It's almost impressive how shit all of those reasons are. I'm all for calling Alluka an asspull, but reading that list of example tropes makes me think otherwise purely from how poorly laid out it is.

Why are there so many HxH threads lately? It feels like there are always constantly 2-3 up on Yea Forums at all times, and the manga isn't even ongoing, no anime.
I don't remember this many threads even when HxH 2011 was ongoing. Granted I haven't been on this board for the last 5-6 years or so.

they went out of their way and explained a great many cards there, and the way Gon beats Genthru was through utilizing the game system. The only thing I could find people complaining about is the accompany spam, which is understandable after 10 seconds of thought and you realize people are more likely to spam more useful cards, or in this case, cards that transport you and several other people to a person to your choice in a matter of seconds

True, and one of the only gripes I have about the show was with Alluka. I will stick to my guns, though, on the fact that the transformation did still stick to the rules of nen, even with the bullshit nen exorcism.

Gon does not have his nen now. He will not regain it unless Kurapika brings it back from the new continent, which wouldn't make any fucking sense because only Ging knows. I highly doubt Gon will ever receive his Nen back, which is fine because that is the only thing that makes Alluka even slightly acceptable (albeit still an asspull) in my eyes

I phrased that weirdly. Gon doesn't have his nen, but I'm going under the assumption he will get it back at some point and then regain his power plus some more. While I do hope that doesn't happen, I'm starting to think there'll be a training scene where he has a cost to regain his nen. Obviously that'd be awful as it'd make the nanika asspull 10x worse, so I hope it doesn't happen, but considering Gon is the main character, I dunno...

Time will tell, for certain. That said, at this current moment, Gon does not currently have the ability to use nen. About a year ago, I made a suggestion on a board that Alluka may have some mechanics that we are unfamiliar with that could potentially justify her existence (some crippling weakness or an unknown modifier) and proceeded to get near crucified by half the fucking board for "justifying it with a theory". Since then I've tried to sticking with what is. As of right now, Gon is nenless, abilityless, and undergoing a few years' worth of education, so he's out for a while. In the meantime, I will try to not to justify the present with the future or vice versa.
I see. I would suggest you actually try to learn the arguments they're making, so when people make fun of the shitty points people are making in the images you post, you can at least try to defend them.
