Why its fanbase hates him so much? I understand this should be coming from people who hate the series, but people who reads the manga?
Why its fanbase hates him so much? I understand this should be coming from people who hate the series...
undeserved asspull power up
Literally no tension when he's going to fight now because he'll always get saved by awakening muh new quirk
He NEEDS super powers to be a somebody, and fact that never tried to up until he met all might is saying how pathetic he is.
the mentally ill obsessive spergs that populate this shithole don't represent the fanbase as a whole
>Why its fanbase hates him so much?
Shitposters like you aren't fanbase.
>The main source of tension for Deku is Keeping the secret of One for All hidden.
>Gets 6 additional powers, but if he's seen using any of them he risks exposing the secret of one for all and fucking everything up.
>Lol, he's overpowered and can get out of any situation now.
>undeserved asspull power up
>Literally no tension when he's going to fight now because he'll always get saved by awakening muh new quirk
When did this happen? I think you confused Deku with Tanjirou.
Despite having the greatest power in the world, Deku needed Uraraka to save him, was nearly killed by a Noumu, lost the tournament, needed help to beat Stain (and then was saved by him), failed to stop Bakugou's kidnapping. But for some reason people think that now, with the 7 quirks, which he didn't even use properly, he will become a gary-stu.
You are actually dumb, he wasn't even trained beyond physical strength for everything you said there, he had no idea how to use his quirk without detonating himself.
Now he knows how to use his quirk and suddenly he has 7 more, hes going to either be a gary stu or am absolute fucking retard which makes zero sense lore wise since he autistically memeorises hero powers.
The only power he has registered is his strength. If he uses any of those other powers in ways that will attract attention, he's going to have more problems than he knows what to do with.
I don't though? Maybe stop using Yea Forums as your only source of information
Haters gonna hate. They're just butthurt because at the end of the day, he's still going to be the MC and OP as fuck, and their favorite characters are on the sidelines.
In the manga he seems much less annoying but he's still the same screaming crybaby faggoty. Seriously, why is he always crying?
He continues to act like the quirkless crybaby he was initially despite having been handed over the most op superpower in the mha universe
>Haters gonna hate
>butthurt
>this whole post
The state of BnHAbabies
Because the 7 quiks is the worst thing Horikoshi has done since the manga began.
Imagine now: we will have 6 training sagas and 6 moments in which deku is going to be saved by his mysterious quirks.
*Snifff*
I love him. He's cute and I admire his efforts.
>inb4 cope
Unearned powercreeping and every side character in the series shares one of his endearing traits but just does it much better than he does.
>WAAH! WHY WASN'T I GIFTED WITH THE SUPERIOR ATHLETIC TALENT OF LEBRON!! MY LIIIFE IS OVER NOW!!
If his priority was only to save people like the narrative tries to claim, then he could have tried to become a doctor, but no being a doctor isn't KEWL.
>B-but muh notes!!
Why do MHAtards pretend that keeping track of your hobby is hard work? I've seen kids make higher quality scouting reports for the nba draft
SEVEN QUIRKS
No one seems to adress the fact that he can't use those quirks in a way that would expose him
Was there any other shounen series where the quality skyrocketed so hard when godawful MC weren't in the focus?
HxH
He teaches kids who read the manga that it's ok to never strive to improve yourself, that people who tell you you aren't worth shit have got a point, and that you should never put any effort into something unless you know there's a reward at the end
unironically this except CA arc is still better than succession arc.
Is this your average shitposter?
bnhatards on suicide watch
This demostrates that shitposters like are braindead and just use copypaste to shitpost.
dunno anything about this series but he looks fuckable
Absolutely based. It's nice that someone cares enough about Yea Forums to mock and ridicule shit manga when they see it.
He fought a kaiju in the middle of the city using 100% power (which, might I add, would make him stronger than All Might) and he hasn't received any suspicion.
At most, Shoto will ask if Deku is AfO's secret love child, and everyone will laugh at Shoto's endearing autism.
Yeah, but Gon was hardly the high point of the CA arc. He spent most of the climax just angrily sitting in a room watching a catboy perform surgery on a blind girl.
>It's nice that someone cares enough about Yea Forums to mock and ridicule shit manga when they see it.
Same goes for hxh then.
>Why its fanbase hates him so much?
[citation needed]
he is always around 2-3 on popularity polls, and Yea Forums isn't a sign of anything, you should know that dummy
i feel like the multiple powers should have been the basis for OFA at the beginning so he can do combos and stuff. nowits too late and instead of him just perfecting the strength portion like all might hes just gonna do random shit all day and have a new power pop up randomly every arc
Honest because he reminds then that all the characters are terrible. Their motivations are paper thin and their personalities barely stray from the respective tropes they are written into. Character development might as well not exist and the ones that too have like icy hot are side lined
You'd at least expect the protagonist to be the exception but hes one of the worst ones.
His additional quirks should destroy any question of him having All Might's power, and they're all going to be greatly enhanced versions of quirks from ages ago. Not to mention that was never brought up as a new apparent conflict. You are making shit up that the story does not and will not address whatsoever.
Because he's boring as fuck. Horoi blew his whole load on Deku development early on. His whole underdog is gone.
If your character can only grow in power, then that's pretty bad.
It is pretty simple. The manga is structured to be a power fantasy where Deku is the center. Every character who doesn't like Deku ends up changing his mind, or dies, or both, or is a villain. Which means that if you identify with characters who aren't Deku, you grow to hate the guy, as the story progresses and he keeps gaining special badges, harem members, and power ups.
the show should have been about kirishima, kaminari, bakugo, jiro and ashido as a group of superpowered troublemakers in the fancy hero school
there i said it
Terrible MC, only ones who like him are fujos and faggots.
He's just too much of a bitch with 0 emotional growth. Takes abuse from Bakugo like some castrated retard. At least with other shonen, the MC stops being beta at some point, but it's just getting tiring.
He feels mishandled. Shonen manga (and superhero comics/movies in general) are typically power fantasies for children, but the wish fulfillment here is on level with what you'd expect in some LN. Wimpy nerd MC passively mopes about life not being fair and how everyone else has it good except for him, until suddenly his big break comes, the chance for him to finally be "realized" for all his inherent greatness. Not just that, he is "recognized" by not just anyone but God Himself, and is blessed with not just any power but the bestest power.
Straight from the gate, it's wish fulfillment wank regardless of how it and its fanbase may insist otherwise. Hell, it would be preferable if it didn't insist otherwise. Even putting aside all the wish fulfillment wank, it's still a rather lackluster series. Izuku is teased to be a more atypical shonen hero but doesn't deliver; he's really just your typical musclehead shonen hero while also being an exaggerated wuss. His existence harms characters around him, though you could just as well blame the mangaka for mismanagement of characters in general. The mangaka has all the superficial aspects of superhero fiction down that make them enjoyable, powers, character designs (I like Ochako), etc. But that's all really, the perfect wish fulfillment wank. Not a good story with compelling characters to make it more than that.
this, plus the fact that even after getting his powers he actively refuses to grow.
It took him AGES to realize that his fucking legs can be used for kicking.
His entire character can be summarized as a crybaby faggot who only gets shit done when it's a do or die situation, and even then it's a asspull powerup that saves him
And hentai artists.
Deku's problems don't end at beating villains and winning people over. Characters like Tanjirou and pre-Super Goku wouldn't be so beloved if the people who identify with characters who initially didn't like those protagonists didn't actually like them themselves. Deku, I've realized, is a frustratingly shallow character. Not that simple characters don't work, although they work much better in stories not so fixated on their emotional growth.
Deku is shallow in that, since All Might's retirement, he's had nothing interesting to say about anything. He may as well just narrate the plot beats as they happen. He's a passive character who stumbles into progression then acts on autopilot when conflict arises. Other characters act in accordance with what would logically make sense for them if Deku still had any actual character left, but he doesn't so you're left with this strange hole in your gut that there's just something a little off about everyone's behavior. He's supposed to be the cure for what ails hero society but he feels more like a cog in the machine. The guy seriously lacks agency, and is a far cry from early madman Deku who fucked his body up and forced his already more skilled opponent to stop holding back just to prove a point.
>he's really just your typical musclehead shonen hero while also being an exaggerated wuss
Yes. It's like there's some kind of doublethink going on with the series. Like I'm being lied to. It's not a matter of a soft-spoken character having a hidden strength. The last time it felt like he had any depth was the Bakugou fight.
Guys trust me the next is about Deku and he will actually have development this time.
10/10
>gets pushed for 100 chapters
>suddenly jobs to bakugou
>spends 2 years getting his groove back in shitty arcs that go nowhere
>suddenly gets 6 new quirks because his vanilla one sucks and is boring
Yeah second with half the votes of Baku a character whose only traits is insulting Deku
This in the first episode of Star trek discover you have a characters who doesnt suck the mary sue'dick
Guess who died later on?
Here the same you have two characters in the same arc one nighteye who didnt believe Deku at first and Mirio who was supposed to inherit Afo.
Guess who where the only two heores who didnt make at the end?
He and that shit villain are one in the same now that we know his edgelord backstory. Both are beyond shit and perfect for each other as rivals.
basic crybaby garbage shounen MC
also
O MY SEVEN QUIRKS and Kishimoto is a hack
The only way Hori can pull something decent out of the shitshow that is 7 quirks is if there’s an arc where people start suspecting Midoriya’s quirk and the only ones that can help him are Explosion Cuck and AmericanChad
The only way for My cuck academia to be saved is if Deku straight up gets murdered, and then literally no one cries about it or remembers him, there, I saved your shit series, you're welcome.
ironically only betas hate him
You may have just offered an alternative that would distinguish him from All-Might from the beginning while capitalizing on Deku's intelligence/power memorization. Good job.
He is so lame it hurts
I was re reading and when he fight Baku and lose was so cringy
Instead of telling Baku to fuck off and grow up he battle with him and lose, then is punished like baku and everybody talks about how rebels they both were
And in were he was in punishment asked Baku what he thought about his move seeking his approvation, wtf dude have at least some pride
And he didnt even clean right!
Ironically only beta likes him
The one who where bullied in high school by the cool guy they wanted to be
You mean chads
>because his vanilla one sucks and is boring
It's a good power for a more traditional MC, which Deku should be by now. I dropped it early though, but I remember All-Might being the most hype thing in when he appeared. Super Strength in a fighting manga works, but Deku was setup as an intelligent fighter which was a novel concept that fell on its face I suppose.
Yup
>INB4 b-but he studied other people quirks
Based and Crullerpilled
Deku literally had only 2 flaws to his character, him constantly not wanting to be behind others, and him lacking self esteem, now he's pretty much blown past those two things and any attempt to state that he hasn't will seem like bad writing.
They literally had to pull an Ace on Mirio (someone who is practically like the main character but better in every way and thus has to be written out to not make the MC look like shit), Mirio is what Deku could've been if he wasn't a bitch and as such had to be eliminated
the same reason the evangelion fanbase hates and mocks shinji and calls him a bitch this time around it's just the word cuck is being used for deku instead of bitch
Deku is the MC and there's nothing you can do about it.
If you compare him to basically any action shounen protagonist, he carries no history with him and no personality traits that make him engaging to follow. He was just bullied as a kid. Even a shitty Marty Stu like Asta has the low class orphan angle that he carries with him wherever he goes, and his personality is seen as an outlier. No, I don't think Deku lacking interesting traits makes him a likable everyman.
The most frustrating thing about Mirio is how under explored the entire idea that All Might made an impulsive decision in choosing Deku was. Nighteye and his power only exist to be proven wrong, and they're proven wrong way too soon. He was not the source of doubt he should have been. The logic behind Deku being the right choice after all is completely circular, he wins because he has One for All, not because he's Deku. Nighteye tells us Deku bent the future but there's no way of actually fucking conveying to us how Mirio couldn't have done the same thing if he had One for All. It's a lazy shortcut. The quandary isn't actually resolved, its swept under the rug because Mirio is benched, and the story acts like its resolved. It's so disappointing because for a story so fixated on legacy, this is probably the only time the choice for succession gets brought up for a long goddamn time, if ever again.
His personality is shit.
Then again, all shonen MC's are shit.
Doesn't make the series less enjoyable, just less enjoyable whenever the fag mc shows up to asspull to save the day.
>he says with a shitren reaction pic
Oh I laffed hard
I don't really hate him but it's obvious the author doesn't even care about him.
He started off as one of those autistic smart MUH JOURNAL WITH EVERYBODY'S STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES types in the beginning and then just became some guy who punches and kicks people without thinking.
>They literally had to pull an Ace on Mirio (someone who is practically like the main character but better in every way and thus has to be written out to not make the MC look like shit)
Nah, Ace was literally just the cooler older brother, but there are things about Luffy that Ace doesn't have. Luffy has way more charisma, Ace was mostly following WB. Mihawk even realized Luffy was a bigger threat than Roger's son since he had that charisma. Ace's death is ironic in that the marines tried to stop the era of pirates by killing the beacon of all pirates and freedom, but Luffy will inevitably become that whether Ace is alive or not.
It's the damndest thing. All that whining about how life without a quirk is so awful when most aren't that great at all. Then a character is introduced who greatly makes up for how bleh his power is. How do you sympathetic with the MC when the story is undermining any attempt to do that?
>hey I built this protagonist from crybaby nerd to a pretty cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything
>oops he got humiliated by his bully
>oops his story got hijacked by Mirio for a year
>oops he struggled to beat a career jobber villain and his midget girlfriend
>oops he got 6 mystery quirks that will undoubtedly save his ass next time he's in a jam
Gee how could anyone possibly sour on this character?
Yeah Deku is just lucky to have met All mighty and thats all
Mina is even better than Deku, she actually stopped the bulling by making the bullies and the bullied friends, She jumped in while the scary looking guy asked direction, even if she was scared.
Funny things is that even Kirishima is more likeable than Deku and he was not so brave as mina/deku, like Baku but dont have problems calling out his shit
Well yes. That's his only pow-OH MY 6 NEW QUIRKS!
People like the series because of the wide cast of interesting heroes and would-be heroes. They dislike Deku because he's the most boring and annoying member of the cast, which is full of literally dozens of other characters who are far more fun to watch.
>everyone else is getting cool new moves like unbreakable Kirishima and recipro turbo
>meanwhile the best Deku can do is another variant of a punch
While this is a vast oversimplification it isn't actually wrong. Deku constantly jobbing to Bakugou in literally EVERYTHING is super grating to read.
I don’t think a fag of one of the most hated anime MCs ever has any place to talk
>Then a character is introduced who greatly makes up for how bleh his power is.
You mean Mirio? Phasing is pretty badass. Though yeah I prefer a quirk that has obvious drawbacks at first but the user mastered it to make up for the shortcomings.
All I'm saying is AM made it work. Maybe if Deku was always just a scrapper it'd be fitting for his character to just be really good at fighting and use his fighting skill to maximize the quirk. AM just blitzed his opponents with all he had. Sadly that's not the case with Deku who has a boring power for his "strategic" fights.
Honesty, Shinji was far more justified in his moping. It's not even comparable beyond the superficial. Deku resembles Kensuke too, another nerd who would have jumped at the opportunity to be a hero and sulks about not having his wish fulfilled.
Yeah Ace got killed because he was too cocky, Shanks himself come to whitebeard asking him to call back Ace since Blackbeard was too dangerous and even whitebeard agreed after being insulted by the request
At least Ace and luffy had an history togheter you see Luffy going against the government to save his brother, and understand why Ace sacrifices for luffy, they both love eachother
Sabo is a shit btw
I agree Shinji is a bitch but you can understand him
Her mother died and his father is an asshole, first thing he asked you when you met is Jumping on the robot to fight a Monster?
Then when your schoolmates got trapped inside an Eva he took controls of your Eva so you can see from the first seat your Eva killing Toji, no wonder he didnt want to pilot anymore
Gendo is an asshole but at least is pretty explained in the show
Get better bait. This is getting old.

Made me reply to your recycled, regurgitated, retardation.
He embodies everything wrong with modern battle shounen.
What is up with all these esl shonen posts recently
it's a handful of people who are trying to stir shit up.
>if he's seen using any of them he risks exposing the secret of one for all and fucking everything up.
Fuck up what exactly? What's going to happen if people find out Deku has all mights power? Like, the media will swarm his house or something? Wow.
I've suddenly forgot about this character exist since it currently the villain arc right now.
At this point the Batman Deku meme seems more appealing
Only dumbasses with lazy parents that dont do their job will have that problem.
All quirks are retarded asspulls so why even bother caring about another one?
As been pointed out before, if youre whining about the seven quirks and Deku being handed everything, you'll bitch even more about the levels of asspull needed to make Batdeku work. Especially when he becomes batgoddeku just like Batman has become.
i dropped this serie after a few episodes, what are his new quirks you guys are talking about?
have you checked up your butt?
I have to wonder why anyone even bothered to start this series if the protagonist pisses you off so much.
But I know Yea Forums loves to be contrarian for the sake of it because hating popular things makes you "cool", so trying to rationalize the hatred you guys have is stupid.
Enjoy your "lol deku cuck" memes I guess.
I generally like the series but like said, watching Deku constantly lose is seriously annoying.
As some people have pointed out, he has become less interesting over time. I loved the most recent arc and the pro hero arc, but Deku has trouble holding my attention.
The only thing about shit like this is if Deku truly doesn't have a quirk. It's either cheat and take the power or you don't get to play at all.
I liked Deku in the Sports Festival. I started disliking him in Yakuza, and that grew into hate during Joint Training.
Deku having more than one quirk is clearly meant to be a device used by Hori because he ran out of good ideas for Deku's real power, which is punch hard.
The way he implemented the new quirks though, was subpar to say the very least. It is an asspull, no fucking doubt in my mind. But it could've been done much better if he realized he wanted Deku to have more than one quirk earlier on.
Another issue with this scene is that it doesn't change anything about any of the characters. This doesn't affect his relationship with any characters outside of the ones in his head that were JUST introduced. The scene that this is compared to, the famous 'O MY RUBBER NEN' scene from HxH, has weight to it. It re-establishes how powerful Nen after death can be for the current arc for a start, but it also changes the relationship between Hisoka and the Phantom Troupe. Hisoka has gone from a cocky clown seeking strong opponents to a bitter loser hellbent on destroying the group that bested him so easily. It adds another layer of tension to the current arc, as on that boat is a group of people, who already have a relationship with one of the main characters, that are pissed because two of their friends are dead at the hands of a traitor.
O MY RUBBER NEN had purpose beyond re-establishing Nen After Death. It changes characters, relationships, removes some characters from the story completely, and will probably reverberate to cause many more events within this arc.
O MY SEVEN QUIRKS won't have an effect on the characters. It only exists because Deku has one of the most dull powers in the series.
I was honestly fine with him losing to Bakugou during their fight. Bakugou had fucked up and lost to Deku more than he had won by that point, and Deku already had that "I'm getting back at you for bullying me" moment the first time they went against each other. Not to mention this had more emotional weight for Bakugou than it did Deku. I wouldn't call it getting humiliated since it's not like anyone else was watching or like Deku had anything to gain from winning it. I kind of feel like most people who hate the outcome of that fight are those self inserters who hate that they couldn't live out their power fantasy of beating up their high school bully. If there is any reason to hate Deku at this point, it's not his lack of strength/being too strong, but that it doesn't feel like he has anywhere to go as a character at the moment. He's in a weird spot right now as Hori focuses on the other characters, so he's become rather boring. I don't personally hate him, but he could use a good conflict or two to focus on now that he's got these new power-ups.
I'm honestly a little surprised whenever I see someone call whatever many quirks an asspull considering STORES POWER, ALL THE POWER, BY THE WAY I WAS ALSO QUIRKLESS is beaten into your fucking skull like it's a drum. By the time I stopped reading- before it was even revealed officially, apparently- I already thought it had been mentioned because of how beleaguered the writing on the wall was.
> Deku already had that "I'm getting back at you for bullying me" moment the first time they went against each other.
But Deku lost that fight. His arm got completely fucked up by Bakugou who was even forced to hold back by All Might on the penalty of immediate disqualification. Deku lost the battle but Uraraka won the war for him.
>Why did you watch it if you weren't going to like it???
Youtube tier brainlet comment.
>Deku having more than one quirk is clearly meant to be a device used by Hori because he ran out of good ideas for Deku's real power, which is punch hard.
You must be baiting. Otherwise, you must have the reading comprehension of a 2-year-old if you didn't see the multiple quirk angle coming from a mile away. He's been vaguely seeing those other characters since the tournament arc. It's not a surprise they showed up again when the character primarily responsible for unlocking that part of his mind the first time around showed up again. Not to mention the explanation All Might gave Deku about OfA and AfO suggested it the second her described the other quirk being a transfer of a "stockpiling" power. That's not even mentioning how it foreshadowed the whole change happening right before the arc started with his quirk wet dreams. It boggles my mind just how many people failed to understand that and insist these new powers came out of nowhere.
>But Deku lost that fight. His arm got completely fucked up by Bakugou who was even forced to hold back by All Might on the penalty of immediate disqualification. Deku lost the battle but Uraraka won the war for him.
His arm got fucked up because he used his quirk on a last-minute plan that ended up being a success. Uraraka only won because Deku told her his plan while Bakugou was listening to All Might. Bakugou lost that match completely, whether he was unharmed or not. That's the whole point of his anxiety attack and emotional outburst at the end of the day. Even Bakugou notes that if Deku was really intending to fight him for real and use the quirk on him, Deku would have won at that point.
>it was foreshadowed therefore it's good
Let's ignore the fact that the foreshadowing was so sporadic to the point you'd even forget it was a plot point. We sat through 7 months of Deku's classmates getting owned by literal whos all for the payoff of him getting 6 new quirks that he can't even use right away. Compare that to the other ways you could have introduced the new quirks, say, one of them spawns inexplicably or they all suddenly appear in very rough form. You could build on the former by having Deku investigating where these new powers came from, or build off the latter by Deku learning how to balance his suddenly full plate of quirks.
But no, Hori the hack has to go the cockteasing route once again and have one ghost show up just to give us a glimpse of the future we have to wait even longer for. You already know that these mystery quirks are going to bail Deku out of trouble later on, maybe even bring him back to life after a villain kills him for drama.
We all thought O MY WISHING ENERGY was an asspull. Turns out it was just a teaser for an outcome that is literally asspulls as quirks.
>Literally no tension when he's going to fight now
except he hasnt fought since then in the manga, and it didnt even save his ass when he pulled the powers out of his ass.
all you have are butthurt expectations
Why does every arc in this series feel like it's just preparation for the story instead of the actual story
I'm fine with backstories and whatnot but you don't need to slam the brakes on everything else just so you can focus on such-and-such characters exclusively for half a year
he's just not an interesting character
I’m surprised people still give a flying fuck about BnHA when it’s the most boring shonen garbage in years. Literally every single trope has been done better with other manga before it.
>>it was foreshadowed therefore it's good
No, it was foreshadowed, therefore, it wasn't a complete asspull like people stupidly suggest. whether you like it or not is subjective.
>Let's ignore the fact that the foreshadowing was so sporadic to the point you'd even forget it was a plot point. We sat through 7 months of Deku's classmates getting owned by literal whos all for the payoff of him getting 6 new quirks that he can't even use right away.
I'm sorry the story didn't bash the fact into your head enough and spoon-feed you the plot like you wanted it to.
I don't even want to comment on this. You are literally being that guy that hates a story point because it's not doing what you thought it should do. What's worse is that it literally does exactly that, just instead of revealing every new quirk at once, it showed a rough version of one that spawned inexplicably. He now has to investigate how to unlock and use it when he needs to and investigate what the other quirks and people are.
ok, but let me counter with this:
it's got great waifus,
and that's all that really matters
reddit spacing
What does that have to do with anything other than he has a retarded fanbase? So people realize this was made to mick retards like OP right?
>it's got great waifus,
Finally, someone focusing the series's strengths rather than its weaknesses.
>risks exposing the secret
Wow how horrifying
Too bad the majority of the fanbase over-sexualizes all of the underage characters to a disgusting level
He's a beta cuck.
Eh, no worse than any other anime. At least BnHA has plenty of variety. There is a waifu for everyone.
Hm fair enough
it's not disgusting as long as they've gone through puberty. it's only disgusting to act on those urges in real-life or to be attracted to a pre-pubescent female regardless of whether she's real or not. secondary-sex characteristics exist for a reason.
Dumb skepticposter
>He now has to investigate how to unlock and use it when he needs to and investigate what the other quirks and people are.
Except he's not going to do that. He'll only end up in OfA dream world whenever the plot demands he use a new quirk.
Doesn't it seem odd that he started having OfA dreams right before joint training? Why didn't they happen right after the tournament when the ghosts knew of his presence?
ok now for my real answer:
the waifus are important, yes, but the reason why the waifus are so great to begin with is because what people like are the character designs. not the characters themselves. i guarantee you it's the designs that are the driving force behind this show's popularity.
I could've told you that years ago.
Fanbase does not hate him, as evidenced by the series still selling well worldwide.
Now, much of Yea Forums hates him for one of the three reasons:
(1)Simple shit taste.
(2)The story not being fairy tale enough for the liking of some people. Yea Forumsnons like
believe that the world must always be fair, rewarding virtue and punishing vice with 100% accuracy. The truths like you being doomed to obscurity no matter how hard you work if you've failed to be born with talent and chance on good connections are too hard to bear for them.
(3)Some Yea Forumsnons also are completely shallow and judge people entirely by appearances, so they can look at nigh-unimaginable badass like Deku (who for the first third of the series had to break his bones whenever he wanted to bring out any impressive level of super strength), see that he shows emotion from time to time and go "waaah crybaby".
>or to be attracted to a pre-pubescent female regardless of whether she's real or not.
What, why wouldn’t it matter wether it’s real or not? Also, you can’t help feeling attracted to what you’re attracted to. A natural involuntary reaction can’t be disgusting. You can choose not to act on them, though.
>no one calls out this faggotry
Shonenshitter threads really are another world.
>They literally had to pull an Ace on Mirio (someone who is practically like the main character but better in every way and thus has to be written out to not make the MC look like shit), Mirio is what Deku could've been if he wasn't a bitch and as such had to be eliminated
Imagine being such a brainlet that a story written for 12-years old is far too complex for you and your judgement of characters is 100% based on appearance and manners.
Mirio quite literally signed away his powers (and mentor) when he overrode Deku at the moment when they could have ganged up on isolated Overhaul, because he prioritized procedure, or, at best, overtly cautious tactical considerations, over doing the right thing.
>Why didn't they happen right after the tournament when the ghosts knew of his presence?
Because he wasn't powerful enough for that yet you speed-reader. Why were they going to let him use those quirks when he was still breaking bones on the reg and All Might wasn't even fully done with OfA yet? There is a reason why everyone (ghosts included)have been talking about OfA in percentages. Did you seriously not at least expect a small twist to his powers beyond "he's gonna punch harder now" when he got past the single-digit percentages?
I've been thinking about it and I think my biggest issue with this series is an overall lack of objective. Oh sure Deku has his dream of being the number one hero but well know that's not gonna happen in anything outside an epilogue so it's hard to feel invested in that goal. Most of the time he just farts around doing hero school stuff, and while they do fight villains, it feels like the villains only treat them like a secondary nuisance while their attention is on the real heroes.
If you look at say, Rurouni Kenshin, all of the drama is centered around Kenshin. He's the wandering ex man slayer who's ideals are challenged, he's the one the villains want to square off with and he's the one who's tasked with the missions. We're seeing the crisis through his eyes but it's his crisis. Deku feels like a sidekick. Maybe this all gets better later on, I confess I dropped it pretty swiftly, but the issue isn't really does Deku feel like a GOOD protagonists but does he even feel like one at all?
because being attracted to a prepubescent female (or a male for that matter) that lacks secondary sex characteristics is unnatural and means there's something wrong with you because it cannot be an instinctual urge based on the need to survive and reproduce. this makes it objectively ugly because it defies the natural order.
it doesn't matter whether the urge is involuntary or not. the urge is still disgusting. you become disgusting too if you act on it.
what? the endgame objective is to neutralize the threat to the whole world that all-for-one represents. or kill him. either way as long as he still exists and possesses his powers then the world could be on the edge of catastrophe at any moment.
most likely deku will become the GOAT by defeating (and neutralizing) all for one.
>shit taste
What irony from a bottom feeding Yea Forumsedditor.
>The story not being fairy tale enough for the liking of some people.
Too fairy tale, honestly. That's why it's so beloved, perfect self-insert material for weak-willed losers with delusions of grandeur. Is generic isekaishit also "realistic" writing to you? Just sit around until the universe gives you want in life, and only then will make something of your chuuni ass. Maybe.
>Batman Deku
Had you actually tried to read comic books, or even watch cartoons, instead of memeing, you would have known that Batman is the Asspull King of Bullshit Hill, and if something as small as a character having powers to potentially bail him out of danger triggers you, you would be foaming at the mouth after seeing Deku duplicate some of Batman's less outlandish feats, like replacing all the depowering bullets that Overhaul's gang had with blanks before fight even starts.
>Did you seriously not at least expect a small twist to his powers beyond "he's gonna punch harder now" when he got past the single-digit percentages?
No because the concept of having your quirk dreams become clearer the stronger you get is retarded video game logic and only convinces me that Hori just did the premonitions then because he needed something resembling drama.
Naruto didn't meet the Kyuubei by leveling up; he got there because he experience the trauma of having his heart chidori'd.
so does this mean you're one of the mythical "strong-willed" types because you don't like it and that makes you morally superior to those who do for some reason?
>you would have known that Batman is the Asspull King of Bullshit Hill
I bet you can't name 10 instances of batman asspulling to victory
>b-b-buh muh le-le-le-leddit
Not at an argument.
>Too fairy tale, honestly.
And yet you demand to be working MORE on fairy tale logic.
>Is generic isekaishit also "realistic" writing to you?
Sorry, I do not watch/read shit I'm not likely to like, including anything with video game mechanics, and I do not discuss shit I do not watch/read.
>what? the endgame objective is to neutralize the threat to the whole world that all-for-one represents.
yeah but that's not Deku's goal. This isn't like the Meiji government coming to Kenshin to beg him to kill the man who was his successor. I wouldn't doubt that Deku's contribution wouldn't be significant but ultimately it's the adult's problem and if Deku gets involved it's less to do with challenging his dark mirror and tragic past more to do with being a well intentioned buttinski.
Anime characters are attractive the same way sexualized high school kids in teen drama shows are supposed to be attractive. The highschoolers in those show usually look absolutely nothing like real high school kids. They look like adults playing kids.
Love how attacking Deku outs all the crossboarding underage trash who genuinely love this garbage. It's Naruto all over again.
>all the underage characters
You can have sex with 15-16 years old in over 100 countries. You just can't tape it or take pictures.
I can, but first you have to name 10 cases of Batman winning without asspulls.
wow dude ur so cool
>Anime characters are attractive the same way sexualized high school kids in teen drama shows are supposed to be attractive.
this is a matter of perception
>The highschoolers in those show usually look absolutely nothing like real high school kids. They look like adults playing kids.
comparing the way real people look to the way anime characters look when making the point you're making only cheapens the point you were making because of how silly it is on its face.
it's a completely false dichotomy.
If you want something done in life, you fucking do it yourself. A job won't just be handed to you. Stacy won't get on her hands and knees and beg to be fucked by you. Your dinner won't make itself.
Deku is the embodiment of "Don't improve." He's a beta cuck who deserved to be bullied for being so childish in his mindset. He had no balls, no drive, only a vague goal of "helping people", and even then he never even tried to achieve it.
Out of every Shounen I've read, Deku is by far the worst protagonist. He actively makes me feel worse and like I should be doing literally anything else so I don't end up like him. He is quite literally the fairy tale self insert, just gets every golden opportunity handed to him without trying. If BnHA was realistic, he would've killed himself, attempt to kill others but fail like Elliot Rodger basically did, or become a NEET. He'd be a side character in his own life, just like you.
you weren't talking about deku's goal specifically though. you were talking about the show as a whole.
>I can, but
lying fuck
Sorry, I actually misquoted you and meant to quote the initial post that started these conversations. Bt it seems like you and some others pretty much said what I was going for anyway.
What I was trying to say is that anime characters and characters in other forms of entertainment are designed to be attractive. You would be sick for finding a character like Eri sexual, sure. She is designed to be an unsexualized little girl. Finding high school girls like Momo or Mina sexy? That's different. They are designed with fully developed sexualized features.
Not refuting Batman being the king of bullshit feats, but in Batdeku's defense:
>MHA characters are nowhere near as strong as most DC characters for the most part
>The MHA universe has shown time and time again that it has technology that can do quirk-like things, just look at most support items
>The copious amounts of people on this board and off it arguing that a gun is enough to beat most MHA characters
>Knuckleduster.
Eri is unironically the sexiest MHA girl you damn pleb
I don't know man. Sure he is a bitch, but I don't hate him.
Bakugo on the other hand. I fucking hate that character, so fucking much
>loud
>obnoxious
>arrogant
>bitchy
>"genius" archetype
>currently has the MC living rent free 24/7
>gay and stupid
Projection. People who are losers like Deku resent that someone, an idol, came to Deku to help knowing nobody like that exists for them.
>OP power
>plebeian container for it
>extremely minor blowback from use
Should be literally tearing his arms and legs off every time he throws a punch or kick if we're being honest. In the beginning All Might even says there's a real possibility he'll explode, yet the most he ever gets are broken bones, cuts and bruises. So yes, it's pretty gay.
Fucking pedos. How could anyone get off to the idea of removing a little girl's clothes and licking her tiny body all over, nibbling her neck and kissing her adorable little nipples? Only a heartless monster would think about her cute girlish mouth and tongue wrapped around a thick cock slick with her saliva, pumping in and out of her mouth until it erupts, the cum more than her little throat can swallow. The idea of thick viscous semen overflowing, dribbling down her chin over her flat chest, her tiny hands scooping it all up and watching her suck it off her fingertips is just horrible. You're all a bunch of sick perverts, thinking of spreading her smooth slender thighs, cock poised at the entrance to her pure, tight, virginal pussy, and thrusting in deep as a whimper escapes her lips which are slippery with cum, while her small body shudders from having her cherry taken in one quick stroke. I am disgusted at how you'd get even more excited as you lean over her, listening to her quickening breath, her girlish moans and gasps while you hasten your strokes, her sweet pants warm and moist on your face and her flat chest, shiny with a sheen of fresh sweat, rising and falling rapidly to meet yours. It is truly nasty how you'd run your hands all over her tiny body while you violate her, feeling her nipples hardening against your tongue as you lick her chest, her neck and her armpits, savoring the scent of her skin and sweat while she trembles from the stimulation and as she reaches her climax, hearing her cry out softly as she has her first orgasm while that cock is buried impossibly deep inside her, pulsing violently as an intense amount of hot cum spurts forth and floods through her freshly-deflowered pussy for the first time, filling her womb only to spill out of her with a sickening squelch. And as you lie atop her flushed body, she sighs breathlessly and her fingers dig into your back as she feels your cock hardening inside her again. You are all sick.
>this fictional character triggers me thread number 1588502319485
>only a vague goal of "helping people", and even then he never even tried to achieve it.
Literally, the first fucking page of the entire goddamn series is him trying to stick up for and protect some rando kid from his bully, and getting the shit beaten out of him. Even then, he actively sought out All Might's advice to get clarity when the opportunity to talk to him arose, and later tried to save Bakugou after getting his dreams completely rejected by his hero. Which, after all that, was something he considered enough for him and was going to reevaluate his goals before All Might stepped in and gave him another option.
>Deku is the embodiment of "Don't improve."
Except for the part where he does that on a regular basis after he gains some self-esteem and a clear understanding of what to work towards. If your asspain over the manga is just the setup for the premise, I doubt you'll have fun with any series with your strict "above it all" mentality.
N-no idea!
Even Naruto wasn't this bad as a Character it made some sense for him to be the annoying shit he was in part 1 because of how he grew up
Deku is just post pain Naruto but somehow worse
I wish time and time again that they didn't give him powers and he had to batman his way in the world.
>naruto's childhood matters
>but not dekus
see your hypocrisy?
I think deku is lacking as a character but the whole "h-he didn't train until all might gave him power!!" complaint is completely retarded
here's a groundbreaking revelation: humans can't do shit all alone, this idea that the isolated individual can rise above his condition through the sheer force of his willpower alone is a very modern concept and essentially nonsensical
deku was bottom of the barrel for years and had no support whatsoever except from his well meaning but ultimately powerless mother, and struggling kids simply can't do anything worthwhile without a strong, positive masculine role model in their life showing them the way
the story of bnha is the story of deku and all might's relationship and more broadly than that it's a story about the need for cooperation and accepting help from others which is a positive and more importantly TRUE message because that's how reality works, this whole unga bunga I'll be number one by myself bargain bin nietzschean mindset some bnha spergs have is hilariously delusional and ironically exactly what bakugo is supposed to grow out of in the story
tl;dr it's one of the main themes of the story and it's actually a good one and you're retarded if you can't see it
See the difference is Naruto eventually got over his insecurities and stop being a sperg all the time
as an example before the Zabuza arc, Naruto looked at the world with rose-tinted glasses and didn't seem to understand the world around him, after the arc, Naruto understood his new ideals that he got from Zabuza and Haku and understood that the Shinobi world was a cruel place but he'd never be someone else's tool
Deku grows so god damn slow, it's like watching paint dry but I think that's more of the fault with the overall setting of the series though, there is nothing to snap Deku and force him to grow like there was for Nardo
Woah, he protected some kid when he was 6. Who fucking cares, he's still that bully's little bitch and has more blatant homolust for him than any Digimon rivalry has ever had. He quite literally didn't improve himself in the years following that, since he's a beta male that could easily pass as a trap if he tried. Him saving Bakugo that one time just shows he wants to be a hero, but why put in the effort if he can't be a popular hero? The first time he actually TRIES to IMPROVE is when All Might offers him his pubes.
This guy is worse than Naruto, because at least Naruto aimed to compete in his goal to be the best. And Naruto is a fucking dogshit tier Shounen protagonist.
You are fucking retarded mate. Deku's progress was way faster. Right from the start he had the will and wit to act and consistently tried his darnest to improve. He always stood up for himself and not once has be backed out of anything.
>He always stood up for himself
>Still follows the guy who repeatedly talks down on him and bullied him as a kid and praises him like Jesus's second coming
even Nardo didn't take that shit from Sauce in part 1 and always threw shit back at him
>Deku's progress was way faster
by the time Naruto and Sasuke fought at the valley of the end, Deku learned he could kick too
Naruto is a dog shit character but he at least admitted he was a pussy when they first got attacked by those rouge ninjas and vowed he wouldn't back down again, he shows he followed through with that promise during the forest of death arc, that shows he grew even just a little
Deku got everything handed to him the same way Naruto did after getting the Fox's cloak which made him and everything after that practically insufferable
BnHA is trying to market Deku as an underdog and then is making all the mistakes Naruto made but somehow even worse
nigga Shinji has all the rights to complaint, his life is fucked and everyone is a bad influence on him
>Still follows the guy who repeatedly talks down on him and bullied him as a kid and praises him like Jesus's second coming
Thats doesn't change the fact that he stand up to him.
Did you miss the whole memo of "You're the best, thats why I'm going to surpass you!" ?
>by the time Naruto and Sasuke fought at the valley of the end, Deku learned he could kick too
And Deku and Bakugo fought for a second time one arc later.
>Deku got everything handed to him the same way Naruto did after getting the Fox's cloak which made him and everything after that practically insufferable
You are fucking stupid, Naruto had to work for the Fox cloak and Deku getting his power only meant he had to work harder not the other way around.
>BnHA is trying to market Deku as an underdog
This hasn't been true for fucking ages.
>Woah, he protected some kid when he was 6. Who fucking cares, he's still that bully's little bitch and has more blatant homolust for him than any Digimon rivalry has ever had.
I figured you cared since you seemed assblasted at the idea he didn't... hence:
>only a vague goal of "helping people", and even then he never even tried to achieve it.
>Him saving Bakugo that one time just shows he wants to be a hero, but why put in the effort if he can't be a popular hero? The first time he actually TRIES to IMPROVE is when All Might offers him his pubes.
I dunno man, risking your life by using your tactical studies to save someone you don't even really like in a situation where you are more likely to be insta-killed with one misstep seems like an effort to me. Deku has never seemed interested in how popular a hero is, even from the get-go. He seems more fascinated with the concept of heroes than what it being a hero can do to benefit him. Also, he applied to the school and was studying even before meeting All Might. Sorry he wasn't the gym rat you wished to project onto, he went to tactical route instead.
>This guy is worse than Naruto, because at least Naruto aimed to compete in his goal to be the best. And Naruto is a fucking dogshit tier Shounen protagonist.
Deku was still aiming for his goal, he just wasn't an overconfident asshole about it.
>Deku got everything handed to him the same way Naruto did after getting the Fox's cloak which made him and everything after that practically insufferable
Lol I thought and were kidding about people like you. Yet, here you are!
>Thats doesn't change the fact that he stand up to him.
>Did you miss the whole memo of "You're the best, thats why I'm going to surpass you!" ?
Sounds very homosexual desu
>And Deku and Bakugo fought for a second time one arc later.
no actual real stakes were set, Naruto and Sasuke fighting in the VOTE was actual story progression with Sasuke going rouge, Deku and Baku round 2 is closer to the Hospital rooftop fight and that was literally there to only set up the entire arc
>You are fucking stupid, Naruto had to work for the Fox cloak and Deku getting his power only meant he had to work harder not the other way around.
that's not what I meant, Naruto did work for the Fox's cloak by beating the shit out of said fox but everything after that was handed to him, like Ninja Jesus powers, Deku didn't train his ass off until he got All Might's pubes
>This hasn't been true for fucking ages.
Just because it isn't true now doesn't mean it wasn't true at some point, it's why part 2 and especially the war arc was such a shitshow, it shat on that whole underdog shit
BNHA just shat on it a lot earlier
He's probably the worst character in his own series, everyone else is a bit more interesting than him and i rather have them as the main character
not an argument
>that's not what I meant, Naruto did work for the Fox's cloak by beating the shit out of said fox but everything after that was handed to him, like Ninja Jesus powers, Deku didn't train his ass off until he got All Might's pubes
Had had to train like a madman for 10 months BERFORE All Might would give him the pubes you brainlet.
What is the purpose of Mirio? I know this is by the book trope but usually when we are introduced to a character seemingly better than MC usually they have flaws that makes MC ultimately better or MC finally surpassed him somehow. But I feel Mirio is better to the end.
Anyone feel the same?
>promised the strongest of all quirks by his role model if he trains his ass off
look, it's a bad underdog story but if it's trying to be a wish fulfillment story than so be it, quality is up for debate but I'm not gonna argue that
I was talking about BNHA.
Deku hasn't been an underdog relative to his class ever since he learned Full Cowl.
>no actual real stakes were set, Naruto and Sasuke fighting in the VOTE was actual story progression with Sasuke going rouge, Deku and Baku round 2 is closer to the Hospital rooftop fight and that was literally there to only set up the entire arc
I problem here is that Bakugo and Deku's rivalry doesn't drive the main plot beyond incidental elements (the rivalry itself).
Naruto wanting to get back Sausage becomes practically his objective beyond becoming president at points. But I fucking hate Sausage and the focus on him was fucking shit.
Deku and Bakugo isn't that annoying if you at least don't care for it that much.
>Deku didn't train his ass off until he got All Might's pubes
He had to train to get those pubes. And him receiving the power meant he had to train even harder. There is nothing wrong with giving character power if there are ramification.
>it's a bad underdog story
Because it isn't one.
>wish fulfillment story
Its not because Deku still has to bust his ass and his bones to progress.
I wasn't trying to argue with you.
>Its not because Deku still has to bust his ass and his bones to progress.
>Goes from quirkless nothing to having the strongest quirk from his role model and then 6 other quirks
it's literally fanfiction tier but that's the standard with these Shounen now, so what do I give, BNHA is a show to turn your brain off to and just watch it just like any other shounen
>BnHA is trying to market Deku as an underdog
>BNHA is a show to turn your brain off to and just watch it just like any other shounen
This so much. Over analyzing every little detail that doesn't match up perfectly like so many of you do is a recipe for having a shit time. Just accept it's supposed to be mindless shounen fun and you'll feel a lot better about it.
>we will have 6 training sagas
Fuck that sounds awesome.
In all honesty I'm not to fond of the seven quirks stuff myself but I'm at least waiting to see how things play out. I can think of a few ways to move forward without this becoming shit and Horikoshi might surprise me with a different one.
why does peopel like op pretend to be part of the fanbase when he just wants to bash on a character and talk to himself?
>it's a bad underdog story
>Because it isn't one.
You're right but I don't think the author or half the fanbase know that
It's an underdog story until he learns full cowling. In fact even past that it remains an underdog story in terms of short-term conflict. The Deku of a particular moment is usually outclassed or overwhelmed by the challenge before him, but in the grand scheme of things we know his power holds the potential to beat everyone else's. I don't think this is a problem, people just need to separate the two ideas in their heads instead of thinking they invalidate each other.
based
because OP is a fag. you should understand this by now.
OH MY SEVEN QUIRKS
I know it's not his fault he got a bullshit powerup but that still pisses me off.
You can always tell with the level of Yea Forums hating something that it's usually pretty good
>(1)Simple shit taste.
we share Yea Forums with this kind of faggots
Who cares about exposing the secret? All for One already knows and All Might is finished
>Complaining about ass pull powers
>In shonen anime
Get a fucking grip Yea Forums. This is a cliche of the genre by now
Dragon Ball
>He started off as one of those autistic smart MUH JOURNAL WITH EVERYBODY'S STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES types in the beginning and then just became some guy who punches and kicks people without thinking.
It's like he was being set up to be Batman and then it just went "fuck that" and went full Superman.
He lost the mental war, but people want to see Deku beat Bakugou in an actual fight. Usually when they square off, bakugou comes out on top and people are annoyed at that. Victories to the ego aren't much when actual worth is proven externally from combat. That's what shounen manga are for right?
Because he was whiny faggot who did nothing to achieve his dream from the start. He wanted to be hero, knew that was almost impossible without quirk but instead of working even harder to overcome the difficulties he put almost no effort and spent his time daydreaming. Even after he got the powers Deku was content to just waddle aimless instead of pushing himself to make up for the lost years without quirk. People love to shit on Bakugo, but at least the explosion sperg has good reason for hating Deku since despite his other faults Bakugo at least put the effort in training himself. Then when he finds out that lol Deku had quirk too from perspective its either 1) Deku lying about not having one for years or 2) Deku getting lucky as fuck by spontaneously activating one. You would be pissed off too if so talentless hack insisted he would be better than you despite putting none of the effort that you do.
tl;dr: Deku is lucky scrub who wants to be acknowledged without working for it and deserves to get hated for it.
>P-Please don't say bad things about my favorite anime because other anime do it too
Christ these shitposters are pathetic
>Someone who’s actually willing to wait and see where the story goes before complaining
You’re a rare breed user. I had the same feeling with the yakuza arc where it didn’t go as I hoped it’d go but looking at the story now I’m happy with the direction it’s went. I wish people would stop saying a story is ruined just because it’s gone a direction people didn’t expect.
No, not really.
>T...the s..s..stuttering meme
It's just retarded to single out this one story for something most of them do
I honestly think that all the problems with Deku at the moment is because it’s been ages since he’s had to do anything. I’m not counting the joint training because he was basically an exposition tool there. The last real thing he did series was fight Gentle. Deku’s been around but he hasn’t been the actual focus of the story for over a year.
Fuck you, Gendo Ikari is father of the year. After finally getting the custody of his estranged son back first thing he does is to have sexy woman fetch him & give him giant Robot to play with because thats what teenage boys like. When that doesn't work out as well as expected Gendo tries even harder by having his kid live together with multiple hot girls while taking care of all of the boring red tape by himself. And what does the ungrateful little faggot Shinji do? Mope around & angst despite living the dream of every teenage boy ever.
Gendo did nothing wrong, its not his fault that his boy grew up to be spineless faggot
There's doing something everyone already do and then doing something everyone already do, doing it badly, and getting praised for it by idiots
This is blatantly false and misleading. The reason Shinji grew up to be a bitch was because he was given too much comfort. Gendo is just making the problem worse by giving him hot babes and cool robots.
There is literally no backlash from him attracting attention other than him having to deal with pesky news reporters. We already know there's a traitor within the academy so AfO/ someone that works with him already knows deku can use more than one quirk.
>An autist who only steals easy to use quirks is a world-class thread
Lol no, AfO is by no means a threat to the world. If he bother to trained and master a few quirks then maybe but the way he uses them? No
1. Are still stronger than a kid without a quirk and are often more durable depending on the quirk.
2.All the tech heroes are all sponsored and inventors aren't heroes themselves, just regulated to support roles. Deku would have to be rich to do both on his own, otherwise be hampered by said sponsor pulling the plug on him if he doesn't perform to their standards.
3. Irrelevant considering fucking Goku can dodge planetkilling beams but not guns and lasers.
4. Needs drugs and barely squeaks by. Sure lets have the equivalent of a cocanie powered kid hero.
2 and 4 are the biggest roadblocks.
Mirio's purpose is marrying Eri
MHA is great and even better now that Shigaraki is the main focus (for now). Deku chapters are just some damn BORING and this douche outright steals Iida's gimmick of fighting and copied Bakugou's technique pattern and All Mights moves. It's okay to be inspired but to outright steal proves he has no dignity.
you're wrong and he was right
based Haulerchad
Oh be careful. Cant point out facts
>tactical studies
Fanboying over heroes and writing about them in your journal isn't "tactical studies".
Based Gentlemanposter
Deku is boring, soulless and pathetic. Whenever I see him I get the urge to punch him.
he's a faggot
>I have to work harder than anyone
no you don't
He is still better than the entire cast not including all might and that small eye freak who lost his quirk.
the only character he's more interesting than is lida, probably
I have no idea how there are people who defend a character like Deku. He is plain disgusting, he doesn't deserve the power he obtained.
I thought Deku was going to prove that anyone can be a hero by his own effort, but he became nothing more than an example of power fantasy.
