Why nobody cares about Jujutsu?

Why nobody cares about Jujutsu?

I tried reading it.
I gave up when he died then revived.
It's just generic shounenshit.

Deidara?

A bit of a cliche beginning with weird pacing put off most people. Not getting any scans for a while also killed most discussion. Then, even when scans started appearing, they were sporadic and in batches rather than a steady stream of weekly scans so there'd be a big thread once in a while and then back to silence.

Latest chapter was awesome though, wanted to see Gojou get his shit pushed for a long time and papa Fushiguro delivered.

Guys who read Jujutsu manga, What do you think about the fight between teen Gojou and papa Megumi?

Oh shit I completely forgot Viz is out now

Loved it. Gege's rough artstyle works really well with fights and had some really nice panelling (especially the spread). Also Megudad being a clever little shit and planning all that just to wear Gojou down was pretty nice.

I think it's just being over shadowed here by Chengsaw Man

Well, it's basically a very tame version of Chainsaw Man

I'd say it's something inbetween ChainsawMan and a more "classic" battle shounen with power-levels, techniques, etc.

Yes. That's "tame Chainsaw man"

It's honestly a bit of an interesting study in difference in author ability, since the two are really similar. It's just, Chainsaw Man has that special sauce you know? The heartache sauce that keeps plucking on your heart strings.

If i remember correctly Gege said that s/he wanted Jujutsu to be a "classic hero's journey" or something like that. To be honest i'm happy that, while similar, these series feel different enough so you can enjoy them both without feeling like reading a copy of eachother. Also less shitposting between the fanbases if there's a JJK fanbase at all. Didn't Fujimoto even draw a Nobara way back?

Fucking sweet, I have to admit I'm a little lost in regards to the timeline of the current chapters and the side story.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but this is supposed to be before the sidestory and I guess we'll find out why Getou became who he is today. Something like this, right?

>sidestory
You're talking about the Vol.0 prequel right? If so, yeah, this flashback is before that (Gojou and Getou are still students) so the current flashback arc is the oldest thing we've seen in the series' timeline.

>Vol.0 prequel
Yeah, the one with the Rika curse.
I was a bit confused with the flashback at first but everything is clearer for me now, thank you.

Everyone will care after it gets an anime

Wonder if we'll get a wave of fans first or if we'll move directly to shitposting desu.

Speaking of, is that curse around Papa Fushiguro the one Getou had on the prequel? It looks similar enough but can't check right now.

They seem quite similar, they must be the same kind of curse.

Because there are no fucking translations?

I wanted to enjoy it since I liked the art style but nothing else grabbed me.

>we'll move directly to shitposting
As promised, I got you covered.

I was like that at first but I really enjoyed Yuuji and Toudou during the Kyoto arc so there was that for me.

Thanks for the pic. There are some slight differences but i dunno if it's cause they;re different curses or cause Gege's artstyle changed . If it is the same it will probably be explained at some point either way.

Fair enough. It did take a while but i really like most characters now desu.

Based and Autismpilled. Latest AA chapter was pretty good too, i expected Chiyoko to be the weakest part of the arc but she's shaping up to be the best.

Kimetsu effect?

Not with Pierrot, it won't!

If it gets a bad studio then it needs a bombshell plot development that gets Jujutsufags out of the woodwork and into threads to talk about it.
For example it happened with Black Clover during the elf takeover and World Trigger when the MC got sniped through the wall.

I care, but I only read every three weeks. Would probably read weekly if I saw a thread every time a chapter was released or for spoilers.

Call me a retard all you want, but can somebody explain Gojou's powers to me? I just don't get anything he does

>every time a chapter was released
Thank god for Mangaplus, i guess JB dropped it after all.
>spoilers
good one user, i think Jujutsu is one of the few Jump series that doesn't even get gook scans.

It just works

I read the first 3-4 chaps and I liked the MC. It didn't really grab me though.
A lot of people stay away from series with unestablished authors because of the fear that they'll be cut.

It is successful in Japan, just under the radar over here.

>spoiler
oh no, not again

>I read the first 3-4 chaps and I liked the MC. It didn't really grab me though.
It's funny how those first chapters are pretty safe/boring (and might be the low point of the manga so far) yet not only did the series survive, it ended up being popular-ish (in Japan ofc). I really believe that if it did get weekly scans during the first 10-15 chapters it'd be more popular in the west too.

I think it's actually explained in some Volume's extras but i haven't seen it myself.

I guess it's like Zeno's Tortoise Paradox, the infinity part of it, where you always travel halfway until you're basically motionless. The rest of it like the Blue and Red rotations seems to be good old Spatial Manipulation.

I wonder if a dump would help spark some interest on Yea Forums, probably not.

I think I remember this series getting storytimed once.

Bleach 2.0

Yuji vs Mahito is the high point so far. Also this manga has some underrated foreshadowing.

Everyone vs Hanami was pretty nice too. It may have lacked the emotional background but it was nice seeing everyone's abilities, and i just like Toudou. Today's chapter was really nice too imo.

I recall author explained that during the Goodwill fight Noritoshi erroneously thought Megumi can't summon Nue in narrow space because it's too large, but summoning Nue for short burst ramming is actually a viable tactic in an earlier fight (except Megumi got interrupted so it wasn't shown). It's a pity that they have to explain it in tankobon instead of actually showing it, but I think he's trying to make the fights more circumstantial instead of just pitting power level numbers against each other, so there is more suspense with Gojou's fate.

>mc and style like Bleach
>team composition like Naruto
>power system and characters like HxH
Based Gege taking the best out of each manga.

I was rereading the earlier chapters and found this in ch 13, it's probably the same kind of curse but a bit different.

Was about to say "nice foreshadowing" but then i remembered Gege had already done the prequel. Serious question, why is poor Megumi the series' bicycle when it comes to fanart?

Cute Mahito.

Yeah, I think the availability of scans early on is what has hurt its popularity on Yea Forums and other sites.

The eventual anime will help, hopefully.

>calpas
Is that supposed to be Calpis?

>Let's stop this
>My needes hurt
>The exorcists are too loud
>I wish i was home reading my book.

Why is this a thing?

Pity bump, it was fun anons.

Cause it sucks

Enjoyable, i particularly appreciate some of the ideas behind it. Feels well paced and somewhat logical even if the last page in this chapter felt a little cheap.

He is slut

Hot

>He is slut
No! He's pure, PURE!

>Hot
Have to admit i never thought Nanamin of all characters would get that kind of art desu, he doesn't strike me as a fujo-friendly character.

Nobody knows what's even going on.
People just pull out curse shit whenever they need it, the world building is a complete mess.

>Nobody knows what's even going on.
What do you mean? The plot is fairly straightforward and the power system has been explained for the most part.
