsundere or Cowboy Bebop for having a drug episode
>not "can you repeat the question"
cringe and un-malcominthemiddlepilled
~I don’t know
Can you repeat the question
Edit: thanks for the gold stranger!
fucking incredible
fucking fags
Both shows were mediocre. The shitposting wars were so pointless.
>be Yorimoifag
>make melodramatic posts
>act super offended
>thinks eva and bebop are some kind of masterpiece
This is type of NPC Yorimoi attracts
I don't think they're masterpieces, I just picked some arbitrary examples that would be recognizable and thus easy to make a point with, that being that use of common tropes is not inherently negative. Genuinely what do you was a better show from 2018?
Can you repeat the question? xD
i want the redditors to leave
Yes, the end was kinda weird for me but i cried most episodes.
We'd all like that but they're made themselves at home here.
You're damned right it was.
Gorgeous
rent free
it was trash even if it didn't flop, by brainlets for brainlets
YES x100. Shit choked me up so fucking bad.
Kyoto studios is officially legendary with their work and can't be competed with. That being said, it makes contrarian /a seethe.
the fact that you're using it as bait proves it isn't.
'Masterpiece' is a hard thing to define without the benefit of time, but I certainly think it's going to have more staying power than anything else from the year it came out. The sheer quantity of shitposting around it for no good reason beyond people being offended that slow-burn dramas exist is kind of fascinating in its own right.
It has what.. above an 8/10? which means it was considered a success. /a hates it because /a is full of kids with severe autism and aspergers. They just don't get it and it frustrates them since spergs can't experience emotions.
It's a story of a boring robot girl who behaves in a predicable manner as she interacts with characters who in theory should be interesting to make up for the absolute shit protagonist however these "characters" are one dimensional crap you would expect from a light novel adaptation. And before you get upset at me calling her a robot, yes I noticed she displays emotions, yes I know she isn't literally a machine, yes I know it's about her growing as a character but it's middle school tier hamfisted rubbish
Dropped this turd on episode 4. It felt like watching a pretentious indie drama at a film festival in anime form.
Nope, one of Kyoani's worst works. I don't get why they don't adapt at least decent source material instead of the complete shit writing trash like VEG.
Have you read their LNs? They do not have any decent source material to adapt.
Nope. Though she's easily one of the most beautiful anime girls ever drawn.
