>writers assume the audience is stupid so they explain things 4, 5 or 6 times in a single episode >over explaining deflates every ounce of suspense 2 mins after it’s introduced >main character is an annoying crybaby only the purest of autists can relate to >”xD we’re so random” is the only semblance of humor >god awful and hugely inconsistent character design >corny and cringey >shows blood but 99% of the time it’s only for disturbing sight gag >frog waifu
Why is this shilled so much?
>inb4 it’s for babies therefore it doesn’t matter if it’s good :D
>writers assume the audience is stupid so they explain things 4, 5 or 6 times in a single episode Because the people who are supposed to be watching Shonnen are 12 year olds or younger
Nolan Clark
>>writers assume the audience is stupid so they explain things 4, 5 or 6 times in a single episode considering how many people fail to understand the plot, he doesn't explain things enough
>writers assume the audience is stupid so they explain things 4, 5 or 6 times in a single episode >>over explaining deflates every ounce of suspense 2 mins after it’s introduced That's just not only japanese but asian way of doing stuff: bad exposition, infodumping, overexplaining, narration of emotion, literally talking about what's happening on the screen it is all consistently common that "style" is even more obnoxious in battle shounen you can hate it, ignore it or bare it.
Christian Hill
>writers assume the audience is stupid so they explain things 4, 5 or 6 times in a single episode >over explaining deflates every ounce of suspense 2 mins after it’s introduced Haha but enough about Kaiji am I right guys?
Nicholas Barnes
>people who are supposed to be watching Shonnen are 12 year olds or younger Then can we perma ban fans of this show for being underage?
Hunter Peterson
This is literally my first time posting that picture.
I'm glad that it's popular.
Xavier Peterson
>this show is popular so it must be bad >I only watch enlightened loli softcore made for and by purveyors of fine art like myself
Jason Edwards
HxH was just about the most egregious example of this during the final stretch of the Chimera Ant arc. It could be argued as a stylistic choice since the narrator is a separate entity but holy fuck the man explained every little detail about the Royal Guard's changes in character as they happened.
Sorry the watching shows where characters die is too much for you, even characters in DBZ died gruesomely and it was still a kids show
Lincoln Wood
It’s not bad because it’s popular is bad because of the reason I listed. Go cry like your Hero
Michael Parker
It's because the female character designs are so sexy.
This is the only reason I'm watching it, but the constantly explaining shit we JUST SAW thing has been annoying from the beginning, and it's been dragging hard since the beginning of season 2 and feels completely pointless so I'm about to drop it.
Hot girls notwithstanding the premise had a lot of potential, and the protagonist hurting himself to use his power is a cool gimmick, but I can't say anything else good about it.
Not really.
Lincoln Richardson
>people die a lot! Its is good! Literal brainlet argument.
Caleb Mitchell
>whoa this villain is about to take out one of the main characters! I wonder what’s gunna happen next! >Yay! The hero’s won again just like they do in every episode and nobody got badly hurt!!! >Now that’s what I call suspense!
Oh I forgot >heros start balling their eyes out because even though nobody got hurt they could of done better
Jackson Cox
I hate his face
Jonathan Morris
>writers assume the audience is stupid so they explain things 4, 5 or 6 times in a single episode And they're right judging from the threads.
Jeremiah Carter
OH NONNONO NONNO HOW WILL WE EVER RECOVER BNHA BROS
But in all seriousness, I'm on chapter 8 in the manga. He's cried about 30 times so far. (I've been counting). Does he ever stop, or is it like pokemon, where the MC never develops?
Joshua Phillips
This. Hori had no right making his characters this sexy.
