It's more of a slow burn with a light-hearted core, keep in mind it's a shonen unlike Doro. I have faith though, the pacing is pretty decent for a monthly series and Sanko/Avakian are a very endearing duo.

MC has an entire fucking world against him though.
As far as setting goes, it's pretty chaotic thus far but we already have the utter insanity of black hole travels, a giant biopunk kindergarden and whatever the fuck the Dark World is.

Why do people keep saying this? Her face is closer to Noi (Masculine character revealed to be a girl is also the same thing that happened with Noi) but in terms of role and personality she's closer to Chidaruma, only a "good guy"

The thing i can say for sure is that Zanko is a very fun protagonist.
He already starts off ridiculosly strong and seemingly completely sane unlike Kaiman and his combat style is way more bizarre and brutal.

Seems potentially more interesting than Dorohedoro but Dorohedoro set up it's character relationships pretty quickly whereas that's barely been established at all so far in Dai Dark. Still early days though.
