When is Gary Stew Ainz going to encounter an enemy he actually has to try against? Getting tired of him just power wanking everything.

People get tired of the gimmick after a while. It's kind of a trip watching this super-powered anti-hero wipe the floor with weak fodder and supposedly "powerful" warriors of the native land, but after the 100th time of everyone going "there's no way we can defeat him! He's too strong! He's too powerful! Oh my god, he's so powerful!" it gets old.
Also the end of the last season was shit and no one wants to read the LNs

The biggest problem is there is a lot of table setting, from introducing characters and acquiring resources, and question still unanswered since vol 3 like who did that to Shaltier, who are are the antagonist? Basically this all can be said in a few simple words, the story is not moving or progressing well at all.

All of their opponents combined, up to this point, would have trouble beating (for instance) Demiurge. The only one who's ever gotten fucked up is Entoma.

Even if it goes the other way and the kill team fails / dies, any player (including AOG members) will assume the attack was on Ainz's orders and they are likely to interpret any attempt at reconciliation as deception and a trap. Especially if they spend some time in the New World and hear about other players like the Eight Greed Kings turning on each other and notice their heteromorph bodies influencing their personality - they will assume their old friend Momonga is really an evil Overlord now and seeks to kill them.

Their NPC will immediately change sides and they will have a reliable source of info.

It depends. Considering the Dredd-like setting chances are it's a cyborg filled with cybernetic enhancements.

That assumes the NPCs have that info, which relies on Ainz having that info (which relies on Albedo being honest about this, which we already know she isn't) and choosing to share it, and that the player trust them, which they have no reason to do.

By all evidence they could gather the NPCs are perfectly loyal to Momonga who now calls himself after the entire guild and is in the midst of conquering the world. They can see from themselves that your inhuman body affects your personality. Stories of players who came before them center around players turning against one another and wiping each other out.

Two thirds of the plot of this LN is based around misunderstandings, why would everyone suddenly trust each other and communicate carefully?
