Shows how good the powerscaling in Negima was for the longest time here. Nagi spell here vaporized a mountain and then some, which still would be a big deal even late in the manga and after all the people got introduced.

Ken really did a fantastic job keeping so much consistent once the genre shift begin to kick in, especially for a shounen. Seem too many of those which go full retard with the power levels by bringing in bigger and badder people who mysteriously weren't around or creating plot holes.

It's great to be re-experiencing Negima for the first time in years. But it's also bittersweet to know that all roads lead to UQ Holder.

Fucking buildups like these are the greatest really. The elbow technique, sealing bottle, Practe Bigi Nar Ardescrat, and now the Lightning Axe, it's no surprise that this series is still so good even to this day.

And then we never see him again. Good.

Negi's got plan after plan, and once all the plans fail his friend manage to save him in a pinch. This is exactly why Negi will never be able to become like his father!
