I liked it, it was realistic. Whether you're a man or a women, most of the time "perfect love" at young age doesn't exist. He and her had something deep and it was honestly great of him to keep those feelings for so long but after a decade or so past,without contact majority of people would move on. He didn't and ended up getting burnt in the end. But he was also able to move on as well I think. I'd like to think he found love after this scene at some point.

I watched it when it got subbed on Valentine's Day and Yea Forums was full of threads on it, I thought it was kind of bland and took nothing from it.
Then I rewatched it drunk out of my mind about 5 years later and cried like a little bitch. It's not like I've ever had a gf or had an unrequited childhood love or anything in the 5 years between viewings so fuck knows, but it remains one of the most emotional things I ever saw.
