Kinda concerned about the boat scene. its usually used as a two way trope

depending on the story. On one side, its a heartbreak trope, used to cause romance to suffer.
on another, its a developing romance trope, kinda like what it seems to be going for here.

I'm just concerned about what necessary trouble has to be dealt with before Natsuo and Hina can actually become a couple. for the sake of drama, of course there is going to be a wrench thrown in somewhere to give Ruifags a breather. and boat trips are usually romantic tropes for better or worse. it would be in keeping with the continuous buildup of the story for it to be romantic, but since Ruifags are always giddy with Sasuga, i'm concerned if she'll throw them a bone or something. like if Hina brought the rings with her (for whatever reason) and she drops them in the ocean.

i wonder if they'll meet anyone on there. Hinas dad with her step mom, Hina and Ruis step sister with her boy toy, Shuu and a new lady, Momo and rikon.

I suggest you brace all the same. Even though Hina is being made to win so far, Sasuga is likely to make it seem like she has a chance for the last arc to be more dramatic and suspense building. Thats when Ruifags will take everything to an extreme, just like with the last 2 chapters.

From what i understand, she'll try to avoid him on the boat and he'll confront her before the end. Kinda like how Hina tried to avoid him at the summer festival before she moved out the house and they started dating soon after.

I don't think he'll accept her feelings at the confession though, not through a clean rejection like Miyabi but because circumstances are complicated and he's obviously always been drawn to her, even when he was with Rui.
Natsuo will realize that Hina has loved him the whole time and become more drawn to her. He may also regain his happiness and ability to write again because of it since both developed greatly with Hina and declined without her, Rui only slowed the decline down but couldnt stop it.
But i think it will be Rui who will ensure Hina and Natsuo get together. after all the BS she's made them go through, its the only way to redeem herself.

Sasuga can do whatever she wants, there is no narrative reason for Hina to be the one connected to his dream since the beginning to the point of holding onto it for him at this point for no catharsis. Like she made this whole marriage arc for Hina deciding to move on only to take it back and have her resolve to be there for Natsuo irrespective of whether he chooses her or not, doing all this shit for her to get rejected will be shit writing at a whole new level especially when she could have easily avoided the stalker shit and have Hina move on. I know this is drama but every drama needs a good narrative reasoning behind it.
