Is this Black Trigun?

No it’s black Space Dandy, black bebop, black gurren Laggan and black Carole & Tuesday

It’s anime .

Take that haters!

Sorry I cannot decide if I like this yet I must see if the villain is fuckable or not. Villains are the most important characters.

what does japan think

sounds fucking cool

Saw the first episode, not sold on the trio, those 2 robots are annoying, it also takes alot of influence from Cowboy Bebop and Trigun so it doesn't have it's own identity yet, I'll stick with it only because the opening at the cute villain chick in it

Watch it Japanese

She's more of a side villain, though. I've also only seen the first episode so far, so I don't know if she gets more screentime. Also, I like what I've seen so far, but I'm not big fan of the vocal tracks. I was expecting something like more like the OST to the game MadWorld, if anyone's familiar with that.

Attached: Cannon-Busters-Tiephoyd.jpg (1200x848, 227K)

Yeah, this. Some of the voices are fucking grating in the dub.

That's an interesting design actually. I will give it a chance, it's not I do much aside from watching cartoons and gaming all day anyway.

it always was an anime, it even has a japanese production studio making it.

the only people who didn't accept it as one were muh trailer plebs when the japanese see it as an anime.

and racist low iq tards who think black people can't be in anime unless they are some racist caricature not knowing they have always been in anime and that dark elfs in anime are black people.

Attached: 1446267404968.png (1436x1080, 2.7M)

Is the JP one subbed? I don't know shit about Netflix, not sure if they give options.

>black people can't be in anime unless they are some racist caricature

But Carole & Tuesday is anime

>Watching it in dub

Nigga, watch it in Japanese

It’s JP dubbed. It was dubbed in Japanese 1st

true, but there are some dumb people who think all black people in anime need to look like sister krone from a promised neverland or they are not black.

Attached: Pxywikiwalkthrough369.png (325x195, 58K)

The villain sucks so far but it’s a fun show

>hentai

i found my waifu i love her she is like a cooler version of that scorpion girl from gurren lagann

How many hours ago did Netflix upload it, has anybody finished it yet?

Wheres the fucking PORN

Attached: 1563238962606.png (500x506, 411K)

>yeah it feels very bebop inspired but wearing your influence on your sleeve is not always bad as long as you bring something new to the table. e.g my hero academia is heavily inspired by marvel and dc a but tells a different type of story and brings something new as it focuses more on making the powers of certain limitations making the same powers you have seen in other places feel new

this
i can't wait for the lewds

Sam is cute but holy shit the dude is grating and not cool

Battle Angela alita

Attached: C986BC4B-D651-42FF-A41D-65B46F5DAD73.png (1334x750, 1011K)

Take Carole&Tuesday out, and put Trigun in

It’s battle Angela alita

Even if it's unoriginal I'm down for a new space western anime if the quality is good.

Attached: spike.jpg (828x686, 160K)

thats megaman though wut

I've never disputed that, I've just disputed that it's not shit.

Do I have to watch Little Busters first or can I jump right in without missing anything?

Just watch the cannon

It came out today, calm down you thirsty motherfucker.

>when you have to reset your router just to keep a thread alive

A bit too on the nose there

Yep.

They found Sam in a junk yard like Alita

got damn

Looks like ankama production for some reason

>Yea Forums

It is a cartoon all the creative decisions are made by western each episode is written by westerners al the japanese did is animate it

This. A lot of 80s cartoons outsourced the animation to Japan and other Asian countries. Those are still cartoons because they were western developed.

I'm actually looking forward to it, should be a cool story.
Just marathoned the first episode btw.
Animation wise, this shit is better than most anime airing this season. The CG is better than the dogshit in Arifureta.

Real Talk: If you watch this with japanese voice and subs it is anime. If you watch it with english voice it is cartoon.

On WOKEness, as you might expect it's present, lots of brown characters, that huge black woman character, and the pink cadillac named bessie and referred to with female pronons that transforms into a "raging bull". Now that's progress.

But it didn't seem overbearing, it's just kind of there. The characters are all doing their own thing and haven't really been soapboxing, which is good. But again, only episode 1. All in all I enjoyed the first episode.

Japanese see american cartoons as anime too though.

>Real Talk

I'm starting to believe in those netflix shills

LeShaun Thomas is literally based in Tokyo, though.

he's still a westerner

>LeShaun
*LeSean, fuck

irrelevant

It still reeks of a western weeb's OC anime ideas. It's like that kid on the playground who'd draw Dragon Ball Z OC designing his own anime. That's why it isn't anime. It's some intangible quality that makes it so like those cartoons that have an episode that ape anime style but never looks quite right.

you don't get to go to japan and call yourself japanese and make anime all you are is a weeaboo

lmao
Imagine my shock, me an oldfag accused of being a nedfligs shill

please stop you're not fooling anybody

I looked it up and he seems to be located in South Korea,

the insistence on some innate japaneseness of anime is more orientalist than a westerner working at any east-asian animation studio could possibly come up with.

>Just marathoned the first episode btw

No need to read further since your opinion obviously is shit. Its almost the next fucking decade and people are still doing this?

Attached: FFF2db.png (599x337, 75K)

It's a meme you dip.

HEY Yea Forums, THE SHERIFF IS A NIG

is bumping your own thread that much fun I hope you're no doing it for free.

I finished it.

It's enjoyable but there's no wrap-up, just a season two setup, and I was a little disappointed by that on one hand but on the other I don't know what I expected. Would have been satisfied to see Philly make his peace and go out like Spike somehow, but the ending was fun at least and basically everyone relevant is still around for later if another season gets produced. The characters did really grow on me. "Casey Ex Machina" (or whatever episode 8 is called) is a stand-out where both character development and showing off what the series has to offer are concerned.

There's one moment of on-the-nose "privilege is bad eat the rich" that I didn't overly appreciate but it's not really a theme. As a black dude I think the cast is refreshing to see but the "progressiveness", I guess, is really not in your face like you'd expect in the SJW bogeyman zeitgeist era.

I might give it a re-watch in Japanese. I honestly had no idea what language I was supposed to watch it in given it's American-made, but the dub didn't seem terrible. Anyone know how the sub measures up re: voicing and localization?

MMMM

copypasta

Yes i'm definitely going to spend my time watching a politically motivated anime created by westerners.
Retard.

>the insistence on some innate japaneseness of anime

sorry but what culture a person comes from is going to show in what they make

Is this already available somewhere or do I need to have a Netflix account to see it?

This is great news for me. After finishing the real Alita, I was in dire need of something similar, but cyberpunk is literally dead nowadays

incoming new IP answer on page 7

It may come as a shock to you but I'm not OP and actually interested in this shit

Suggesting that anime is wholly linked to Japanese-ness is kinda retarded, my man, and a pretty arbitrary division - would you consider, say, Panty and Stocking to be anime despite it deeply aping the style of Hanna-Barbera and Western humour?

Do blacks even watch anime? Other than millennials who grew up watching some toonamishit? I bet 90% of its audience on Netflix is white despite being made for blacks.

Anime or not, no one's gonna talk about it once 2 weeks have passed. Fuck bingeshit and fuck netflix for abetting bingeshit.

>Yutapon cubes
disgusting as always

Not anime, fuck off.

Gunmu*

I guess. Nearlly all of them only talk about shounen where 99% of discussion is DBZ, Naruto, and, more recently MHA. The only one i know who actually deviated from this norm, honestly, i havent tried at all, is Mad Thad.

This released weekly?

Netflix so it''s bingeshit, 12 eps out in one go.

Are you retarded

This is netflix made right?
I liked dragon pilot so I might give this one a look

Of those shows I have only seen space dandy so that means nothing to me

sold

Not impressed. Mediocre animation. Mediocre script. Plot abysmal. Fixing reeks of Amerimutt production.

If this show is heavily influenced by other shows is there a list of shows I should watch first or is it better to go in blind?

Also god I hate the netflix binge release format so much, watching things come out slowly is fun, can't they meet in the middle and release an episode per day or something

another weeaboo cartoon?

already available on any website that thinks this is a cartoon/anime

It’s heavily influenced by other shows. Unfortunately, it’s rather mediocre.

I prefer a weekly 3 episode dump. Just enough to binge but not too much.

myanimelist.net/featured/1601/Cory_in_the_House__The_Best_Anime_We_Never_Had

Watched the first episode and I found it terrible, it felt more like going through the motions of anime rather than being anime, I didn't know this guy Le Shaun made it until i checked. It was not bad but just weeb shit.

Remember when hanazuki was supposed to release a few episodes on full moons but then it turned out they meant every 3 full moons
What the fuck were they thinking

What's that show where the 2 insurance agents are hunting down that cowboy guy
Reminds me of that

Anime! Fuck on!

Girl

So is Stan Lee and his hero man anime

>Would have been satisfied to see Philly make his peace and go out like Spike somehow,

He can’t die

Megan Thee Stalion (rapper ) does

I imagined this would ride along with learning the conditions behind his immortality, such as if he only lives forever until he gets his revenge, or if he can only die a certain number of times. Was expecting to see that rising number used to build tension instead of just not mattering.

I was surprised that it was default japanese with subs when I watched the first episode. As far as I've remembered Netflix has always played the english dub by default.

>More shitty weeaboo cartoons

Attached: 1398689056281.png (184x184, 57K)

Have already seen it.

Is the dub something like the boondocks or is it just white people with neutral accents?

Why are they brown? Pajeets?

So I'm three episodes in and this show so far strikes me as very shallow and half-assed. The music never feels appropriate to the visuals (and it seems the editors know that because they frequently mix it way way down), the exposition is clumsy as fuck, and it feels like the show thinks I should care about SAM and Philly but they're just so fucking uninteresting.

Also I kinda had to laugh at the end of episode 3. The main villain girl tells the demon king that SAM will lead them to Kelby, then he orders her to assassinate the guy getting them there. In which case they can't lead them to Kelby. These are not smart villains.

I'll have to be pretty bored to give it past the 3 episode try but this season is fucking empty anyway so I probably will

Attached: shrug.jpg (252x200, 18K)

It's none of those things.
The thing it most often reminded me of, and I am not kidding, is Neo Yokio.

Attached: neoyokiomain-625x352.jpg (625x352, 27K)

It looks like shit and it will never be anime.

So this show is basically is what happens when a black weeaboo watches too much adult swim as a kid and thinks he can make a anime by taking all the shows he watched meshing them together?

> It looks like shit
> and it will never be anime
Why? Your description perfectly fits the definition of anime.

>fast exciting visuals in the intro
>muted hip-hop music
Those don't fucking match you cretins

If LeSean was in charge of the character designs, you can bet your ass it is.

It just feels wrong, from start to finish. It was an attempt . A bad one at that.

No it's not anime, it's created by an american, japanese involvement is doing the animation.

If this is anime, then Avatar Last Airbender is anime, or RWBY.

Enough with this shit, MAL is being run by SJW's now.

Bad goy, netflix would never do that.

what makes manga manga? If Russian dude living in japan would publish his comic would it be manga? If so, then is it country or japanese editors that are important?
If japanese mangaka moved to USA and started publishing his manga there would it still be manga?
Are japanese webcomics not aprooved by official publisher still manga, or just webcomics?

not trying to bait, just wondering how you guys feel about it

Attached: good ts.png (642x715, 276K)

It really all just sounds like a "Real Scotsman" argument, if you ask me.

I guess all anime fairy tales aren't anime either.

Attached: wwopnb_hd.jpg (800x450, 97K)

You know black people aren’t aliens and enjoy all the things that you do right?

No most of them are aliens compared to us white people as most white people dont think beating/shooting/stabbing your own racial brother to death is hilarious and normal which is something blacks do all the time in the United Shitholes. Who cares if a few of you think differently? Its not reducing those ridiculous violent crime rates you africans cause.

>what makes manga manga? If Russian dude living in japan would publish his comic would it be manga? If so, then is it country or japanese editors that are important?
Manga is literally just japanese comics. So it is basically a japanese perspective on comics. If the Russian dude was influenced by Japan then it could be manga.
>If japanese mangaka moved to USA and started publishing his manga there would it still be manga?
Then it would just be an american comic
>Are japanese webcomics not approved by official publisher still manga, or just webcomics?
its webcomics.

Of course they are, just like Disney takes on european folktales don't make Disney movies EUROPEAN movies, Disney's Pinocchio is not an italian movie.

They are american movies, made for the american audience, by americans.

Meanwhile anime is japanese animation made for the japanese audience, by japanese.

Do you think Last Airbender, RWBY, Neo Yokio etc is anime ?

WORLDSTAR!

I wish to see your perfect culturally homogeneous world user.

I wish I could but you africans still live in my country so you cause nonstop chaos which you seem indifferent to, only confirming to racist you lack empathy for others.

I think that we've reached a saturation point where the distinction between anime doesn't matter anymore. Anime in Japan is just cartoons and the West only uses it for branding.

Considering how interconnected the world has become over the past 20 years with people being influenced all over the world by several different properties, anime is less "cartoons from Japan" and "cartoons that look like this".

>Anime in Japan is just cartoons and the West only uses it for branding.
Actually japanese are now increasingly using 'animation' for western animation, so they are themselves differentiating.

As for the west, yes they are trying to adopt the 'anime' moniker for branding purposes, as anime is very popular and massively growing, while 'cartoon' and 'animation' is considered for kids and a shrinking market.

It existed before cheap rapid transit became a thing, which is to say the duration of virtually every human civilization. When people moved in numbers, it was slow, and they moved to conquer the places they invaded. Now it happens fast.

>I think that we've reached a saturation point where the distinction between anime doesn't matter anymore
We definitely haven't. Just look at what Yea Forums talks about.

>anime is less "cartoons from Japan" and "cartoons that look like this"
Anime has never been an artstyle, and no matter how much retards try to push the idea, it never will.

>Unironic MAL thread

Attached: 1564866748190.jpg (1920x1080, 143K)

You can argue that anime isn't an art style, and I agree that it isn't, but most people who grew up around the popularity of DragonBall Z won't look at something like "My Neighbors, The Yamadas" and call it an anime.

But they'd see Cannon Busters and call it one on first glance.

They are simply wrong then.
The same person didn't even know Dragonball was anime when they watched it.

>and racist low iq tards who think black people can't be in anime unless they are some racist caricature not knowing they have always been in anime and that dark elfs in anime are black people.

Couldn't help spouting anti-racist pseudoscience could you?

No, its not cool. Its immoral to ever support anything that gives into black narcissism afrocentrists. I mean, what the fuck are you thinking? Feed into their child like ego. This show shows how bad genetic racial traits are reflected from the media they create. And who supports this garbage? Other blacks!

Trust me, there's a lot of overlap.

My point is that we're coming to a point of reaching a middle ground of influences. Anime's primary influences were early Western animation, which resulted in a back and forth. The primary differences between Anime and western cartoons during the boom were mainly the art direction and storytelling. With the West taking cues from this, and most of the people who grew up during the boom now in their 30s, creating work directly with the companies that influenced them in the first place - a lot fo the arguments at this point are mostly semantics for the sake of creating segregation just cause the idea of cross breeding corrupts, even though it's the entire reason these mediums become what they are.

too bad netflix wasn't around to give peepo choo the anime it deserved
truly felipe is a man ahead of his time

i guess it'd probably be too controversial anyway

Yes
Barely any but yes, if it's good enough

Attached: IMG_20190816_162902.jpg (2448x3264, 3.36M)

I'll call you a anti-racists retard that you ever though for a moment, that you were gonna re-prime someone for the non-existent crime of having pattern recognition.

You are wrong. The reason there will always be a distinction between anime and western animation is because there are genetic differences between races that will ALWAYS be reflected the works they create. The segregation exists for a valid reason.

Not many people are aware of it, because people still believe in this silly idea of environmental determinism, but its true. You may not have noticed it, but your brain did.

Because there are different cultures producing it they will never be the same. Look at the average anime season. Nothing looks like Cannon Busters there. Americans that has been influence by anime doesn't make anime like Japan makes anime. They are still fundamentally different.
The best effort an american trying to make anime can do is a copy of its influences.

>why does that look a bit off
>looks tumblr somehow
>read through thread
>western made
What am I noticing?

>because there are genetic differences between races that will ALWAYS be reflected the works they create
It's not about genetic differences, Nips don't have an anime gene. It is simply cultural differences. An american born person that then spent the rest of their life in Japan could make something that is more anime than a Japanese born person that spent the rest of their life in America.

Well this tread sucks, but I watched the first 2 episodes and thought it was ok, it at least seems better than other Netflix shit like B and Hero Mask

I watched the first episode today.

I thought it was pretty soul

It's a pretty good show. I'm interested to see what happens if it gets renewed.

Don't mind the thread. It's a lot of anime puritans.

the skin color

is this that guy who takes his sons drawings and makes them cool as fuck? those were heartwarming.

Might be shitty color theory but there's definitely something else, you could make it lineart and I'd still pick up on it. For blacks those looks more Costa Rican, too.

Just go here if you want to discuss it.

>t. posts SHE HAS WHITE FEATURES anytime a nonwhite girl looks attractive

Blacks watch shit like DBZ, not this gay shit

you fags ate pic related up but shit on this. you can't do both.

Attached: 95345.jpg (225x338, 24K)

The anime was made by Japanese, retard.
Stop making the same retarded arguments all the time. They are still as stupid as when you made them the first time.

>My point is that we're coming to a point of reaching a middle ground of influences.
The influences were always there, but there is still and has always been a clear distinctive difference between japanese and western animation made for their respective core audiences.

Even back in the 80's early 90's when anime was at the height of it's influence of western media, anime was still VERY distinct from said western media as it was transformed by the japanese 'cultural lens'.

>you africans still live in my country

How did they get there?

Its the same shit thread as this one. No discussion of the actual show. Just more NOT Yea Forums or MUH SJW shitposting.

But at least the discussion happens on the right board.

it's still not anime you fucking faggot it's french shit.

>Takahiro Natori debuted as a director with the series; character designs were handled by Tetsuya Kumagi, and the series featured music composed by Bradley Denniston and Kevin Begg. Satelight and Yumeta Company produced and co-animated the series.

So? Cannon Busters is being made by Japanese too.

Its an anime this is the right board. Stop being such a puritan. Anime adaptations of western shit happen.

this is the right board

Not anime.

Yes anime

>The 12-episode series was directed and written by LeSean Thomas, with Natasha Allegri, Anne Toole, and Nilah Magruder writing scripts alongside Thomas.
No.

Yes

No it's not, Disney copied Kimba almost frame by frame, not even that makes 'The Lion King' an anime.

Guess that means Gankutsuou isn't anime, since it is also based on a french book.

So is radiant

Not anime. It's a western comic, made into a cartoon by netflix

Lion King was made by Disney, a western company. So its a western cartoon
Cannon Busters was made by Satelight, a japanese company. So its a japanese cartoon (anime)

No Lion King was made by Americans so it is an American cartoon.
Cannon Busters is also made by Americans so it is also an American cartoon.

Netflix defaults it to japanese. Its an anime. The dub also sounds terrible like an anime.

my entire point is that you guys look like hypocritical faggots for lapping down radiant when it was airing even though it was french shit yet this west shit is instantly getting panned. it's funny. you guys aren't even trying to defend yourselves either. just running in circles.

Netflix doesn't get to decide what is and isn't anime.

speaking of anime made by non-japs, what ever happened to Crunchyroll's High Guardian Spice?

The Radiant anime was actually made by nips. Also see.Your argument is retarded.

They mostly just watch mainstream shounen, if not only DBZ/DBS

>dark elfs in anime are black people.
No. These are black people. Look at those thick lips

Not even in the west are dark elves like black people

Attached: black.jpg (300x168, 12K)

Neither do you. Its an anime.

SeeNot anime.

Hmm.
I need to watch this. I love this kind of fast paced action-adventure shows. Hope it's at least somewhat similar to Space Dandy, Shingeki no Bahamut, Michiko to Hatchin and some other Bones shows like Kenran Butou Sai and Eureka 7. Should I watch dub or sub? Feeling kinda lazy to read anything at all.

Doesn't matter what Netflix defaults it to. Just like Battle Chasers is not a JRPG(made by a western company based on a western comic) no matter what the horrendously retarded western devs say or try to market it as.

>Guess that means Gankutsuou isn't anime, since it is also based on a french book.

Of course they are, just like Disney takes on european folktales don't make Disney movies EUROPEAN movies, Disney's Pinocchio is not an italian movie, despite being based upon a italian book and taking place in italy.

Your argument has already been debunked a thousand times.

actually genuinely retarded?

You miss read what I wrote. I think Gankutsuou is an anime. Unlike Cannon Busters.

Scripted and written by the west
Well that settles it. Not anime. Just like Avatar isn't anime.

Take this and all future thread to Yea Forums

Sub. Dub sounds like stilted anime talk.

>mal
Fuck off.

Radiant is not an anime, it's a french comic animated by a japanese company.

Batman TAS is not anime, despite being animated by a japanese company.

>t. psued
The difference between anime and western agitprop is obvious to anyone with critical faculties. Why do you think we all abandoned western media, and now the international bankers are eyeing our new preferred media?
Kids, do not let them take over anime. You might understand what is happening, but if you don't like hollywood shit, then don't support their anime productions.

Radiant anime was adapted, scripted, and directed by a Japanese studio. Entirely different than

>The 12-episode series was directed and written by LeSean Thomas, with Natasha Allegri, Anne Toole, and Nilah Magruder writing scripts alongside Thomas.[11]

>(((netflix)))

Thry probably trashed it after the poor reception

I want some pancakes now.

There has been only two good western anime.

Boondocks and Avatar the Last Airbender.

It stops there.

>western anime
Not a thing.

i for one am ok with this,it just seems like we are coming to a point in time where even our own country is sick of the blandness it takes when story writing, if it means more badass shows really well written why does it matter where it comes from.....honestly as long as its not the rooster teeth people with there fucking shitty animation style im more than ok with something that could potentially be really good

look at this cutie patootie

>MAL
Who gives a fuck?
Stay there.

It doesn't matter if its good or not. As long as its not 100% Nippon made, Yea Forums won't accept it.

Yea Forums isnt one person kiddo

Anime is animation as in moving images. In this globalist world, it matters little where it was made anymore, and the lines are blurrier. We seen animated designs inspired by Japanese style, and vice versa. We also seen animation made in japan where story, settings and characters are inspired western culture. Cartoons/Anime are just semantics. In the end it is all animation. Does not matter where it is made anymore. What matters is why and by who.

Is Oban anime?

Because it is
>Yea Forums - Anime & Manga
not
>Yea Forums - Animatinon & Comics

Like I didn't know that. Even so, any thread here will just be full of NOT ANIME shitters.

>culture is entirely irrelevant
Stop being retarded. You are simply wrong. Watch stuff made by different countries and they are always obviously different.

As it should be because it isn't anime.
Go to if you want.

old and busted

read again. this time slowly. I never wrote that culture is irrelevant. So don't misquote me.

>it matters little where it was made anymore
Also means it doesn't matter in what culture it is being made.

Meant for

You are retarded, there's a reason we have /a and /co

there is a clear difference between writing where it is made(location) and writing culture does not matter(social influence). Every animated project is going to be based by other works and culture. So, yeah stop misquoting and misinterpreting my message.

Locations have culture as well. Globalism hasn't changed that yet.

A really silly reason. Its artificial segregation based on outdated understanding and semantics on the medium.

I liked the Opening.

it's anime fag

Gave me Sands of Destruction and Gun X Sword vibes.

See (You)
Not anime.

Even a five year old would notice a clear distinction between a bunch of animes displayed with a bunch of cartoons.

Which of course is why one of them is thriving while the other is dying, much like manga versus comics.

The point is it does not matter where it is made, be it America, Japan or France. It is all animation in the end. What matters are the team that made it and their reasons, which could be money, artistic expression or tribute to another work. I am not dismissing the cultural part, since it every work of art borrows from society itself and other cultures.

MAL said it's anime

myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1795640

There's Chinese and probably Korean animation on MAL too but that doesn't make them anime.

>The point is it does not matter where it is made, be it America, Japan or France
No it obviously matters. Just look at what Japan produce compare to America and France. it is entirely different.

Fuck off.

A five year does not even understand what is animation or how it is made.

anime-planet.com/people/takahiro-natori

anime

Only if they are brain dead. Even a child can tell the difference between something drawn and not.

produced in tokyo

twitter.com/Thomasintokyo/status/1162030323149889536

Anime

Different markets, user. Westeners have always preferred movies with real people over made up moving images.

The markets are different because of culture.

MAL is a SJW infested shithole, and only added it as anime after SJW's complained to them.

It's still not anime. If MAL were consistent then Avatar Last Airbender would be there, as it is just as much 'anime' as this shit.

The creative team is all foreigners. I mean anime gets outsourced to korea but we're not calling them koreanimation since the creative side is Japanese.

not really. most children have little to no experience in images.

You can post all the links you want. Still doesn't change

Batman the Animated Series was also produced in Tokyo. I guess it's ANIME now!

Water is wet.

You are definitely underestimating 5 year old.

>overdesigned
>a robot with hair and wearing clothes

Attached: 1562749803829.jpg (550x422, 126K)

Therefore the show being made are different because of the different cultures of the countries they are made in.

It was so kino, it might as well be considered anime.

Yes. Nonetheless in essence it all animation as in moving images. the iphone is designed by americans and made by chinese. in essence it is a smartphone.

West will save anime.

Attached: crunchygoy.jpg (1989x1353, 393K)

Oh fuck of! Even non-weab ngros watch anime and that says a lot.

If it were dubbed in japanese would it be ANIME?

Make up your minds, Yea Forums. Is Cannon Busters anime or not?

>High Guardian Spice died fro this
It's not fair bros...

it's still anime

bitch dis is Anime! and it's AOTY too

Japanese director

ANIME!

hentai.

it's anime all right

Alita rip off

Anime

I don't know what you're expecting from a board that mostly only discusses isekai, harem, and shounen. Yea Forums can actually give an unbiased opinion on the series, because they actually have taste over there.

>what is a civilization?
Marxists hate this question!

anime
twitter.com/NetflixJP_Anime/status/1162197288103473154

I love this anime!

>Netflix says this is anime
You're not helping your case, Netflix paid for this shit, and desperately want weeb subscribers.

"Anime" in the same sense as Oban Star Racers.

>Big Mammy Negress

It's not anime
>The 12-episode series was directed and written by LeSean Thomas, with Natasha Allegri, Anne Toole, and Nilah Magruder writing scripts alongside Thomas.

It looks...fine, maybe even a little fun. Japanese studios have done collabarative projects like this since the 70s - i mean sure, it's kinda skirting the edge of Yea Forums and Yea Forums but people are getting their panties into a serious twist over this.

>convenient bump in page 10 praising the show
yikes

It could be the greatest show on Earth but I'd discuss it in Yea Forums where it belongs. If we let random shit skirt the line, where do we stop?

I like it. The brown robot looks like it could be the child of Nono and Lal'C.

Cringe

Netflix didn’t pay for shit

>dark elves are black people
At best dark elves are south pacific islanders.

Elves are not even human. Just like this robot girl SAM

Any nudity in it?

yeah and he made a book

shit

France did good show with some japanese style unlike America

Still doesn't change its garbage

>France did good show with some japanese style
>Wakfu
Kek

Still doesn't change its anime

It's clearly Yea Forums and you intentionally bumped it beofre it fell into oblivion where it belongs. Doesn't matter if a Nip studio animated it. What matters is who did the writing, script, storyboard, and directing. Since it was done by some western niggers it's clearly not anime

I wonder if this debate would even be happening if there weren't any blacks in the show.

ANIME JANAI!!!!!!!!!

>I'll call you a anti-racist
Oh no, stop, please. Don't call me anti-racist. Such a terrible accusation.

Attached: 1392228465874.gif (390x277, 2.31M)

Are we allowed to talk about avatar now?

Nice bump from page 10 again

ANIME DA!!!!!!!!

What do Japanese people think of this show?

Check Twitter and japan Netflix

looks more like another neo yokio

Wait you've never heard cars/machines referred to as she? And Bessie just makes sense as a cow themed mech.

Imagine babysitting the thread and bumping it every time it hits page 10

And you're (((white))), right Muhammad?

Her design is pretty good actually

Because they were made almost 2 decades ago.
Things have changed

>black Carole & Tuesday
but thats already black

>every black person, even animated needs to have thick lips
>no other race of people need identifying characteristics
when will this meme end, and you get upset when people call you racist or to go back to /pol/

No, I have heard it, it's just the bull it transforms into is a clearly masculine form. I mean, it's a bull!

Nothing since last year, not even for the supposed release date. The backlash must’ve been that bad.

It can be as well animated as it wants but it never fails to be ugly anyway. Every other good animator can do debris correctly why should I praise this hack for taking a shortcut?

Imagine being this paranoid.

>Biology is raycis
Dilate

Never heard of this show before.

Yet you decided to bump it from the bottom of the catalog once again.

Not anime, fuck off.

Watching episode 1, all I can say is maintenance bot is cute.

Looks shit and sjw pandering

Why do people want to see black characters?
Honest question.

This looks like its trying so hard to be "anime"

Comes off as cringe

I own a ton of anime.

If cannon busters isn't anime neither is mary and the witches flower

>mary and the witches flower
This one is 100% animated and produced by Japanese people. The country which the original work comes from doesn't determine the rights to be "anime" or not, we're talking about the staff behind a transposition.

Only brainwashed westerners obsessed with diversity do

Fuck on! It’s anime

The same reason why people want to see lolis.

Or milfs. Or elves. Or non-bland MCs. Or pussy.

I really don't care one way or another about something trivial like that.

well, it's not in nyaa yet, so...

>you africans still live in my country
And just WHICH FUCKING RACE we have to blame for that? It's not like we wanted to come to your shit-infested MAGA country in the first place.

fucking THIS

Black people who sold fellow black people to slavery?

WUZ

Insecure niggers and Cucks that think mcs having different skin color makes the anime somehow special.

What's funny is that nips aren't really interested in it kek.

This anime will go down the same path like afro samurai.

Attached: 1563579558630.jpg (720x813, 231K)

Wait... is the title of the show a Gun Busters reference?

Just give it a try. It's an original show with a cool setting, which already makes it better than 95% of the usual light novel trash.

The overarching plot is nice to have but nothing special. I'd watch it more like a Space Dandy or a Kino's Journey. The strength of the show lies in the wacky scenarios the protagonists find themselves in every episode and in the side characters.

Because it is episodic? Because Space Dandy and Kino's journey are nothing alike.

Because more than one kind of human exists?

>in my country
Are you Native American? If not, this isn't your fucking country.

Anime

got halfway to episode 3 and then just had to close the tab. jesus what a shit show, this feels just like that cartoon with that will smith kid.
and it sure as hell ain't no anime, you mods need to move this thread back to Yea Forums

t. Zoomer

>nips aren't really interested in it
They're pretty similar to Yea Forums in that they generally aren't interested in shows with heavy Western cultural influences. Carole and Tuesday suffers from the same problem - if it had been set in Japan-on-Mars instead of America-on-Mars, I think it would have been a lot more popular.

Japan loved kekkai sensen from the trigun creator . Very western

And C&T latest episode was trending on Japanese Twitter

It’s anime fag

It has tits and blood and is rated R

...

Jesus Christ why is thread still alive? why are you all bumping it?

Attached: 61rKo.png (720x540, 482K)

You bumped it dumb fag

more like cannon niggers

It's the same guy almost every time.

Why does the robot have nappy pube hair

Netflix shill has been bumping it every time it hit page 10

I started watching the English version but that robot girl's voice is so annoying that I had to turn it off.

Watch it in Japanese dub ass

>watching the dubs
Are you 5 years old?

Mega when

shh user, Japan is literally Yea Forums

Why is it that a BLACK MAN can make an anime, but none of you people can?

Is this shit actually worth the watch or not?

Attached: 1565810902539.jpg (436x536, 51K)

Mod confirmed that RWBY is officially Yea Forums, so I don't see the problem to talk about Avatar either.

Stan Lee made hero man

I'm pretty sure RWBY is /trash/core. Does Yea Forums not want it that bad?

He didn't make an anime, he made an American cartoon.

Reminder that LeSean himself worked on the English dub so it's the version you should be watching and if you don't you're a dumb weeb who doesn't care about a creator's intention :^)

He can a went to Japan to get it made

Not unless you're the kind of viewer that sits through what mostly passes for animu these days. It's no worse than any number of extremely dumb and mediocre 1/2-cour shonen

Though the music is definitely way below what's acceptable.

I really liked this show. Though I also really wanted to see Philly kill the prince. Nothing makes my eyes roll like watching some whiny kid getting bathed in compliments, just for breathing air.

Also little repair bot Casey Turnbuckle is best character by the end.

Lastly why did they change some of the names? The kingdom's was originally called Gearbolt.

this shit looks awful literally
>we wuz anime n shieet
satelight must've been desperate for the money

please just fuck off back to already you stupid Yea Forumsmblr trannies

I like your second chin even better than your first one.

Then why does the Japanese dub sound better?

>white women

Attached: normalfags are cancer.jpg (1000x2876, 657K)

wow a shit ton of Netflix shills in this thread
no one likes this shit, it's the same west cuck diversity garbage everyone has been sick of for fucking years
take this shit back to

Why is everyone in Yea Forums this braindead and retarded

No, more like white faggots who got tired and lazy doing work so they raid another continent, steal their people, and forced them to work without ever tasting freedom again or die

Stan Lee ain't black, stupid.

And he isn’t Japanese

Nope. It’s fucking anime that is on my anime list

Why do you keep bumping it off page 10? It's not anime and no one is interested in your Yea Forums shit

>ass-blasted over dark skin

It ain't Yea Forums shit, either. Don't like this thread? Fuck your ass outta here.

pic related.

It’s on MAL so its anime

You should probably go back to MAL with the other retards then. Not anime no matter what those dumbasses put it as.

It’s anime. You just don’t want it to be one.

sorry... am not interested

Ok

Why not??

watched one episode of this shit and I already feel like I've seen everything this show has to offer over 10 years ago on toonami. banking off of 00's anime nostalgia was an awful choice.

Attached: 1511630812697.png (588x437, 273K)

I'm 23 years old

I don’t care, the English voices are shit

>steal their people
They were treated as property by fellow black people and sold for fair compensation.

It started off promising, then turned into a series of episodes that got more and more annoying. Main dude seems to make decisions independent of his established character just to fit the episode's events that need to happen. The bots are almost as annoying as that black clover screaming fuck. Nothing actually gets done until the final episode and even then the last fight is cringe, not impressive, and is only inserted in service of telling you that there will be even more annoying characters and bots in season 2.

Kind of spoiler- [main bot literally says "well I don't know what just happened but all I know is my tomodachi is in danger and I must mamoru him, and no I don't need to understand why or discuss what just fucking happened."]

I honestly don't know how you fuck up an anime with such a strong premise and turn it into an annoying clusterfuck of constantly changing character motivations that spins it's wheels until the last episode where it says wait for the next season, fucko.

>no tension because our "heroes" are immortal, the most powerful weapon in existence, and comic relief lolibot
>music was clearly done well after animation, with the composer doing nothing to match the visuals. The editors noticably mix down the score because it fits so poorly
>The show utterly fails to make its main characters likable or give us a reason to care about Kelby and SAM's quest
>the show never develops any of its good ideas (resurrection curse, bessie's coin function, bots getting weird without "upgrades") and constantly has to throw out stupid additions (lol here's a device that instantly KOs all robots at range - wait shit robots need to be a threat nevermind forget this exists)
I don't think LeSean is a bad writer/director, but he needed to take this old and undeveloped idea out back behind the shed to shoot it.

This show bored the.fuck out of me. I think it's like 12 episodes I skipped two of them. One of them was an episode with Pikmin miles that shit was booooorrrrriiing as fuuuuck. The other one I skipped was so fucking boring I don't even remember the plot of it. This is the type of shit when Americans try to make anime. Unoriginal trash with overused tropes in other anime. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a second part and reveal this shit is an isekai. Skip this shit. It ain't worth your time folks.

Attached: 1465392999473.jpg (380x380, 168K)

Shit I meant Pikmin moles not miles

At least Bahamut is white

Just finished it, it's pretty good, and any issues I had with it can be wrapped up in the second season. The main character is a really shitty outlaw/cowboy but is very entertaining. Sam is the star of the show and Casey is really good too. Only character I don't care for too much is the the Prince.

I'd give it like a 7/10 but if they really get more into the character's backstories I'll likely really love this show.
