these character designs disturb me.

Not going to bother making gifs but a great example of what i'm talking about is the first season of mob psycho, although flashy with lots of color was great. The second season of mob psycho had pretty generic flashy fights sequences that were more just animated mandalas than anything else.
Jin Ro for example has consistent great animation and they don't rely on cheap tricks like blind the screen with a moving mandala so they don't actually have to animate bodies and movement.

It's good but it's not the best thing ever.

I mean like actually look at this fight frame by frame. The characters aren't moving at all. The only thing that is moving is the red splotches on the screen and the background moves a tiny bit but its hard to tell because most of the background is covered in flashy colors. LMAO they even use looping animation for the character.

Animation wise S1 was the best. The two colossal titans that appeared in the last two seasons were completely CGI. From background characters to horses, and even landscape it was CGI with reused shots. The character's thick outlines were thinner and at times gone. It was a slideshow half of the time with sakuga moments at best.
