Depends on country, in Bongland for example SAL customs is far quicker.

There's really no good answer for it. You can set the whole case up off of the ground (the Bestia works ok but anything will work as long as it's stable). You're either going to have stuff down too low or else too high on top. You really do just have to get used to the fact that a few of your least favorites will be in sub-optimal positions. Risers are pretty mandatory but can make it even worse if used wrong in the top and bottom shelves. You can also look into some of the figures that are designed to be viewed from above. The ones with girls spread out on rugs and such. Those work well especially since you can find ways to tilt them to an ideal angle.

I find the acrylic keychains are actually terrible as keychains, the printed layer isn't sealed in the plastic so your keys will scratch off the image and fairly quickly. I guess they're alright as a collectible to display though.

The rubber ones are just as impractical for regular use and I've actually seen more of them laying on the ground than the acrylic key chains.
Could be because they're more popular, could be because the kids that have them aren't conscious about their presence, but it could also be because the little bit that they attach to the ring is a critical weak point.

I've had one in the windshield for almost a year and another in the package in a closet.
In November, I will compare the two to see how much it was faded by the sun.

I know what you mean about the whole connecting part for the ring seeming like a weak point, but if you wanted to you could actually just have your proper big keyring go through the hole in the rubber (it's large enough for that) and have them directly on there rather than dangling. Haven't had the need so far, though. Also I slapped these two together onto the same hook rather than keeping them seperate, because their backs actually stick together to form a sort of neat double-sided combination.
Been carrying it around in my pocket and no scratching or wear on the print on the rubber at all, either.
The whole hooking mechanism on yours is definitely sturdy-looking as hell, but a lot of that is probably because of the oversized rifle.

If you're looking for more for display purposes, grabbing a 6-set could be neat, since you get a couple of Tanya's rarer outfits that didn't get figs or much art.

I still don't understand where and why it became popular to use those LED strips, they are harsh, specular, visible lightsources and while the shadows created may look good on the mecha stuff, it is not the ideal lighting for bishoujo. Look at all the professional images of figures used for shops...is there a visible light source? No. Are they using specular light directly from the front? No.

It's a waste of fucking money to spend that much on display when literal window light and white reflectors would look better lol.

Not him, but I'm building my showcase and by experience I know that LED strips can be nicer and more ergonomic to use, because they save in space, both for the whole furniture(where a regular lamp would make the furniture taller) and internally and they're a lot more cheaper.

Many people use them now because they fall for the detolf meme.

They're not harsh, the bulb patterns are just ugly. What he probably should've done was have a strip on the top front of each shelf, instead of lining them around the border since only the top shelves look decent. The spotlight effect of that one odd shelf with the strips in the middle doesn't look good either.

I recommend getting smooth LED strips with less obvious bulbs but they're harder to find. Ikea has some but I think they provide too weak of a light source.

Thats actually was my intention, kinda. I wanted the focus to go from top to bottom. I eventually plan to put only my favourite figures on the top and use more fabrics to hide acrylic risers. And yeah, I know about those light in Ikea. I didn't like then on the demo wall that they had. Also, the odd on is there because I am wating to buy a matching color detolf and then add similar LED strip to it.

Also, in case people didn't notice, that image is actually several images stitched together so figures are not hidden due to lack of wide angle shot. Dont want you to think the LEDs are uneven among the shells.

It is somewhat advanced kit (especially titanium finish version) because you need to careful about nob marks and etc. If you have no experience then I would suggest you buy a simple/cheap kit first (bandai one) and build it to practise. I would recommend IBO 1/100 kits because they are pretty simple and you can get by using basic tools (plastic cutter mostly). Build couple of those to get some experience, then you can move to Shinaju.

watch some plamo tutorials on youtube or visit the /m/ thread and check the guide to get acquainted with the basic tolls for plamo/gumpla

Amico only has it in Japanese sizes, the largest at XL, so at best comparable to a western L, maybe a little smaller. I only fit in a handful of Ls, mostly XL's, so I basically started looking for western places printing it from the start, both for wear and foor better display size. Ideally though I want a proper wall-art print of it, but that means finding a good quality version of the image file.

By the way, if you like titanium finish stuff and aren't adverse to painting, you can get the same effect on a regular kit with black primer -> chrome -> clear color

Master grade are fairly easy to build. I'll recommend the RG if you don't want to paint tho because the armors decorations are actually painted gold.
